Six Tu-22М3 bombers attacked IG facilities in Syria east and north-west of Palmyra, reports RIA News message of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The press service noted that “the planes took off on the territory of Russia and dropped high-explosive fragmentation bombs in the area of the settlements of Su-Sune and Arak”.

Russian airplanes bombed the control center and a large field camp of terrorists near Es-Sukhne.

“In the areas of Palmyra and Arak, control points and concentrations of terrorists, an underground ammunition depot and weapons, three infantry fighting vehicles, 12 off-road vehicles with large-caliber machine guns, and a large number of enemy personnel were destroyed,” the report said.

After completing the mission, all the bombers returned to the home airfield.

I think you should not wait for the fact that the tie-eater and the egg-laying lady will be punished by fate. Shary in his comments analyzes and compares mainly in relation to Russia. which is generally correct - the picture is more voluminous. one-sided criticism does not look like analysis - more finely, or something. Moreover, the Russian participants in the forum, I believe, are more concerned about the state of education in Russia than in Ukraine?

On the one hand, the Tu-22 and high-explosive-fragmentation bombs are somehow shallow.
          BUT:
          - instead of training flights over their territory - real sorties. The consumption of kerosene is the same, but the benefits are greater.
          - disposal of old ammunition, and with benefit and on foreign territory.
          - Pilot award for combat flight.
          - the pilots returned, bought vodka and snacks for washing - profit to the store owner.
          - the store owner paid taxes.
          - pensioners received a pension.

Conclusion, bombardment of sheepmates increase the well-being of Russian pensioners.

In general, we need a version of a slow-moving bomb carrier, preferably an unmanned one. Load into it a hundred FAB500, put in a circle over Allepo and nightmare the barmaley for days. A week of continuous operation and then stripping.

By weight only, unfortunately. Tu-160 is completely for other purposes, like the Tu-22M3. The Americans have redesigned AC-130 transporters for this.
With us, these tasks are successfully solved by the Su-25. But time goes on. The presence of such an air platform in combination with modern reconnaissance equipment, with the possibility of refueling in the air would allow:
                1. Provide round-the-clock support to the troops from the air.
                2. The most powerful psychological pressure would be exerted on the enemy (imagine, you’ve been methodically dumped on your head for XNUMX hours).
                3. Would reduce to zero the loss of flight personnel.
                And much more ...
It would be nice if he still buzzed like the An-22.
                But it is, dreams)

According to the president of the Institute of the Middle East, all this is irritating only the position of the West, which literally twists Russia's hands when our country is trying to end international terrorism.
“The only thing that upsets me is that our diplomats are subjected to continuous intellectual rape by Western“ colleagues, ”and this slightly restrains the just desire of our army to wipe out all this Islamist gang from the face of the earth. Because every terrorist in the West, and in the East too, has his own friend, patron, patron: either these are Turks with Saudis and Qatar, or America with Great Britain and France. Well, what can we do now - they all want to cover their terrorists, and are doing everything they can to do this. And in this case, since our diplomats are talking to them - and this is their job, to talk - then, unfortunately, to wipe out all terrorists from the face of the earth as quickly as we would like, so far it does not work out. But from the point of view of combining the time frame and the costs that go for it, from all points of view - both material and technical, and the expenditure of ammunition, and, frankly, our losses - we can only put the Russian army five on the plus, ” summarized Eugene Satanovsky.

Media: discharged the commander of the Syrian forces in Aleppo
The Syrian military command relieved Major General Adeeb Muhammad of his post as commander of government forces in the Aleppo region. The post was taken by Major General Zayed Salah, deputy commander of the Republican Guard. London's Al-Rai al-Yum writes about this.

This is due to the successes of the jihadists in the battle for the largest city in Syria - Aleppo. Jabhat Fattah al-Sham and its allies were able to break the blockade of areas held by the regime's opponents.

They posted a video on the Internet that allegedly shows humanitarian aid coming into the city. However, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claims that broken corridors are too narrow and dangerous for humanitarian convoys to pass through.

Jabhat Fattah al-Sham, now called Jabhat al-Nusra, also announced that it will double the number of militants taking part in the battle for Aleppo. "Our goal is to liberate the entire city, to throw off the flag of the occupiers from its citadel," the statement said.

Official Damascus was forced to admit the death of Brigadier General Airborne Forces Mahmoud Aziz Hassan in the battles for Aleppo. At the same time, the regime of Bashar al-Assad refutes reports of the death of another military commander - General Riyadh Abbas.

In American prisons, in other countries, the same thing happens. An example is the Guantanamo prison. And here's another question - why does America need an American prison in Ukraine? The answer is simple - you can create lawlessness to the fullest, no one has the right to check.

yes, 2000, only tse not Iraqis, but Hezbollah. and by the way, there, in the northern part of Aleppo, ISIS broke through the ring, pulled up somewhere 7000 fighters from Idlib and Lattakia. "seized" a large number of American weapons from the "moderate opposition". so it's hot there now, like hell. and on the topic 6 and 8 and even 10 aircraft do not solve anything there. This is of course no help for the Syrians, but this is not enough. it's like brushing off dust with a toothpick. they need to be bombed 25 hours a day ... (to start an hour earlier) and tons of bombs must be dropped on their heads for a whole day with minute breaks. the Americans supply them with weapons regularly, from the border with the Turks there is a constant replenishment of manpower, they are taking the wounded to hospitals, and from there those who have been healed again to the front line. the Syrians must return all the remaining Su-24MKs that have been modernized. there are 20-21 of them. so far only the first 2 have been installed. at the same time increase the number of Su-25s, and burn these nits to the ground all day long. I recently read that they burned alive 127 people, including women and children and old people.

The attacks were inflicted by a link of long-range bombers, which took off early in the early hours of Monday from Russia. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, six Tu-22M3 delivered a concentrated blow with high-explosive fragmentation ammunition at the IS facilities in areas located east and northwest of Palmyra, near the settlements of Es-Sukhne and Arak.

During an airstrike, the IS command posts and the large terrorist field camp in Es Sukhna were destroyed. During the air raid, three terrorist infantry fighting vehicles, 12 vehicles with heavy machine guns, and a large number of IS fighters were destroyed.

Typical unguided bombing. To get the accuracy,
it takes several bombers striking the same target.
There are no miracles here. The video shows how part of the bombs detach

A coalition of jihadists called the “Conquest Army” with the forces of about 300 militants, with the support of infantry fighting vehicles and tanks, was able to break through the defense of the SAR armed forces in Ansar. Thus, it restored the supply route for the militants in the eastern part of the city.

During the offensive, the extremists again used jihad mobiles, but this time the extremists used BMP-1 as a means of transportation, since the Syrian army is aware of the vile method and destroy cars stuffed with explosives from small arms on the way.

As a result of the successful assault, the militants seized the building of the aviation technical school, from where the road along which the government troops sent reinforcements was completely shot through.

However, the jihadists did not have to rejoice for long. Having learned about the mass congestion of the enemy’s manpower, the Russian Aerospace Forces inflicted a series of airstrikes on both the Islamists in the city and the reserves that advanced to help them.

The bombing was extremely successful. 186 militants were killed and about 250 wounded, as well as 3 tanks and several infantry fighting vehicles destroyed. At the moment, Russian planes continue to deliver targeted strikes, so the number of losses among extremists could increase.

Immediately after the successful actions of the Russian Aerospace Forces, a unit of the Syrian special forces “Tiger Forces” was urgently transferred to the area. Elite fighters, not letting the enemy come to their senses after the crushing blows of Russian planes, forced the Islamists out of the building of the cement factory, which is located opposite the aviation technical school. Thus, the fighters took under fire control the same path that the jihadists received supplies. As a result, the highway is under the crossfire of two warring forces.

The coordinated actions of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Tigers made it possible to rectify the situation and again close the "boiler" in Aleppo.
