Maria Zakharova called on Western media not to hush up the use of chemical weapons by the “moderate opposition”
Recall that the militants of one of the terrorist groups (“Harakat Nur ad-Din al-Zinki”), which in the US and the EU are called “moderate rebels”, used toxic substances against civilians in the eastern part of Aleppo. As a result, dozens of dead, hundreds - received the strongest chemical poisoning, burns.
On her Facebook page, Maria Zakharova urged the Western media to find the strength to highlight the use of chemical weapons by the “moderate opposition” in Aleppo.
We give a post Maria Zakharova on Facebook fully:
According to reports, 2 August 2016 of the year 19 05 minutes in the eastern part of Aleppo from Sukkari district in the residential quarter of Salah ad-Din, located near the Sakhat-Saldal Square, militants of the so-called “moderate opposition” used toxic substances.
As a result, at least 7 people died, and more than 20 people with signs of asphyxiation and respiratory tract burns were evacuated to Aleppo city hospitals.
Responsibility for this crime against the civilian population lies with the “moderate” grouping “Harakat Nur ad-Din al-Zinki”, which had previously been repeatedly accused of numerous murders of children and women in the uncontrolled “opposition” neighborhoods of Aleppo. Supported by these animals that used toxic substances against civilians, the United States.
The American side was informed of what had happened through the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in the Syrian Arab Republic.
But this, unfortunately, is not the only tragedy behind which the “moderates” stand, backed by Washington.
One more example. Armed forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces have now virtually completely blocked the city of Membij in the province of Aleppo.
At the same time, the militants of this “opposition” group are conducting intense hostilities in the city’s residential quarters, which entails a significant number of civilian casualties. A supporting SDS aviation The United States and the coalition strike not so much on specific ISIS facilities as on areas of the city.
Negotiations on the cessation of resistance with gangs blocked in this locality are not conducted. This entails additional casualties among the local population. The details are as follows: all possible exit routes for refugees are blocked from Membija, no assistance is provided to civilians, including humanitarian aid. The population is experiencing an acute shortage of food, medicine and essential items. In this regard, the conditions for the onset of a "humanitarian catastrophe" have now been established in the city.
The only case of the release of civilians from Membij 19 July this year. accompanied by an incident with an air strike on a column of refugees, as a result of which about 200 people were injured.
At the same time, no precautionary steps are being taken by the United States and the VTS to prevent deaths.
According to the available information, just since the beginning of the operation in Membidge since July 19, the US Air Force and coalition planes inflicted more than 90 airstrikes in urban areas, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of civilians killed and injured.
However, the consequences of the July 28 bombardment by the coalition aviation of the village of Al-Ghandur, in which 28 people were killed, including 7 children, and 100 people were injured, even shocked the representatives of the “moderate opposition”. It is impossible to watch videos, including those containing footage of the death of children.
If our Western colleagues, first of all in Washington, will again do everything so that these facts are not noticed, then any of their talk about “stopping the bloodshed in Syria” will become simply ridiculous. I really hope that the Western media (in large quantities, and not just Matthew Lee) will find the strength to write about the crimes of the "moderates" and the sources of their financing. This is my appeal to you, The New York Times, Le Figaro, Bild, as well as to all who regularly cite the "London Observatory for Human Rights in Syria." Especially to Bild, because so far this edition has announced a boycott news about the achievements of the Russian team at the Olympics in Rio. There is hope that the tabloid will have a place for a couple of paragraphs about the atrocities in Syria of "moderate opposition." A couple of paragraphs of truth have not hurt anyone.
At this point, the Western media practiced re-printing the blatant lie that allegedly Russian airplanes on the territory of Idlib province, where the Russian helicopter Mi-8 was shot down by militants the other day, bombarded with chemical fillings. The Defense Ministry refuted these statements and advised to pay attention to the attacks of the American coalition, as a result of which dozens of peaceful Syrians were killed.
