Belarusian wonders. Is the museum easy?

26

In this story, I want to share my impressions with all readers. Impressions are different, you know. Sometimes positive, sometimes so-so.

The most pleasant thing to share is when positive impressions hit over the edge. This is exactly the case.

At the very beginning, on behalf of everyone reading this series of materials and from the editorial staff and our small group, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the most worthy representatives of the people of Belarus as a whole and Brest in particular, without whose help this adventure would hardly be so productive.

These are members of the military history club "Brest Fortress" Vyacheslav Pukhovsky and Dmitry Mozheiko. Thank you very much for your help, especially to Dmitry.

Well, now you can safely go to the topic of the story.

VIC "Brest Fortress" - a very small entity. But here is the case when they take not quantity, but quality. But the essence of this club is not in the fact that they reconstruct some of the units of the Red Army and participate in events, but in the fact that they work with equipment. And we arrived at a very interesting moment, when on their basis there were works on creating a full-fledged museum.

The museum turns out to be absolutely private, the state does not participate. But so it goes very, very worthy.

When we arrived at the base, it was raining, so we did not shoot what was happening in the yard. Moreover, the construction nightmare was revealed in all its horror of creation, regardless of the weather. And we went to the funds ...

Theater and museum begin with a sign.

Telephone at the entrance. The original machine, nothing to say.

First, a small exhibition with motorcycles.

"Tourist". The dream of Soviet retired fishermen.

"Chasetta". Member of many films of the past.

Motorcycle star star - "Harley" fully loaded

And this is Dmitry, our guide and assistant. Demonstrated why this creepy holster on the steering wheel. When ambushed on the road, as conceived by the designers, it was possible to grab the Thompson from it and shoot back ...

Thompson. With one hand. On a motorcycle. And shoot in order to get into someone ... Oh, and these Americans are optimists ...

Pannonia T2 or TLD De Luxe. Hungary.

Further in the big hall are our, absolutely battle horses. M-72, aka BMW R71. Funny equipment with German grenades))

And this is what, in fact, it all began. BTR-152. True, this is not the original. Made from ZIL by machining with a proper tool. But it is easier on 4,5 tons and does not ask for fuel as much.

Inside view. BTR happy to use local airsoft.

Scooter Not a military thing, but a rarity, no matter how backwater.

Another "star". "Willis" 1943 year of release. Fully original. In addition to the battery.

"Willis" is not actually used, because of problems with gasoline. B-60 not found anywhere today.

"Ivan-Willis", aka GAZ-76B.

GAZ-69, how without him in such a company?

TPK (front edge conveyor) based on LuAZ-967. Created by request of the Airborne Forces as an evacuation vehicle for the wounded.

Winch for pulling the wounded from shelled places.

Could also bring ammunition and in general everything that is needed. Not stuck, and even floated.

Whether Ford, or Opel. If desired, can play the role of anyone. Created by St. Petersburg automasters partly from original parts.

This couple is waiting in the wings. In line for a revival, so to speak.

And this is a "superstar". "Buick." Sedan (!) 1930 of the year. It could Capone guys cut!

From here went the fashion for all sorts of figures on the nose. But the "Buick" is also a temperature gauge in the radiator.

Krutilka for janitors.

The pedals are a bit too much: besides the usual ones, the starter and the windshield washer drive.

ZIS-5 production Ural-ZIS. The main three-ton truck of the Red Army. I repent, I broke his session, but ZIS-5 can be found on the photo without any problems.

The heart of the ZIS-5, "six". Just like 75 years ago.

Spartan military truck cab. But in comparison with the "lorry" - very much.

Kitchen with awning. Not exhibit, working, operated.

The club is armed with two ZIS-3. It is clear that it is demilitarized, but it can boom from the heart.

Damage and holes did not specifically stop up. These are traces of war.

Next we went to the rifle arms. There is also beauty.

MG-34. Perfect condition, and even on the machine!

MG-42, and even fully equipped, with a drum and a case for interchangeable trunks.

"Tommy-gan" sample 1921 of the year. Favorite gangster toy on Buick. By the way, in 1924, the USSR, through Mexico, purchased a batch of these submachine guns for the OGPU and the border troops.

Weapon crates. And if you open ...

That's right, there is a weapon there!

"Degtyarev tank".

Browning Machine Gun M1919

Submachine gun Sudaeva (PPS-43). The best PP of the war.

"Maksim". Well, as in a decent museum without him?

DP "Degtyarev infantry."

SVT-40 and Kar98k

Here is such a museum ... In general, after each such publication it is very pleasant to write words that this is the best that I have seen to date. I will write now. This is really a very cool idea in a very serious performance.

But that is not all. We received an invitation to come a year later, when a couple more projects are being implemented. And then ... But I will not even lift the veil of secrecy in order to keep the intrigue. And in a year we will definitely come and show that a team of like-minded people can accomplish in the name of an idea. And necessarily on the weekend, so that it was possible to show the results of their work together with the members of the club in all its glory.

Honestly, it will be worth it. So thank you very much "Brest Fortress", and see you soon!

Well done Belarusians! If the money that was thrown into the museum of anti-Russian liberal propaganda "Yeltsin-Center", and given to such as the opened museum in the BR, in Russia there would be hundreds of them for patriotic education.

Read carefully the museum is private, not state. In Russia, there are also such. Well done, these are people who, without using state funds, do such things.

Well done people. But you need to understand that in today's realities, restoration of such equipment is impossible without serious financial support. It was during the times of the USSR that it was possible to agree with acquaintances at the factories per liter of white. And now - only money, and big money. Otherwise, as it is not sad, a unique technique will not last long. Nevertheless, it was nice to see the TPK (front-end conveyor) based on the LuAZ-967. This machine, like all LuAZ products, was developed by US and I knew quite well the people who participated in its development. Few people know, but the steering column of this miracle leans out and allows you to control the car moving next to it crawling. Together with a low silhouette, this made the TPK an indispensable tool for evacuating the wounded and covertly solving other tasks at the forefront.

Two Romanes! It’s very difficult to write a comment. There are a lot of impressions and return to childhood. The first shock I experienced when I saw the phone in an explosion-proof version. I don’t know, these or similar ones were in the structures of the Blagoveshchensk UR. Now they made a semblance of artillery near Gorpark museum exhibit, before it was a textbook for cadets, I do not remember if there is such or TAI-43.
The Buick dashboard resembles the ZiS-5 dashboard, though the instrument is very similar in speedometer.

And at Sochi airport, I still remember those in 1996 laughing, they hung for intercom in the parking lots of aircraft in ordinary telephone booths.

Previously, such hung in the shops of factories. Only for some reason the cable was driven into the shower hose.

No, not always a shower hose. This is one of the types of shielding and sealing "Stocking" for cables and wires.

In this case, it was from the shower, I recently changed this, exactly the same. The native "stocking" should be galvanized, not chrome plated.

Nice review, thanks! If anyone is in St. Petersburg, we have a similar museum of retro-mobiles in Zelenogorsk in the city recreation park. Poorer, of course, and smaller in size, but the cars are worth, and there is even a very successful replica of "Garford" - an armored car from the First World War. Also in Pereyaslavl there is a wonderful museum of the narrow-gauge railway. Half of them are locomotives and other railway equipment, half are cars, there are ZiSs, Dodge Three-Quarters, and FAI-M. In general, honor and respect for these people who, often out of sheer enthusiasm, begin to preserve and restore technology and open such museums. soldier

Eh ... Nostalgie. I learned to drive on Gaz-51. And it had five pedals. Three, plus a starter, plus a long-range one. And a box without synchronizers. Does anyone remember today what a double squeeze is?

Thank God, not in "Mov", but in Russian. For reference: Mova (rumor), a dialect, being translated into a letter, is proof that there is no such language, but there is a dialect, a dialect. Lukashesku, secretly sighing for the beautiful Grybauskaite and loans from a growing Europe, will never understand this. His cunning lives in a cap with a high crown, everything else in Lyaksandr Ryhoravich is low and base.

Once again, I’ll show my father’s motorcycle, Izh-Planet-2 of 1967, though the engine is non-native and the rear shock absorbers are spring. Would I pass it to such a museum or something? To survive. Father keeps it for some reason, I do not ride it.

I liked the tour. Only in the photo after the phone, the scooter is not a Tourist, but Vyatka (V.P. - 150), and below Ceset it is still not a motorcycle, but a scooter produced in Czechoslovakia.

With respect to the past, education differs from savagery (A.S. Pushkin).
But we have a ministry of culture!
