Will we continue to sit on a log, or is it time to jump already? To NATO exercises in the Baltic
Alas, but the majority answer will be wrong. The number of frogs on the log does not change. The one that decided to jump, did not take any action for this. The solution remained a solution.
Very often we make our decisions for action. It seems to us that we have already jumped. But in fact, we continue to sit on the log. And this problem is not only Russia. It seems to me that this is exactly what happened in Ukraine. Ukrainians also took their decision for action. From here and general disappointment maidan. Hence the collapse of the country. Hence the gap of the people apart.
Unlike us, NATO is "jumping." Does not decide to jump, but just jumps. Without looking at our reaction, without thinking about the consequences. They considered that they needed it, and did.
Today, June 6, in Poland, the most large-scale exercises that have ever been in Poland begin. And they are called quite menacingly - Anaconda. The practical part of the exercise begins on June 7.
According to ITAR-TASS: “According to the Ministry of Defense of Poland, a record number of states and soldiers will take part in Anakonda-16. 31 thousand soldiers from 24 countries, including 12 thousand from Poland, 10 thousand from The United States, about a thousand from Great Britain, 3 thousand units of military equipment, including Tanks and armored personnel carriers, more than a hundred aircraft and helicopters, as well as 12 ships. Maneuvers will take place at all Polish training grounds. "
Agree, really impressive. But every exercise has a goal. And it is precisely the goals of the exercises that interest us most. Experts will understand perfectly what and for what will be worked out.
“The purpose of the exercises is to strengthen the interaction of national and coalition commands and subdivisions within the framework of a united defensive operation in the conditions of the emergence of mixed threats,” the republic’s Defense Ministry reported.
"The Anakonda-16 scenario makes it possible to test the readiness of its participants to respond to the full range of threats identified in current conflicts, including responding to hybrid threats," the agency notes. In particular, the units will have to accomplish the tasks of tactical integration of commands and troops, fire control, medical evacuation, elimination of the consequences of using weapons mass destruction, the movement of troops over long distances. "
That is what we will see in the language of the military is called "combat coordination". National units and units will learn to fight together. And given the venue, a logical question arises - against whom? The answer is obvious.
NATO will hold not only the "Anaconda". In parallel, we will see other interesting teachings. "Sword strike" - the rapid movement of NATO combat units from the territory of Germany to Romania, Bulgaria, and the Baltic states. And we are no longer talking only about personnel. We are talking about the transfer of heavy armored vehicles and weapons.
The "quick response" is the rapid transfer of US troops from the United States to Poland, followed by the development of hostilities in the territory of this country and other countries in the region.
"Baltops" - landing of the sea landing on the Polish coast. With the participation of all the forces and means of the NATO Navy and aviation.
Of course, "Anaconda" - the traditional teachings. Today is the sixth in a row. But. It is too obvious that the direction of these exercises is not so much defensive as offensive. Agree, the transfer of large units to the borders of another state, the navy, the fleet off the coast of the likely enemy, and other "charms" speak eloquently enough about the mood in the NATO headquarters.
Naturally, to calm Russia, and most importantly, its own citizens, NATO generals make "peaceful" statements.
"These exercises are defensive in nature and should be a response to the threats of the modern world, to show how ready we are to interact with our allies and partners," says Republican Deputy Minister of Defense Bartlomie Grabsky.
I think that today many articles will be published on "military hysteria in the Russian media." Teachings need information support. Moreover, examples will be given of the "inadequate reaction of Russia" to the teachings. But the question is: what reaction is adequate in this case? Express "concern" or "deep regret" about?
It's time to learn from the Americans their pragmatic approach. With whom you will lead ... It's time to act and only so that it solves Russian problems. Our interests should be above all for us. Probably, it is time to abandon the manner of "taking into account the interests of the states of the region."
Well, if you have already started with a parable, then you will end with a parable. A sage was sitting near the city. And a passing traveler asked him about what kind of people live in this city. And in the city from which you are coming, what kind of people were there? The bad! Aggressive, evil ... Well, here you will meet the same. And after some time, another traveler asked the sage the same question. And in response, I heard that good-natured, happy people lived in another city. From which it was hard to leave. “Here they are the same,” the sage replied.
A beggar beside him chided a sage. Why do you answer different people differently? And in response, he heard: “Everyone carries his own world in his heart! The one who has not found anything good in those regions where he came from will not find anything here. On the contrary, he who had friends in another city will find friends here. ”
Today, those that came to our borders resemble the first traveler. Hence, they must meet exactly the same people as they are. Maybe it will help to become like the second? In our "city" everyone will get what they want.
