From the Northern Fleet, the Pamir rescue and tug boat, the Il-38 airplane and the Ka-27 search and rescue helicopter take part in the exercise. Also, the forces and means of a number of organizations are involved from the Russian side, including the border control of the FSB of Russia in the Murmansk region.
Norway is represented in the exercises by ships, ships and aircraft of the Coastal Administration, Coast Guard of the Navy and Air Force patrol aviation, as well as by other organizations. This year, the Barents maneuvers are led by the Northern Norway Rescue Coordination Center, and the exercises themselves take place in the Varangerfjord Bay area of the Barents Sea.
Barents are held in the Arctic annually. They are carried out in accordance with the Russian-Norwegian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the search for missing and rescue those in distress from 1995.

I think that Russian and Norwegian sailors, even without training, will always come to the rescue according to immutable maritime laws.
But you should not relax, because in these places, completely different exercises are held, far from the salvation theme.
