Azerbaijan’s military budget exceeds national budgets of Armenia and Georgia five timesAzerbaijan has set a record for the post-Soviet countries in the purchase of foreign weapons: Russia will supply the S-300 PMU-2 Favorit anti-aircraft missile system, vedomosti.ru reports. According to the report, last year the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan signed a contract with Rosoboronexport for the supply of two divisions of the S-300 PMU-2 Favorit anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). In Ukraine, MiG-29 fighters and armored vehicles were bought, in Israel - modern Spike anti-tank missiles, Drones and other weapon, in South Africa, Mi-24 attack helicopters have been modernized. Azerbaijan will soon receive the first two Mi-35M attack helicopters from Russia from the ordered batch of 24 aircraft from Russia. Helicopters will be equipped with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) 9K114 "Sturm-V" (AT-6 "Spiral") and unguided aviation missiles (NAR) S-8 caliber 80 mm and S-24 caliber 240 mm Helicopters will have one 9-A-629 machine gun of 12,7 mm caliber or two 9-A-622 machine guns of 7,62 mm caliber, as well as one 30-mm 9-A-800 grenade launcher. The helicopter can transport from 50 to 500 kg of aircraft bombs.

This year, Azerbaijan will begin production of 120 caliber mm mortars. Improved by Azerbaijani specialists, this weapon will be universal (capable of firing both shells and mines).

Azerbaijan has also begun mass production of AK-74M machines, APA news agency reported. Small arms are manufactured in the country under license from the Russian concern Izhmash. The machines are made for the armed forces of Azerbaijan under the name "Khazri" and have a number of differences from the Russian version of the weapon.

The Azerbaijani-made automaton differs from the Russian AK-74M by installing night-vision devices, laser guidance, lighting and sight sights. The appearance of the weapon has also undergone a number of changes. At the same time, the mass of the Khazri, which was made chambered for the 5,45 caliber of a millimeter, has not changed compared with the AK-74M. The armed forces will receive heavy domestic sniper rifles ST-14.5mm Istiglal. The priority objectives of the sniper rifle may be cars, airplanes and helicopters in parking lots, communications equipment, fuel storage facilities, against which 20-mm projectiles are particularly effective. 14,5-mm cartridges are used for firing at targets more secure, such as armored personnel carriers or fortifications, or kontrsnayperskoy shooting at long range (about 3 km) .TTH Istiglal: 14,5h114 mm caliber (or 20 mm) Curb weight - 29 kg, total length - 2015 mm, barrel length - 1220 mm, maximum firing range - 2500-3000 m, magazine capacity - 3 or 10 cartridges, initial bullet speed (14,5 mm) - 1060 m / s.

As I suppose, Azerbaijan is preparing to resolve the Karabakh conflict and obviously not in a peaceful way.

It is quite possible, although such an argument would not be superfluous in diplomatic games.

They won’t succeed, the warriors of them are very, very bad, they’re the bargain people. The Armenians even shatter them without such weapons, all this has already passed ...

That's right in the SA, both of them served in my team, and so of the "Azeri" warriors, those are still absolutely not trained and not controlled by him only to serve in the construction battalion, you can't trust a weapon like giving a monkey a grenade. Armenians made excellent soldiers and officers.

And for some reason, in our SA it was the other way around: the Armenians robbed German goods under the command of compatriots ensigns, and the Azerbaijanis honestly served, they fired excellently from tanks, etc. So once at a time it is not necessary, it is not necessary to generalize.

I myself would also say that I often listened to how many Russians fear about..s. What a warrior. Armenians have a betrayal of blood. Look, dear Rosiyani, so that later they would not stab you in the back ...

You yourself admit that during the USSR they didn’t give weapons to the Azeris, therefore they were inexperienced and 22 years have already passed, we now have much more experienced officers than in Armenia

Are you completely foolish? Azerbaijan will shower Armenia with hats, but even unused ones will remain. The main thing is that under the distribution even Russian bases would not fall.

Azerbaijan is not a poor country, why on earth will it spend as those who are poorer?
The issue of Karabakh is complex and it’s unrealistic to render support to someone, the Armenians are legally wrong, historically everything is fine with both of them, war cannot be allowed. Probably, Karabakh should be a federal unit with broad powers under the constitution but with de facto sovereignty so that Azerbaijan does not lose face.
Azerbaijan will not be able to control the territory inhabited by Armenians without having carried out genocide there, and genocide is now out of fashion

People are creating fashion, and whoever said that they were not in fashion was very fashionable not long ago. Recall Yugoslavia, Karabakh (Khojaly), etc.

You read a story whose earth is this. And at the expense of the Karabakh people, who were armed from head to toe thanks to the sovereign power. Which preliminarily collected even hunting rifles from Azerbaijanis.

the author writes nonsense. read it:
14.5 rifle is especially effective where 20.mm shells are more effective
