Azerbaijan has also begun mass production of AK-74M machines, APA news agency reported. Small arms are manufactured in the country under license from the Russian concern Izhmash. The machines are made for the armed forces of Azerbaijan under the name "Khazri" and have a number of differences from the Russian version of the weapon.

The Azerbaijani-made automaton differs from the Russian AK-74M by installing night-vision devices, laser guidance, lighting and sight sights.
