The state enterprise Lviv State Plant "LORTA" presented the LVN-30 automatic cannon at the 30-mm military exhibition held in Lviv, reports the Defense Ministry of Ukraine newspaper People's Army.

Ukraine has created another analogue of the Russian 30-mm gun

As the deputy chief engineer of the plant, Dmitry Kuzminsky, noted, the sample presented is "a complete analog of the Soviet / Russian 30-mm automatic 2A42 cannon."

According to him, “the gun is designed to hit lightly armored targets at distances up to 1500 meters, enemy manpower - up to 4 kilometers, aerial targets with subsonic speeds - at altitudes up to 2000 m.”

“Our gun has successfully passed state tests. It can be installed on various types of light armored vehicles - BMP-2, BMD-2, BMD-3, BTR-80, BTR-90, BTR-4, ”said Kuzminsky.

According to the bmpd blog, the 30-mm 2А42 gun is already being produced in Ukraine at the SE "Scientific and Technical Complex" Plant of Precise Mechanics "(ZTM, Kamenets-Podolsky) under the designation ZTM-2.

Ukraine has created another analogue of the Russian 30-mm gun
Ukroboronprom continues to live "the past life" by releasing or trying to improve (sometimes worsen and simplify) still Soviet products. Here's another example: The Vepr assault rifle was created at the Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center for Precision Engineering to replace the Kalashnikov assault rifles - AKM and AK-74, which are in service with the Ukrainian army. Vepr is nothing more than a banal clone of AK-74, assembled according to the bullpup scheme, like the Russian OTs-14 Groza rifle-grenade launcher system. By design, it is no different from AK, with the exception of small details

At least this automation was preserved after the Ukrainian "engineers". And here is what they portrayed with AK, making it their own "Hopak" - that's where the horror is.

Military production is purposefully transferred or organized in the Lviv region, even despite existing similar ones in other regions. Aircraft repair, repair of armored vehicles, production of riflemen, like going to organize the production of ammunition. Preparing for a possible partition of the country?

Because Ukraine is an indicator of idiocy, these are jokes materialized in the real world. I never thought that this was possible. The most important thing. that the majority in Ukraine (mainly in the west), believe that everything is fine. The attitude is different. They don’t give a damn to the western inhabitants, they laugh in Russia, for me it’s all very tragic, and it’s still not known how it will end. Probably nothing good.

To move production, huge investments are needed, which Ukraine cannot afford. What is left of the "bloody scoop" is used. And there are still a lot of rembases, small and large factories, and other things. What they did not destroy, then they try to take in as an achievement. I don’t know how they will do something in the Lviv region. In the industrial regions, there are almost no specialists left, new ones have not been raised, and in the Lviv region they were not born in their birth. As for the section, as they say, we'll take a look.

To the Soviet counterpart to them as to China cancer.
Interestingly, this development is also "oppression and awe" when shooting ???? Do you also need a casing to stabilize the barrel?
What about wear? As far as I know, ukrov is strained with weapons steel ...... the conclusion suggests itself-another volition, smoothly turning into zrada
