Moscow students undergo military training
“The life of modern Russian society today sets very serious tasks in the field of education and training of the new generation. Every year in May, students of 10 classes of the Moscow school №1391 go to 5-day training camps in a military unit to prepare for the difficult conditions of recruitment or the military department. The goal of such a program is not only the training of future recruits or cadets, but also the education of self-confident and motivated young men.
“No one has yet canceled military duty,” says Vladislav. - And very often the young men are psychologically and physically unprepared for military life. We do not set goals to put everyone under the gun. It is important for us that our students are ready for any challenges. And fighting skills, general self-reliance, which we are trying to cultivate here, will be useful both in science and in business, in any career trajectory ”.
During the training, school students study the placement and life of military personnel, the organization of guard and internal services, elements of combat, fire, tactical, physical and military medical training, as well as issues of radiation, chemical and biological protection of troops.
This year, training camps were held at the base of formations and military units of the Western Military District. Organization of training from small weapons It was held under the control of army officers who conducted demonstrations for pupils, and training sessions not related to the execution of shooting exercises were conducted by teachers who provided primary school students with knowledge of defense.
“In the work of our school, one of the main tasks is to educate the younger generation,” continues Fedorov. - And the main component of the process of education is the formation and development of patriotic feelings.
