In Polish, Szczecin intend to dismantle the monument to the Gratitude of the Red Army

Voted for 23 board member, against - 3.

“The majority of voters represent the ruling party in Poland, Law and Justice (ZiS), as well as the largest opposition party, Civic Platform,” the agency explains.

“Both of these parties are radically right, they do not respect the thousands of Soviet and Polish soldiers who died on the battle road from Elblлонg to Szczecin,” said David Kristek, a member of the City Council, who voted against.

In his opinion, “the adopted resolution cannot enter into force”. “Without Russia's consent, the mayor will not touch this monument,” Krystek believes.

Naturally, those who voted for the demolition of the monument, think differently.

As ZiS representative Marek Duklanovsky noted, “the decision to demolish the monument was made because of concern for the public space, as well as in response to the expectations of local residents.”

And in general, “The Red Army has not liberated us,” he says.

According to the decision, the monument should be dismantled next year, and what will happen to it next is unknown.

“The possibility of its transfer to the central cemetery or to some other place in the republic, where they will collect monuments of this type, is being considered,” explained Duklanovsky.

The newspaper reminds that a monument in the center of Szczecin was erected at 1950 in honor of Soviet soldiers who liberated the cities of West Pomerania.

"And in general," The Red Army did not free us, "he says.

That's it. negative It was necessary to liberate Poland, as the Germans' allies taught by the example of Dresden, otherwise Krakow was saved if it was wrong.

There are normal people among the Poles, with respect and gratitude
related to the memory of our grandfathers who died for the liberation of Poland,
but there are scoundrels mocking at monuments and graves.
Does it never occur to them that they might not appear at all
into the world, if not for the Soviet army ???
Nothing - in this world, or that, every such scoundrel will get his own, sooner or later.

The mayor, strangely enough, is right: the Red Army did not release them (there didn’t smell of Poles there), the Red Army stormed the Prussian city of Shettin

And even if they later prove that the Great Ukrainians have taken the Swedes away from the Germans from them. The main thing is that they got it already and the next time, when the general people resettled the refugees from the Levant, they will not rename him from Al Shetseni. bully

Young Poles already believe that the Americans saved and liberated Krakow! And the Russians attribute their victories to themselves. That's what children are taught there. Sad

Personally, I offer an ultimatum. If they continue to demolish the monuments to our soldiers - let them demolish. But then we demolish the memorial in Katyn, asphalt and make parking there. Sound this type unofficially but by someone known.

There is such a wonderful person in Russia - Vladimir Volfovich.

In general, the Poles play out, oh, play out. Before World War II they’ve played enough, but they’re not learning anything.

The mayor, strangely enough, is right: the Red Army did not release them (there didn’t smell of Poles there), the Red Army stormed Prussian city of Shettin (and not Szczecin), which then passed to Poland. Which staged the genocide of the indigenous German population and settled it by Polish immigrants from our Western Ruin and Belarus, as well as Bandera from Southeast Poland. Now, I think, the contingent is clear, consisting of the descendants of any offended suffered, mortally hating everything Russian.

A question for Putin and the government ... How long are we, patience? We must move from regret to threats, and then to action. The memorial in Smolensk (Katyn, the Catholic part) under a bulldozer! And do not here .. Let's say we will not be likened ..And let’s be! Be firm and unquestioning!

Well, the Poles are preparing a repeat of the 39th. In his 30s book on the impending war, Sikorsky, the future head of government in exile, warned of danger from the Germans. Only the victims of the Red Army saved these ambitional lords from the role of subhuman in the Third Reich. For the entire Second World War, they were enough only, with the exception of the Polish Army, for small-colonial military operations in North Africa with a further landing in Italy and a provocative uprising in Warsaw in 1944, designed again for the power of the Red Army. When they tried to ransack in 45 after the war, their last units of the Craiova Army surrendered in half a battle with all the giblets in the August forest.

We need (in relation to the Poles) - not to lisp (try to explain to them on good terms or to make excuses for something we did not do (Katyn), and take an example from the Germans (Wehrmacht) - the Poles just got overwhelmed (they raised the Warsaw Uprising in 1944) - in order to confront the Red Army with a fact (we say we were free without you)) - how the Germans brutally suppressed the whole thing and Drowned the Poles (the Home Army) in their own blood, razing Warsaw to the ground (otherwise we all somehow Softly - we treat the Poles, but we need to act Extremely Hard and Decisively (like the Germans) (then there will be no questions about the "demolition of the Monuments of Gratitude" (in the future))

The city of Szczecin, former German Stettin, was taken on April 26, 1945 by the troops of the 65th Army of General P. Batov and subsequently transferred to Poland. The conclusion to this article is the same for some citizens of Poland.
