31
The Latvian Internet provider ProNets offered generous discounts to World War II veterans who fought on the side of the Red Army and the Waffen SS legion. To do this, veterans from both sides must come to the office and together make a check-in, transfers RIA News.
On an advertisement poster, the provider placed the SS soldiers against the background of the swastika, the Soviet order and the St. George ribbon.
A year of free internet is the price of reconciliation for veterans. The ad text says:
“In connection with the May holidays, we announce a rally for peace and cohesion! Give one year of free internet to those veterans who visit us on 9 May and make a Check-in. The main condition is that a veteran from the Latvian Legion and a veteran of the Soviet army must come to the office together. Children and grandchildren of veterans can feel free to help their families master new technologies! Let's support the world! ”
The ad appeared on Facebook and was immediately overgrown with negative reviews. Most users condemned the authors of advertising.
