How the Cossacks dismantled the name of Lenin and "Heroic Youth" ...

On the eve of the next stage of the so-called decommunization manifested itself in Ukraine. In Zaporizhia, the covenants of the Maidan authorities of Ukraine to dismantle the letters from the DneproHES dam, indicating that the largest electricity generating facility is named after Lenin, were translated into reality. Informational portal "News of Zaporozhye" reports that the industrial mountaineers embarked on the process of “de-communization” of the dam, which was shot down by “politically incorrect” letters.
Concrete letters were crumbled with a jackhammer and cut with a grinder.
Bitter irony for Ukraine is not so much the fact that the demolition of monuments and the dismantling of monuments is the only promise of the Maidan authorities that they furiously carry out, but that the DnieproGES is one of those large-scale projects implemented "in Ukraine" not without Lenin's initiative. . We are talking about the State Commission for Electrification, which was created by Ilyich, whose name they are trying so hard to erase from the Ukrainian stories.
Just a few days earlier, another monument of the Soviet era was dismantled in Zaporozhye - “Anxious (heroic) youth.”
At the same time, the mayor of the city said that projects were being approved on which monument would be installed in the vacant space. In Zaporozhye, local residents offered the mayor not to stop there and dismantle houses, theaters and schools, because most of them were built during Soviet times, and also to destroy the DnieproGES with a jackhammer, as the dead economy does not need electricity in such quantities.
