State Department Condemns Sale of Russian C-300 to Tehran

65
The State Department has seen reports on the sale by Moscow to the Iranian military department of the C-300 complexes and objects to this deal, reports RIA News statement by the representative of the Office of John Kirby.

“Certainly, we have seen the messages about the deal. In the past, we have repeatedly expressed our disagreement with any sales of C-300 to Iran, and the Secretary of State (USA John Kerry) repeatedly raised this issue in personal conversations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. We will follow the development of events ",
said at the Kirby briefing.

When asked whether this deal violates Iran’s restrictions on relations, Kirby found it difficult to answer.

The agency recalls that recently the Iranian authorities "demonstrated elements of the C-300 anti-aircraft missile systems received from the Russian Federation at a military parade in Tehran on the occasion of the celebration of the National Army Day."

By the way, not quite in the subject, but to complete the picture about super-warriors ...

Actually recorded conversation between Spaniards and Americans on the frequency of "Extreme situations at sea" of the navigation channel 106 in the Strait of Finisterra (Galicia). 16 October 1997

Spaniards: (background noise) ... says A-853, please turn 15 degrees south to avoid a collision with us. You are moving directly at us, a distance of 25 nautical miles.

Americans: (background noise) ... we advise you to turn 15 degrees north to avoid a collision with us.

Spaniards: The answer is no. Repeat, turn 15 degrees south into
      collision avoidance.

Americans (other voice): The captain of the ship of the United States of America speaks to you. Turn 15 degrees north to avoid a collision.

Spaniards: We do not consider your proposal either possible or adequate; we advise you to turn south by 15 degrees so as not to crash into us.

Americans (in elevated tones): CAPTAIN RICHARD JAMES HOWARD SAYS WITH YOU, COMMANDER OF THE USS LINCOLN AIRCRAFT, Navy OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, SECOND LARGE OF THE SHIP. We are escorted by 2 cruisers, 6 destroyers, 4 submarines and numerous support ships. I DO NOT "ADVISE" YOU, I "ORDER" TO CHANGE YOUR COURSE FOR 15 DEGREES IN THE NORTH. OTHERWISE, WE WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE THE NECESSARY MEASURES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR SHIP. PLEASE IMMEDIATELY REMOVE OUR COURSE !!!!

Spaniards :: This is Juan Manuel Salas Alcantara speaking to you. We are 2 people. We are accompanied by our dog, dinner, 2 bottles of beer and a canary who is now asleep. We are supported by the radio station "Cadena Dial de La Coruna" and channel 106 "Extreme situations at sea". We are not going to turn anywhere, given that we are on land and are the A-853 lighthouse of the Finisterre strait on the Galician coast of Spain. We have not the slightest idea what place we occupy in size among the Spanish lighthouses. You can take whatever fucking steps you think are necessary and do whatever you want to ensure the safety of your fucking ship, which will crash to smithereens on the rocks. Therefore, once again we strongly recommend that you
do the most meaningful thing: change your course to 15 degrees south to avoid a collision.

      Americans: Ok, accepted, thanks.

Although it is a button accordion, it turned out to be interesting to search the Internet for where it came from initially. Found: http://forum.sadov.com/thread-899.html. This is an old bike. The most interesting is an illustration of how the media began to influence public life in the last 3 decades. At first this case was published by the yellow American press, then it was picked up by the “petty” one. As a result, employees of the press service of the Atlantic Fleet of the US Navy were forced to issue official denials several times a month, before that they contacted the aforementioned (each time different) ships.

The State Department is gaining an "information tone", that is, the number of references to the sale of weapons by Russia to some countries. At the same time, the US only lets out pacifist news about itself. The man in the street, what we have, what is there, is easily zombified. Therefore, the State Department, the Pentagon and all sorts of Amnesty, as "independent non-profit organizations" create such an information environment. This is an old propaganda trick.

Since when has the State Department been involved in trade between two sovereign states. And why did he "suddenly" worry about the appearance of a normal air defense system over Iran? Probably because now they will not simply point out to Iran about "bad" behavior and threaten with punishment.

there was a war between Iran on the one hand, and Israel on the other,
That is the root of evil. The pro-Israeli lobby has revolted.
The fact is that Israel, by all means, decided to bomb the Iranian nuclear center. In response, the Iranians carried the enrichment over the territory and buried centrifuges underground. In words, Tehran abandoned its nuclear program ... But in reality? The Israelis are sooooo doubtful. And one must not think without reason.
Therefore, the S-300 stood in Tel Aviv with a bone in the throat. 4 divisions is not enough, but it is enough to cover a specific object ... So, the states understand: you need to protect your favorite lapdog! otherwise there will be no one to "nightmare" BV.

Israel can now make a very beautiful move. While the complex has not been delivered all, and is not put on combat duty, they may try to bomb it. And if they burn out, they will kill immediately a brood of hares. They take away their sworn friend’s air defense, you can shout at any angle that the S-300 sucks, and accordingly tell everyone that the Israeli Air Force is the most air force in the world.
True, a couple of factors are not excluded: 1. The complex has already been deployed, "but is silent" 2. After the attempted raid, testing of the Israeli missile defense system will begin in real mode.

I am constantly confused by the question that I ask myself: "Is Iran our friend or enemy?" ...

It is rather difficult to answer it, taking into account various historical facts ... But not an enemy (at the present stage) - that's for sure ...

In light of recent events (especially considering how Russia received these S-300s a little earlier), the sale of these systems to Iran is beneficial for us from different perspectives ...

The first one is that the S-300 is like a needle, which should pull subsequent orders ...
The second - naturally, establishing good neighborly relations with Iran ...
The third is, first of all, to the peak of the so worried and worrying State Department, which cannot understand in any way that Russia does not listen to its instructions and does not need them ...
