SPN "Globus"
The war in the south-east of Ukraine gave rise to many new phenomena that we did not know before 2014, for example, such a phenomenon as various divisions that are supported by some political groups for which the support of these divisions is one type of public relations. On the one hand, it is clear that really ideological people fighting for the Russian world are fighting in these divisions, on the other hand, PR on blood is not the best way to earn political dividends. I will not give the names of these divisions, they always declare themselves. But it will not be about those who have found a “sponsor”, but who took part in them from the very beginning of the events in the Southeast, and now, for some reason, being unnecessary to the LDNR army, it continues to engage in public activities and engaged in the patriotic education of young people in the young republics. It seems to me that people need to know not only "rastiarennyh" heroes.
My story about one of these units with the guys with whom I had the honor to be familiar - SpN "Globus". Naturally, as a combat unit, this detachment was created after the start of hostilities, but some of its members took direct part in the events preceding them. Some fighters of this unit are members of the public organization “Union of the Strong-Spirit”, therefore, part of the story is dedicated to them. From November to December 2013, they fought against the ideas of Euromaidan: they pasted flyers, organized rallies, when there was a threat of physical clashes with militants, they began to form and train groups for active resistance. Some members of these groups participated in the defense of Slavyansk. At the same time, propaganda work was conducted among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, thanks to the well-established relations with military personnel of 25 AMB had the opportunity to obtain information on the movement of the National Guard. Thanks to this information, one of the National Guard patrols was destroyed.
In May, the 2014 of the year, on the instructions of Denis Pushilin, in Makeyevka, a training center was established on the basis of the UGSO "Titan". The cadets of this training center subsequently took an active part in the battles for the Donetsk airport. At the same time, work was carried out on the creation of an intelligence-intelligence network on the territory of the Donetsk region, controlled by the National Guard and the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the same period, members of the Union of Strong Spirits organization conducted agitational work, as a result of which a referendum on self-determination of the DPR was successfully held in the city of Khartsyzsk.
In June, 2014, through the merger of a unit based on the Putilov Bridge, commanded by Grek, and a unit of the Union of the Strong Spirit, was created by SPO. "Globus" Then began the active training of fighters. At the same time, forces of the unit carried out the evacuation of civilians and wounded soldiers through the territories controlled by the militants and parts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During one of these flights, the APU patrol car was destroyed. The unit also took an active part in the battles for the Donetsk airport, Elenovka, and the Prophet, engaged in intelligence gathering. During one of these attacks, the unit commander directly destroyed the 4 of the APU fighter. The previous commander of the “Grek” detachment also took an active part in the battles.
Of course, it may be said that everything went smoothly, but this is an illusion. What was the cost of night shelling, when the group moved to Slavyansk to support the local militia! To me, a person far from war, the state of a person is poorly represented when shooting is fired from everywhere and in the dark. I can say with confidence only one thing: beautiful poses and patriotic speeches in such moments are only in the movies.
Not always everything was going according to plan, such as the battle under Amvrosiivka with the National Guard under the militants, when the group went to negotiate at the 25 AMB. Although the clash was unexpected, the militants were less fortunate.
