In Ukraine, a scandal erupted, which, it would seem, nothing foreshadowed. Last weekend a musical festival of military orchestras took place in Odessa. The festival "Spring Odessa" was attended by such musical groups as the orchestra of the National Police, the orchestra of the Military Academy, the orchestra of the Ukrainian Navy, the orchestra of the musical theater, as well as the military musical collective of the National Guard of Ukraine №3012. The musicians of the National Guard were played by the melody of the song "Exhibit" ("Labuteni") of the Russian group "Leningrad".
The event took place on Dumskaya Square, and the performance caused a storm of applause from the audience gathered at the festival.
Just a few hours after the publication of this video on the network, the so-called “Ukrainian activists” started talking about “their outrage”. The Ukrainian musician Oleg Skrypka considers himself to be one of those, saying that the orchestra of the National Guard of Ukraine cannot perform such compositions, since “the text of the song contains mate”. What about music? ..
Officials called on the leadership of the National Guard under Ukraine to "carefully approach the selection of repertoire for their creative teams." Apparently, after such a performance, which in Odessa was called “noble trolling,” the National Guard leadership will also deal with the approval of tunes for the brass band of the military unit No. XXUMX with an eye to “greater patriotism and Ukrainian identity” ...
