In Primorye, the Clerk will hold a bilateral exercise with subunits of the Pacific Fleet and the All-Armed Forces Military Command Brigade, the press service reports. Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"During the battalion tactical exercises, the marines will work out the tasks of breaking through the antiamphibious defense of a conditional enemy, the role of which will be performed by the combined army units and delivering simultaneous strikes on the defensive forces from the sea, air and shore," the release said.
During the first episode of the exercises, an airborne landing force from AN-26 maritime aircraft will be landed aviation.
“Then on the coastline with the help of high-speed amphibious assault boats and a Mi-8 helicopter will be landed by a detachment of engineering units of the Marine Corps. At the same time, the Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter will be attacked by a conventional enemy, ”the press service said.
It is reported that "the landing of the main forces of the naval assault on the unequipped coast will be carried out by large landing ships."
In total, the event will involve about a thousand military personnel, more than 80 units of equipment, 10 ships, as well as helicopters and transport aircraft.
