On the territory of the Stavropol Territory, battalion tactical exercises of units of a separate motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Military District, deployed in the Chechen Republic, started. According to the battalion tactical exercises, servicemen of the motorized rifle brigade were alerted and made a march (about 100 km) to a predetermined area, where they blocked and neutralized illegal armed formations of a conditional enemy.
In total, more than 500 military personnel and about 2 hundred different types of military equipment, including 2S1 “Gvozdika” self-propelled guns, are involved in tactical battalion exercises. Tanks T-72B3, Grad MLRS, anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.
During the exercise, motorized rifle subunits will work out maneuvering and firing actions to destroy conditional terrorist groups. One of the directions of maneuvers is the neutralization of the gang in the conditions of the settlement.
