Nurgaliyev: any actions that do not comply with the law will be stopped

Rashid Nurgaliyev (the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia) said that the order was given to the police to stop all attempts to conduct illegal actions in the Russian Federation.
At a meeting of the headquarters to ensure order, on Friday, Nurgaliyev said: "Any attempt to conduct illegal activities, as well as violations of the order, must be stopped by police officers in accordance with the law, and all those responsible are held accountable."

It is known that in Russia since December 5 numerous protests are held over the elections to the State Duma. On Monday, in the capital, in the Chistye Prudy area, a rally (authorized) was held by the opposition against electoral fraud. The demonstration ended with a march (unauthorized) in the direction of Lubyanka, as a result of which they detained about 300 people. The next day (Tuesday), the opposition organized another unauthorized rally in the area of Triumfalnaya Square. According to the data obtained, almost 300 people were detained.
It is worth noting that on Saturday (December 10), in the center of the capital, a planned large-scale rally was held with the participation of citizens who disagree with the results of the elections to the State Duma.
