Every whim for your money. Iran is a normal ally and is willing to pay. And, if all of a sudden, these helicopters manifest themselves destroying the spirits in Syria, so I do not mind at all. Totally agree!

We do not purchase for our own needs, but supply others. (((We apparently do not need an air ambulance. And Rosneft buys Italian helicopters and we all obviously have to pay for this by capitalizing the company. (((

You can minus, but I state the facts. Iranians are very difficult negotiators and selling them something is very difficult. For 20 years, they have learned to count on themselves and to suck in something to them simply because at one time we Westerners sucked in the Mistral will not succeed. Thank God, a smart man in the Moscow Region came and got rid of dependence on Westerners, otherwise the half of the budget of the Moscow Region would now be spent on Mistral MOT. (((

Now Iran has lifted financial restrictions, unlocked from various sources from 40 to 100 billion greens, why do they need Russian helicopters?
They have already announced contracts for 100 Boeing and 100 Airbus aircraft, this is not our Superjet and why they will start buying our helicopters when they have any opportunities, now manufacturers are in line in Iran.
If Iran will buy from us, then only that the West will not sell it to him under any sauce. These are air defense systems, military aircraft, missiles and radars, but no more, they have already looked at everything else in the west

Now they are needed, but according to the negotiators, the Iranians require blueprints and design documentation, as well as 95% localization on their territory and technology transfer. How much do you think they will still be ordering from us after all the conditions are met. They do not necessarily have the S-400. They will clone the S-300 and clog the air defense market with these clones. After all, those who can afford the S-400 are not so many, the rest are not pulled by finances.

    The good news

I think everyone will agree. that those helicopters. that the poor Iranians themselves "riveted" out of despair because of the sanctions - arouse respect. that Iran does not give up and is trying to do something by itself

But of course it is better for them to buy Kazan. There is a lot of publication - it seems Iran has seriously decided to purchase in Russia not only C-300 - but many, many more

And the railroad, by the way, was recently commissioned with us, not only for Kazakhstan wheat, but also communications with China and Russia - it looks like the trains will go on without stops

Of course, it’s better to buy ours, because the level of technology in them is much higher than in Iran which they are doing now and even in scanty amounts using the solutions embedded in the ancient Bell 206.

Better yet, then purchase a license to produce the Ansat at home.

The Iranians were already burned on Western military equipment when they were imposed sanctions (like us too) and left without components for it, now they will be smarter and choose reliable suppliers. It would be nice for us to have such helicopters ourselves, and the more orders, the lower the cost.

Everything is complicated there with Superjets - firstly, Iran needs them as soon as possible, but we cannot produce the required quantity on time, since production is already loaded with orders
secondly, as they say it’s not yet evening, Iran needs more than 400 short and medium-haul aircraft and the superjet has chances.

Earlier this year there was such information, but the implementation of this project is not yet clear, since we cannot sell offensive weapons to Iran and these helicopters can only be delivered in civilian modifications.
Iran is going to buy one hundred multi-purpose Russian Mi-17 helicopters
Iranian authorities began negotiations with the Russian side on the possible supply of about a hundred new multi-purpose helicopters.
Iranian leadership plans to acquire new Russian multi-role helicopters of the Mi-17 type to equip the national armed forces and internal security services. The issue of partial localization of the production of helicopters on the territory of Iran itself from car kits supplied from Russia is also being considered.

So, they will deliver according to civil specifications, there will be no difficulties with engines. I suppose that the Europeans will try something else additionally, there is equipment for a medcopter, etc.

There are no sanctions about civilian aircraft and all sorts of specials for departments - the police, rescuers, medicine, no!

Moreover, most likely Ansatu will compete in a tender with Eurocopter 145, which in a large series flies to 12 countries in a medical configuration.

I am very interested to see how the Iranians will rivet high-tech products. In the field of aviation and weapons, only eight to nine countries are capable of this, which determines the general intelligence of the nation. Iran is not included in this circle. The most he can do is trade in oil. India also buys aircraft with the condition of technology transfer. And what, produce produce, though the quality is terrible.
