The report says that the US military together with the Lithuanian will take part in the exercises.
In a press release from the US defense department, it is reported that military equipment was also supplied to Lithuania. We are talking about towed howitzers M777, as well as military trucks and SUVs.
RIA News, referring to the US military department, writes that the US military personnel arrives in Lithuania from Germany, where the third division of the US Ground Forces is located.
The teachings of the Lithuanian and American soldiers will be held in Klaipeda. From the side of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, a unit with a loud name will take part in the exercises: the Dragoon training battalion named after Grand Duke Boutigheidis.
The US military mission in Lithuania settled permanently in 2014. Since then, rotational events and joint training exercises have been held every few months.
