Kurdish militia launched an assault on a strategically important city in northern Syria

RIA News With reference to Syrian sources, he writes that Kurdish armed forces are storming the positions of militants of the Front al-Nusra in the area of the city of Tel Rifhaat. This settlement is located in the north of Syria and is of strategic importance, as the road from Turkey passes through it. Tel Rifaat itself is located about two dozen kilometers from the Syrian-Turkish border.
Kurdish fighters began storming the city of Tel Rifaat from the north. There is one of the largest strongholds of the Djabhat en Nusra terrorists. The city is of strategic importance, it is located on the highway leading from Turkey.
Against this background, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu once again stated that Turkey will continue to "help the brothers in Aleppo." If we consider that the main assistance to Turkey is aimed at supporting the militants "Dzhebhat al-Nusra" and its allied groups, then it can be stated that Ankara's "help" only leads to new blood. Ankara, by the way, calls such assistance “humanitarian”.
Davutoglu again accused Russia of "barbaric bombing." According to him, the actions of the VKS of the Russian Federation lead to the fact that thousands of refugees "are forced to leave their homes." It is strange that Mr. Davutoglu was silent about the flow of refugees when Russian planes had not yet started the operation, although hundreds of thousands of Syrians, fleeing from the arbitrariness of the militants, were already walking in chains to Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and were sent to the EU countries.
