But maybe we’ll be alerted by the new terrorist attack aboard A321, which February 2 flew from Mogadishu (the capital of Somalia) to Djibouti with 60 passengers on board, including crew members. Only one person died, the others were saved by a fluke - the plane did not reach a great height, and the consequences of the explosion were local, which allowed the pilot to land the car.
All this suggests that the IG - not just a gang of bandits. This is a monster, created at the time by the hands of the United States, but out of control of the owner. This monster has an extensive network of cells and agents around the world, prepared by suicide bombers, streamlined financing channels, supply weapons... As confirmed by the protracted battles in Syria, the ongoing terrorist attacks. So, the fight with the monster will be long and bloody, which should be remembered by our fellow citizens.
In this regard, let me remind you that in March 10 years of the federal law “On Countering Terrorism” (adopted by 6 in March on 2006 in December, and in the latest edition - in 31 in December of 2014) is executed. He established the basic principles of counteracting this evil, the legal and organizational basis for preventing and combating it, minimizing and / or eliminating the consequences of its manifestations, as well as the conditions for use in counter-terrorist operations of the Armed Forces of the country. The law first defines terrorism as a phenomenon. Terrorism is understood as “the ideology of violence and the practice of influencing decision-making by the authorities ...”
This “split” view of the phenomenon under consideration allowed us to formulate state responses in a different way, namely, to consider the fight against terrorism as part of a wider system of measures to counter it.
Thanks largely to this law and the measures taken, Russia managed to practically localize terrorism in the North Caucasus, although some of its manifestations, in particular in Dagestan, remain. And this means that in no case should we calm down and relax in the struggle against this many-headed hydra, be fully armed.
