Sevmash - navy forge

30
According to the state armament program before 2020, the Sevmash plant turned out to be one of several factories loaded with government orders at full capacity.

In addition to orders already voiced, which are already being produced at the plant, the creation of the Borey-A and Yasen-M nuclear submarines will begin in 2012. Another possible construction of diesel submarines "Amur-1650", which may soon be purchased by India. “Cupids” will carry on themselves “Brahmos”, which are a joint development of Indian and Russian designers. The rocket is based on the export version of the domestic P-800 Onyx rocket - the Alliance.

Sevmash - we are already building Borey-A

In fact, work on the construction of the modernized Borey-A at the plant has already begun, the General Director of Sevmash, A. Dyachkov, informs. This will be the fourth submarine of the Borey-A series. 80 percent of the hull of the submarine has already been assembled on the stocks, and they promise to collect 2011 percent of the hull by the end of 100, before the end of the year.

And all this is done by the plant before the start of the contract for the construction of this ship.

At this time, the plant successfully completes the Borey-Alexander Nevsky and Vladimir Monomakh series, while the Yuri Dolgoruky conducts various tests of the Bulava missiles, which will arm all Borey-series submarines. In total, the 8 submarines "Borey-A" and "Borey" will be put into operation.

Sevmash - navy forge

Brief characteristics:
- Designer - St. Petersburg "Rubin";
- armament - 16 PU launcher "Bulava";
- additional equipment - a rescue chamber accommodating the entire crew.
- length - 170 meters;
- width - 13.5 meters;
- maximum immersion depth - 450 meters;
- crew - 107 people

Modernized submarines "Ash"

Modernized submarines "Yasen-M" will allow Russia to maintain leadership in the segment of submarines capable of destroying heavy surface ships. It is planned to create five such submarines.

Brief characteristics:
- displacement - up to 13.8 thousand tons;
- length - 120 meters;
- width - 13.5 meters;
- height - 9.5 meter;
- maximum immersion depth - 600 meters;
- speed - up to the node 31;
- crew - 90 people.

Severodvinsk, the first submarine of this project, will come off the stocks in 2012 year. Although the submarine was supposed to go out to sea this year, but, according to the General Director of Sevmash, this became impossible due to the poor quality parts obtained to complete the construction of Severodvinsk and the installation of the missile system, which did not pass the state test.
Hope for a quick successful completion of the testing of the Caliber missiles - the latest rocket, which will become the armament of submarines of this series.
The General Director of Sevmash also announced that the profit from the production of submarines would be no more than 12 percent, which affected the standing orders.

Indian diesel "Amur"

In the middle of next year, a tender will be held for the construction of diesel submarines for the Indian Navy. At the tender, the plant will present the "Amur-1650" with improved combat performance. Sevmash continues to refine the boat, having already placed launchers for vertical execution of the BrahMos missiles in it. This refinement will make it possible to launch a salvo missile strike at enemy surface ships. As the designers of TsSKB "Rubin" assure, they managed to significantly reduce the noise threshold of the Amur submarine turbine engine, in addition, they will be equipped with modern radio-electronic equipment and weapons. The project is equipped with an automated control system, technical and combat units. The submarine is equipped with a new multi-mode rowing engine and battery pack with extended service life.

Brief characteristics:
- displacement - 1.8 thousand tons;
- length - 67 meters;
- width - 7 meters;
- underwater speed - up to the 21 node;
- autonomous navigation duration - 1.5 of the month;
- crew - 35 people.
Not only Russia will take part in the tender. Spain, Germany and France want to participate in it. This is a ten billion dollar contract.
The factory does not exclude the possibility that part of the Varshavyanka diesel submarines could be transferred for construction to Sevmash from the Admiralty shipyards.

Construction of surface ships.

"Admiral Nakhimov".
Work on the modernization of this project is suspended for the most part due to the fact that the military department has not yet chosen to upgrade the ship.

Design work on the modernization of the ship "Admiral Nakhimov" is the Northern PKB, with whom the military signed a contract.
The main issue of modernization is the installed weapons, because the Granit rocket, intended for installation, is no longer being produced. The design solution for upgrading and supplying weapons for the Admiral Nakhimov should be completed at the beginning of the second quarter of 2012. It is known for sure that the main power plant will remain unchanged and be atomic.

"Admiral Gorshkov"
This aircraft-carrying cruiser is being upgraded by order of India, the ship’s readiness is currently 90 percent. Next year, the upgraded ship will be handed over to the Indian military.

By the way, the plant is ready to build a domestic aircraft carrier, if such a state order is received. Sevmash has everything you need to fully build an aircraft carrier.

Additional Information.

Rumors about the possible utilization of the Dmitry Donskoy submarine put an end. According to the general director of the Sevmash plant, the strategic nuclear submarine Dmitry Donskoy will not be disposed of.

The plant agreed with the military department of Russia that the submarine will be located in the Belomorsk naval base for various tests of submarines under construction. This submarine will work out combat regimes “boat by boat”, conduct verification of sonar and other equipment and weapons. Note that earlier for these tests a submarine from the Northern fleet, and she had to be distracted from combat duty.

According to the START-3 agreement between the United States and the Russian Federation, the Akula submarines will be removed from combat duty. We are talking about three submarines of this series. The Sevmash plant offers an inexpensive upgrade of these submarines for civilian underwater vehicles or underwater gas carriers.

    Ashes are clearly not enough ... multipurpose nuclear submarines are essentially a submarine fleet ..... who are the SSBNs, then they will cover ....
    And for the whole of Russia, as I understand it, there are only two shipbuilding centers - Peter and Severodvinsk .... And in Primorye there is no movement ..... it's annoying .....

    Dmitry Dontsko looks cooler than ash in the photo!

    Under START III between the United States and the Russian Federation, Shark submarines will be removed from combat duty

    how they are afraid of them! that’s what you had to save! rather than breaking! and now they are building some babies that Pindos do not pay attention to!
    All through the ass in our state threaded!

      The smaller the displacement, the higher the stealth. Together with other activities and design features of course. Therefore, in the design of nuclear submarines tend to reduce displacement. You, indeed, have little knowledge of shipbuilding.

      It just looks cooler and that’s it. But think about it, if these missile carriers are so good, then why have they abandoned them, and older BDRMs still make up the main strike unit?
      And I like Ash more than Borey. His view is more optical, more logical. And the location of the torpedo tubes is exotic due to the features of the ASG.

        Exotic for our fleet. For a long time, the Americans, starting with the Los Angeles nuclear submarine, or if I am not mistaken even Skipjack, have been using this TA arrangement at an angle to the center plane. In this case, the use of TA (opening the covers, filling with water, directly launching a torpedo, blowing out the TA) does not interfere with the operation of the bow GAS. The entire bow end is released under the GAS antenna. Logical development. Borey needs a rocket deck. It is also present on foreign SSBNs.

    And what about the previous boreas it doesn’t have? (Rescue chamber). Then why build a boat if it does not have a means of rescue for the whole crew?

    Download Sevmash can not but rejoice. To the concluded contracts for the construction of nuclear submarines, it is necessary to add promising contracts for the modernization of Kuznetsov, the modernization of three more nuclear missile cruisers, after Admiral Nakhimov (they promise to upgrade, including Peter the Great).

      It’s not only good that Sevmash is working, it makes me happy that we produce new types of ships, including the latest frigates and nuclear submarines.
      And then I remember the times when the "Cheetah" was lowered, it was joy =))

    Neither Kuzya nor Nakhimov (who is Orlan) are envisaged for modernization for 12 years, by the way for 13 years, too, everything is still in print from 2012, which film ... thank the bucket ...

      By the beginning of the second quarter, approval of the Nakhimov modernization project will end and its repair and modernization will begin. The rearmament program until 2020 provides for the repair of all nuclear cruisers. This is official information, recently confirmed by the general director of Sevmash.

      Kuznetsov will also be modernized in 2012, although there is currently no contract.

      There is a missile on them - R-39UTTH "Bark" - the Makeyevites did, replaced the southern kb, what remains in Ukraine ... there is a problem in modernization ... like there is no money, pendos allocated for disposal.
      for me it’s easier and cheaper to upgrade sharks and put barges on them than to rivet boreas and flying maces (like German brother 2 - German grenades) 50/50 ...

    If these scum will cut the "shark" boats, count the Americans' ass with the inscription Welkam !!! The Americans are not fools, they know what to order to destroy, what they are powerless to fight with, the same trains with strategic weapons of mass destruction that satellites could not track, shark boats, aircraft-carrying cruisers, ballistic missiles such as stiletto and scalpel, torpedoes squall, and we "banned" the Americans release of canned seals, drive all our leadership, they forgot 1917 and Aurora's shot.
