US sanctions against employees of "Kalashnikov" and "Izhmeha" cause irritation, but they will not affect the activities of enterprises, reports MIC with reference to the press service of the concern.
“The introduction of new sanctions against individuals - employees of the Kalashnikov Concern and the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant causes only indignation. These sanctions will not significantly affect the activities of the Kalashnikov Concern and the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, since the products of the Kalashnikov Concern and the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant have not been delivered to the United States for over a year, nor are any financial transactions carried out. ”

On Tuesday, Washington expanded the sanctions list against Russian citizens in connection with the Ukrainian crisis.
It clarifies that the list includes, among other things, “Deputy General Director for Commercial Issues of the Kalashnikov Concern” Eduard Ioffe, employee of the concern Vakhtang Karamyan (named in the list for the development of the Middle East business of the concern) and Acting Tatyana Chernykh, Head of the Foreign Economic Relations Department, Izhevsk Mechanical Plant.
