Photo review of T-72B1 tanks of the Donetsk People's Republic from the SBU

On their Facebook page, Ukrainian KGBists posted photos that allegedly prove Russian origin tanks T-72B1 captured from the DNR. Moreover, the SBU is trying to assure that these photos prove the fact of "Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine." Just for some reason, when describing the configuration of these vehicles, SBUshniki compare it to the configuration of AFU tanks that underwent major repairs in Kiev and Lviv, completely dismissing the possibility of using tanks removed from storage, say in Artyomovsk, without any modernization and repair. The serial numbers of the machines and their individual units and assemblies clearly show that they were produced back in the Soviet period - in March-April 1985. There are no hallmarks talking about repairs and upgrades on them at all! And only in one tank were batteries allegedly produced in Russia in 2013. It is clear to any specialist that the presence of these rechargeable batteries clearly does not draw on evidence of "aggression." They could well be purchased by Ukraine both officially and could be delivered through smuggling. I wrote about the latter on this blog several times. Thus, the SBU made another "blank shot" ...

Photo review of T-72B1 tanks of the Donetsk People's Republic from the SBU

Nevertheless, let me give here the accompanying text from the SBUshnikov in full, because it is quite interesting in that it reveals the nature and features of the renovation and modernization works in Ukrainian enterprises. Bravo, SBU! The organization designed to keep secrets, and they themselves merged them ...

The SBU presents evidence of Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine - two T-72 tanks manufactured by the Russian Federation, which were in service with the terrorist organization “DPR”.
The placement of individual components and assemblies in these tanks does not meet domestic standards, in particular:
- the air valve is located in the transmission compartment, in the Ukrainian tanks - in the fighting compartment (in the tower);
- there is a counter of motochas under load (not installed in Ukrainian tanks);
- At the crew’s workplaces, existing DV-3 type fans (foreign-made fans have been installed in Ukrainian tanks after an overhaul);
- in tanks there is a fuel heating system (on T-72 type tanks that are in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such a system was dismantled during an overhaul).
In addition, on all units, units of the specified combat vehicles, the existing factory sealing (T-72 tanks, which are in service with the Ukrainian troops, were overhauled at armored plants (Lviv and Kiev), therefore they cannot have factory sealing of the manufacturer).
At the same time, on one of the tanks, four 6CT-140ТМ-type batteries manufactured by the Russian Federation (“Electrolyte Closed Joint-Stock Company”. 6CT-140TM 16TM 529.357TM. St. Petersburg , Kalinin St., 78. Tel. (198095) 50, (812) 7863244, Fax: (812) 7862889. Warranty period of operation 812 year). At the top of the battery, one of the terminals contains the digital designations “7864739” and “3”, which means the battery number and release date - December 844.

At this Concourse of Inglourious Bastards ... the fact of "Russian aggression" is proved even by a fly on the face of drunken Poroshenko. Suddenly a fly-spy from the tale of Tsar Saltan. These "proofs" are focused on the broadest Ukrop man in the street, on the sofa, if not exactly. Well, or on "our" liberals, the intellect of both is on the same level.
    What will these photographs say to an ordinary man who is "familiar" with technology except for World of tanks? Some kind of serial numbers, some kind of components and assemblies, some kind of dashboards - a dark forest. Video, video is just filming, no comments, no explanations, the same incomprehensible nodes, nuts, tubes and so on.
    The most understandable of all is the battery, everyone knows what it is, let's build evidence around it.
    And all this is filed as an official, if I may say so, document. About which some fat uncles are broadcasting with shoulder straps from central TV channels. And here the man in the street sits down with propaganda and thinks: "Here are the curses!"
    Would do something more interesting, would show imagination.

        You can make something in the cold. But there is not enough air or battery to crank this engine and untwist. But they started with the pusher and at -20. But the liners can be cranked at a time. There are many nuances, starting from the features of the engine and ending with the feature of engine oil, which at -40 turns into plasticine. But the car doesn’t get airborne)))

      The backfill question - where and when were these tanks captured

      Here is what dill wrote about the capture of tank number 862 in February 2015:

      Soldiers of the 128th brigade captured a Russian tank near Debaltseve
      Today he was visiting the servicemen of the 2nd artillery division of the 128th mechanized brigade. There I was proudly shown the Russian T-72 captured from the separatists.
      This tank more than a week "nightmare" our fighters, firing at their positions. It was not possible to destroy it with artillery fire - the enemy "seventy-two" appeared unexpectedly, fired one or two shots and hid.
      According to the gunners, he got them decently, there was simply no strength.
      Then ours decided on a sortie. At 2 o’clock in the morning 6 brave souls made their way into the "Separa" territory and still found this hated tank. He stood by a small house. The guys did not go into the house so as not to make noise. Among the gunners was the MTLB driver, he proposed a tank ... to hijack.
      When the T-72 roared and set off, our fighters saw how the unfortunate tankers jumped out of the house and fled in panic, whither and where. They probably thought that Ukrainians would shoot the house from a cannon.
      On the captured tank, the gunners successfully returned to their positions. The Ukrainian flag was immediately hung on a captured combat vehicle. Inside, they found documents (they were given to anyone who needed it) and Russian dry packs. While the fighters use the “seventy-two” as a tractor, there is no gunner who could fire from a gun. But they hope that a specialist will be sent to them and then the trophy will join the firepower of their battery.
      And here are the names of the heroes:
      Andrey Kalinichenko,
      Sergey Khoroshkovsky,
      Vladimir Wozniuk,
      Roman Smigorodsky,
      Sergey Kosakivsky,
      Sergey Ivanovich.
      By the way, on the account of the fighters of the 128th brigade this is not the first tank that has ceased to serve the “Russian world”. Earlier, two more were destroyed.
      When it came time to return, the enemy’s Grad took over. So I had to take another picture - in the dugout ... Smiley “smile”.

    Lord, at least one of those who wrote at least once during the entire time of this conflict was in the LPNR? It could very well be a Russian tank. Don't you really need to be so stupid so as not to understand that weapons are not taken out of thin air and the LPNR has too few of its resources to wage a war. It's like ISIS - someone sponsors and supplies them. As for Russian equipment, it was delivered to the LPNR at full speed, usually outdated and decommissioned. But here she effectively shamanized and joined the battle on the side of the militia. First, the Russians drove the equipment - this explains the fact of the presence of "lost" conscripts in Ukrainian captivity. Then they began to leave her under the border. One more question, well, okay technology, theoretically a dumb Russian man in the street can believe that there were a bunch of tanks on the territory of the LPNR, and then cool militiamen seized a cloud of equipment from the Ukrainian troops with their bare hands, although there are certainly facts of capture, but not in quantity sufficient to ensure sufficient combat capability of the LDNR armies, but where do the shells and cartridges come from? Where from? Do you think there are endless warehouses? Of course, they do not come here with white convoys, but no one bothers to import ammunition into the LPR from the Russian side during the curfew, but why do you think it has been introduced yet? Exclusively for the night redeployment of equipment and ammunition.
    As for the Russian troops. It is clear that the bulk of the LDNR troops are local militias and volunteers from other countries, but Russian troops usually come here for major operations. In addition, they operate specialized equipment. In January-February this year, Smerch got stuck in Makeevka along Moskovskaya Street, which the militia allegedly did not have, especially before the Minsk agreements. On it, and on a truck that came to his aid, were Russian contract soldiers aged 20-25. There was even a sniper in white camouflage, and it was all Russian contract soldiers. Why? Have you ever played sports? Can you distinguish by a walk the master of sports in boxing from the mechanic Vasya who was given a gun to hold? Sporty, fit with smooth springy movements - these are not local militia guys for you. On the one hand, I am grateful to them, because as in Mariupol they do not want any liberation, so I want a political settlement. Although it may sometimes be against a quick military decision, I am not at all against it, because this muddy has already bothered me.
    Do you know why I am writing all this - I was completely tired of your muddle. Your lie under the guise of HPP. You knocked Donbass into a riot, albeit a fair one, and now you grind our militia in all sorts of meat grinders such as Donetsk airport, Shirokino, Maryinka, now Gorlovka. "To move the front five kilometers away from Donetsk" - so that later without a fight, all this can be returned to the Ukrainians - this is not a combat mission, but incomprehensible crap. You need the conflict to smolder. You do not need the independence of Donbass, or its entry into Russia, which you encouraged it to do, perhaps you do not even need the implementation of the Minsk agreements - you need muddled up. This is what they are afraid of in the Baltic States, inviting American troops. In Moldova you set up Transnistria, in Georgia Abkhazia and South Ossetia, here - Donbass. And it's all muddied up. These are bleeding wounds on the body of the countries of your former allies. You are fighting the Americans in the territories of neighboring states, taking advantage of the fact that there is a population loyal to you, but you are betraying this population. However, you are betraying yourself. All this will end up being crushed - because it is impossible to constantly betray. You are not the strongest state on the planet and therefore those who fight you will sooner or later punish you. And your supporters will no longer remain in the neighboring states, just as there are no more of them in the countries of the former Warsaw Pact, for the same reasons. You know how to be friends exclusively in your favor, substituting those who trusted you.

      Facts are stubborn things. There is not a single Russian serviceman on the territory of Novorossiya. Our president, unlike yours, is responsible for his words, and he has officially stated this many times. I admit that citizens of the Russian Federation are fighting there, but they are not military personnel. There are a lot of mercenaries in the Armed Forces from Europe, Asia, and the USA. Does this mean the armies of these countries are fighting there? There is evidence of supplies of military equipment from the Russian Federation to the armies of the DPR and LPR, so show. The best of the best intelligence services in the world are helping you, all cats, probably, were counted on the streets of Donetsk. As the famous actor said: "What is your evidence?" And at the same time, the (Russian) militias do not fire on Ukrainian cities, not a single civilian in Ukraine has died. What a moral freak it takes to try to justify an army of child-killers!

    Why did we make Transnistria, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Donbas? Yes, because we want to be in relative safety! Here you are, for example, if you write such accusations, you have no idea why all this is done and supported, and most importantly for what!

    But how can I understand you when for your "safety" I now hear shots outside the window and stories about how two trucks with the corpses of the militia are taken out of the airport?
    And at the expense of "will not be punished" - everyone thought so, both the Roman Empire and Byzantium, and the Khazar Kaganate. But why go far: you lost the Crimean War in 1856 to the British, French and Turks. Then, the Japanese 1905, too - recently, right? The First World War - also in essence. The border conflict on Damansky Island - they gave the Chinese a piece of land. The Turks over there shoot down your planes with impunity, Ukrainians in Kiev are burning your flags and singing PTN-PNKh, support in the Crimea is torn and the water is turned off. In Poland and the Baltics, the graves of your grandfathers are being destroyed. And you eat it all. So in fact they have you, hats, all and sundry. The French squeezed the Mistral, and in fact it is not only a loss to them, but also to you, and the United States is a winner. And you keep telling stories about traditions. If the Americans had not given gunpowder under the lend-lease, then the German flag would now be hanging over the Kremlin. That's how strong you are. ))))
    And I'm listening to the arguments, you can tell me - we’ll laugh together.

    We lost the Crimean War to the coalition: England, France, Turkey, the Sardinian Kingdom. A little later, when Alexander III was informed about the Western ambassadors awaiting him, he said: "Europe will wait until the Russian Tsar catches perchs." We lost the Russo-Japanese War. A little later, J.V. Stalin set the priorities in the region in such a way that Japan is still asking to return a couple of its former rocks. The Soviet border detachment won the conflict on Damansky Island. Somewhat later, the USSR, by virtue of the relevant international rules, suggested that the PRC draw a demarcation line in the middle of the Amur River. The fact is that since the 3th century, the border ran along the Chinese coast. Accordingly, all the islands located closer to the Chinese coast were withdrawn by the PRC, including Damansky Island. There is no need to scream that our border guards died in vain. They have done their duty.

    About gunpowders: in the USSR, pyroxylin (160.5 tons before the war) and ballastite nitroglycerin (7 tons before the war) gunpowder were produced. During the period 1942-1945, the industry produced 214,5 tons and 92,6 tons of these propellants, respectively. Total: 307,1 tons of propellants. Lend-Lease produced 88,7 tons of gunpowder, i.e. 28,9%. A lot, but for the German flag to hang over the Kremlin (some unhealthy word) is clearly not enough. Ukrainians can burn our flags, jump, chant anything, they can urinate on the Kremlin wall without taking off their pants. They can (on the territory of Ukraine) tear the supports and bridges. What to take from them, from the Ukrainians. Great Wars Poles and Balts are accustomed to fighting victoriously with the dead, because the stillborn abortions of the great Slavic civilization themselves. The epic with the "Mistrals" in financial terms did not bring Russia either profit or loss. France has finally lowered its international rating. Only the clinical one cannot see this. The reaction to the destruction of the Russian SU-24 will follow a little later. The key phrase of my comment is a little later. And laughing me with you zapadlo, we will laugh after you.
