Museum of the god of war needs protection

In 2014, the relocation of the Strategic Missile Forces Academy to them began. Peter the Great of the buildings on Moskvoretskaya Embankment in Balashikha. At the same time, information circulates in the media that they want to send the Balashikha Academy through the stage to St. Petersburg or another city.

Allegedly, there are no development prospects at the academy - “There historical buildings, and you cannot rebuild them. " A similar situation arose before 1991. But then the organizations left in the city in the same place, and created branches in the periphery. Moreover, now Balashikha is not a semi-desert suburb, as it was half a century ago, but a metropolis that is not inferior to Shanghai in terms of overcrowding. In Balashikha now lives half a million registered residents and a huge number of migrants.

Thus, the relocation of the Academy is an event that can inflict enormous damage on the country's defense and bring fabulous profits to those who receive buildings on Moskvoretskaya Embankment.

I will dwell on the fate of the Museum of the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces. Peter the Great.

The museum was opened in the 1968 year and is a full-time museum education as part of one of the oldest military academies, the head museum of rocket educational institutions. It documents various aspects of military history, the formation and development of scientific and pedagogical schools from 1820 to the present day, as well as the stages of life and work of the Academy’s pupils - outstanding military leaders, national heroes, and distinguished figures in the field of military science and technology.

The museum contains unique documents on the history of the development of artillery, nuclear missile weapons and rocket and space technology, command and control systems and weapons.

Almost complete (more than 600 units) collection of works of the sculptor and painter of the academician of the Russian and International Slavic Academy F.V. Vikulova (1919 – 2001), presented in the gallery “Images of Russia”. The works of the master are united by one theme: military men, scientists, statesmen, outstanding representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church - patriots of Russia. Consequently, the museum is also responsible for the content of the artistic profile.

The Academy Museum is by right a comprehensive museum education unique to a higher education institution.

The total area of the museum halls is more than a thousand square meters. The entire exposition of the museum is conventionally divided into nine sections, five sub-departments, an art gallery. The museum exhibits 4386 exhibits, in the store - 4897 items and books, more than 16 thousands of photographic materials (photographs, negative and positive frames), reflecting the historical past of the academy. 10 museum items have the status of "Monument of science and technology of Russia of the first category."

Visitors to the museum are presented: banners - 7; models of weapons, ammunition and devices - 269; layouts and models - 141; orders and medals - 126; clothing form samples - 21.

The artwork of the main exposition includes 688 items.

Conducted, constantly replenishing, personal funds of students and staff of the Academy. Their volume is 1391 unit. The archive of service cards numbering more than 9 thousand units is widely used.

I will give just a couple of examples. The museum holds the only surviving 25-mm anti-tank gun LPP-25 design Sidorenko. This unique weapon with a weight of 154 kg punched 100-mm armor. 30 guns per minute rate of fire. In my opinion, it is not a sin to familiarize oneself with the construction of this instrument with a student of any engineering specialty.

The museum holds dozens of expensive, precisely made models - from ICBMs to the hidden gun carriages of the serf guns of the late XIX - early XX centuries.

It should be added that the academic museum is a kind of educational unit. Practically all the profiling departments of the Academy planned in the 2 watch grid – 4-hour classes in the museum.

The museum staff conducted research on the topics “History of Academy Divisions” (R & D “Notepad”) and “History of the Academy as part of the Strategic Missile Forces” (R & D “Party”); The results of the research were implemented in the editions of “2015 years of the Military Academy named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky "; “Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great. History of development and activity as part of the Strategic Missile Forces "and" History of the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great "in four volumes; “Annals of the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great” in six volumes.

Practice shows that the relocation of military museums leads to their closure for many years, to the loss of part of the exhibits and the care of highly qualified specialists. For example, the relocation of the Naval Museum in St. Petersburg from the Stock Exchange building began in 2010, but to this day the museum’s exposition has not been fully opened. Well, I saw the 7 Exchange building in November 2015 of the year completely neglected. External signs of any repair there.

The conclusion is obvious: it is necessary to publicly discuss the feasibility of moving the Academy. Peter the Great of her buildings on Moskvoretskaya embankment. Regardless of the outcome of the discussions, it is necessary to leave the Academy Museum in Moscow. This is the only way to save it.

There are enough precedents. So, in 1987, the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute im.S. Ordzhonikidze moved from a building on Marx Avenue (now Mokhovaya Street) to a new building in a “residential area” on ul. Miklukho-Maklaya, and the State Geological Museum, whose history begins with 1755, remained in the same building on Mokhovaya Street with unique exhibits.

The main thing is that specialists who work at museums, as a rule veterans and pensioners, will not move anywhere.

It seems to me that one cannot transfer historical structures from place to place. And it turns out that the Brest FORTRESS beyond the Urals, and defeated Berlin near Japan. Can not be so. Moreover, SCIENCE and TRAINING will suffer from this! Hence the conclusion: someone liked the land. And this means that our organs do not catch mice. Or they catch with mice!

          The "translators" forget about personnel.
Cadres were collected bit by bit. People who knew the subject, who were gathered in the capital to concentrate their intellectual potential. This was an element of encouragement, the ability to provide decent living conditions for people who deserve this right to learn a profession, not to live in a garrison. Get the right to live, get an education in Moscow or Leningrad, there was an element of competitiveness, the desire to be the first.
Whoever may be tempted to receive an academic education, no offense to provincial cities, the Mukho Academy of something or someone's name. Nobody thinks about this. Who or what, will replace the established life of the officer, with the rank of colonel, to work romantically in the province.
          Nonsense.

It is categorically against moving. Museums can only be moved due to force majeure: the technical condition of the building, the inability to provide storage conditions. Everything else is far-fetched. Moving is fraught with damage to exhibits both during transportation and from non-compliance with storage conditions on the way. Sometimes losses can be irreparable.

Well at least write the word "Petersburg" with a capital letter. Thanks for that too. Colleague, what do you think "drive back to Peter"? Museum of the god of war needs protection

      - I don't quite understand what the "god of war" has to do with it. I heard about "artillery - the queen of the fields", of course. About "Strategic Missile Forces - God of War" - never. Is that the famous saying "after us - silence." And about moving ... it's actually not a bad idea. It's a bad idea to transfer him to St. Petersburg. What for? There and without it there is enough of all sorts of things. Let me explain my thought a little: Moscow has turned into a powerful magnet for everything and everyone, it is there that the best universities are, it is there that the most prestigious work, it is there that the best academies and so on, so on ... this is fundamentally wrong. And if Moscow is "unloaded" - this is only for the best. You cannot concentrate all the "best" in one city. Yes, and from the obsession for the "provincials" "to move to Moscow for permanent residence" must also be abandoned.

Sure, not a problem. Only you need to stop pulling money to Moscow, and taxes need to be paid at the location of fixed assets, stop developing only one city, and people will abandon the obsession. And when the money will remain outside the Urals, where oil, gas, minerals, flowing abroad by the river, then such questions will not arise. Yes, stop killing industrial production in these areas.

Moscow is a city of reckless business, one that rather disgraces us than raises in the ranking of business freedom.
Once the building on Moskvoretskaya embankment does not provide the opportunity for the development of the Academy of Strategic Rocket Forces. Peter the Great, it means it is necessary to build a new building with spacious classrooms, laboratories and training grounds, especially since this educational institution has strategic importance. And the main thing in Moscow business is to get the building in the city center for free, using towers in the Moscow Region and Moscow City Hall.
Near St. Petersburg, 10-20 minutes from the Ladoga metro there is a military training ground preparing for closure, there is enough land for a hundred Academies, with museums and classes !!

Comrades soldiers, sergeants, officers and generals, for starters, let's not wave swords, encourage the guilty and punish the innocent. In every locality of Russia (city, town, village) there is a museum.
First, decide what a museum is?
The museum is the House of the Muses (other Greek). An institution for collecting, storing and providing information about past, present and future events at a specific time in a certain territory.
Secondly, who or what is the god of war ?, Mars, Ares or artillery?
Thirdly, who or what became (o) the founder of the god of war? And where is this monument really set up?
Fourthly, is there any good reason to single out such concepts as "the god of war" in a special category? "queen of the fields", "lords of the sky", "knights of the cloak and dagger", etc., in order to create and open a separate museum for each of them. Isn't it easier, in every museum, to make rooms in one or another historical, military-technical or civil-social direction? Something like this.

But forgive me, I’m not a friend. With such stupid judgments.
Meter per meter - this is your area. Well, if in depth - a cubic meter. More Mother Earth can’t stand it.
And on "-" I did not press, too much honor.

Justification I gave you, there is no answer, only a mumble, what else do you want?
You need to, you can look in the Internet. And we need to feel the story, at least with our eyes, without people like you.
        Get out of the site!

These bad people are going to make a U-turn back to Serdyukovism. Moscow is this place chtol? Lost! Yes, it seems not ... Over 74 years ago, a counter-offensive began near Moscow. The brains are melting (who had them) at the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. We picked just anyone - now we are going to clean it up. We live in the era of "terry non-professionalism". Effective managers will drive the country into the grave. The era of national treachery. Continued ...

The Exchange building in St. Petersburg was officially presented to the Hermitage. In it, in 2016, a museum of the Russian Guard and Heraldry will open (work is underway). After the TsVMM moved from the Exchange building to the new building, its exposition expanded significantly, work also continues.

Hey! Minus players. Respond. Or is this another provocation of "museum workers" who want to easily cut budget money?

I’m more and more convinced of the saying that the dog’s friend is not always understand you, but always listen to you. I thought that I would find worthy opponents on this information resource. Alas! How opponents were ground.

Author Alexander Shirokorada, when I was a dog, his book was devoured by "the fiery sword of the Russian fleet". I managed to read it, but found inaccuracies

The author has a lot of them in all books. While the material is rewriting - there is little mistake. But when he begins to write down his own thoughts - at least stand, at least fall.

In Ryazan, there was a really good exposition of automotive equipment, but under the reign of the Defense Ministry, Mr. Ser-GAVNYukov, everything went to private collections. In Tula, during his reign, the ART school was evicted, they didn’t have time to sell it, they transferred there to the airborne station, which now needs to be driven across the city to the runway (and over any bridge across the river).

And FIG knows him. On the branch, see who lives on the spot.
The police start to slow me down from the Kievsky railway station, they are reassured by the fact that the place of birth in the passport is Tyumen. And I "screw up" better than Muscovites. With a Siberian accent.

“Practice shows that the relocation of military museums leads to their closure for many years, to the loss of some exhibits and the departure of highly qualified specialists. For example, the move of the Naval Museum in St. Petersburg from the Exchange building began in 2010, but to this day the museum’s exposition has not been fully opened. ”
They used to say from old times: "One move - half a fire." Losses when moving the Museum of the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces. Peter the Great will be unique. The unique exhibits and the rank-and-file are sure to be "lost". Later, they will emerge from collectors in the West and in foreign museums, approximately like the suit of Yuri Gagarin. Then they kind of tried to return it, but that the matter had died out. And now museums are demonstrating an allegedly exact copy of it.
Relocation of the Museum of the Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces. Peter the Great is an initiative of the generals. Without the approval of the generals, such a question would not even be considered.
