Turkish media Dogan reports that police in Turkey arrested several journalists who previously published materials on official Ankara supplies weapons and ammunition grouping ISIS. We are talking about the editor in chief Cumhuriyet Janna Dumdare and Erdeme Güle’s correspondent. Journalists Cumhuriyet a few months ago published an article that talks about the supply of weapons to militants in Syria.
The article described how as a result of inspection of trucks belonging to the national intelligence service of Turkey and heading to Syria, it turned out that firearms, grenade launchers and ammunition. On the pages of the publication appeared photographic materials, on which boxes with weapons and ammunition were sealed.
After this publication, Turkish Prime Minister Davutoglu announced that weapons and ammunition were being sent to Syrian Turkmen. Now it turns out that different groups of Syrian Turkmen who had not previously sought to take sides in the Syrian conflict are opposing the government forces, some on the Dzhebhat an-Nusra side, some on the ISIL side, some by creating their own armed groups .
It is noteworthy that the President of Turkey Erdogan himself filed a lawsuit against journalists who published the words of truth, demanding life sentences for Dumdar and Gul. Erdogan, who, apparently, is ready to perform prosecutorial functions in the country, declares that he should add to life terms by 42 year of imprisonment “on aggregate of crimes”, accusing journalists of relations with foreign intelligence services and terrorist organizations. Maybe Erdogan needs to go to the end and at the trial against journalists to act as a judge? ..
