European countries have submitted a draft resolution on Syria to the UN General Assembly

Western countries continue to aggravate the situation around Syria. Britain, France and Germany submitted to the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly dealing with social, humanitarian and cultural issues a draft resolution entitled "Situation of human rights in Syria". According to some information, the United States, Japan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar and Libya may become its co-authors. Next Tuesday this resolution can be put to the vote.

The draft calls for Syria’s implementation of the “road map”, which the Arab League adopted on November 2. In particular, the Arab Plan for overcoming the crisis provides for the withdrawal of army units from the cities, the release of political prisoners, the cessation of violence by all parties to the conflict and the beginning of a national dialogue by the Syrian authorities.

According to diplomats, the Western countries decided to use the mechanism of the General Assembly, after making sure that the positions of China and Russia nullified their efforts to achieve in the Security Council condemnation of the Syrian government. Although the General Assembly resolution is not binding, its support from the Arab countries can increase the pressure on the UN Security Council in favor of its members taking more decisive measures against Syria.

"The Arab countries sent a clear signal: the sufferings of the Syrian people and human rights violations must be brought to an end," said Peter Wittig, permanent representative of Germany to the UN, to journalists. ". However, according to the Ambassador of Germany, the resolution of the General Assembly cannot replace the decisions of the Security Council. "We continue to believe that the Security Council should not shirk its responsibilities, and we also hope that Security Council members will not be able to dismiss appeals from the region."

Recall that on October 4, China and Russia exercised their right of veto during a vote in the UN Security Council on a resolution in which Syria was sharply condemned for suppressing opposition speeches.

Absolutely unverified news, however, this message appeared almost simultaneously in the Syrian media and on the Israeli news site haaretz. It is reported that in the very near future off the coast of Syria several warships of the Russian Federation will appear. Allegedly, this step will reflect the position of Moscow, which will make it clear that it does not intend to allow the development of events in Syria according to the Libyan scenario and allow the West to cross the "dangerous line". On the eve of his statement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov harshly criticized some Western countries that grossly interfere in Syrian internal affairs and even voice plans for a military operation.

This news is news, but you can check the information. Even without knowing Arabic, you can go to the website of Al Jazeera or the Lebanese ElBC and use a translator, although the translation is not strong, but for an interested contingent, the general essence can be understood without problems.

Let's imagine that tomorrow NATO, concerned about the rights of the "suffering Syrians", will suddenly independently declare a no-fly zone over Syria and start bombing ... you think that several ships, unless they immediately enter into a military conflict (with all the ensuing consequences ) on the side of Syria, will they be stopped?

not why - but why - to eliminate the lack of democracy of the country! unintentionally journalists and observers (following the example of Libya) who will do their job at the right time, and before that they will supposedly show the truth - how are civilians being killed!

"... The suffering of the Syrian people ... must end," Peter Whittig, Germany's permanent representative to the UN, told reporters ... "and fired a control shot in the head of the last suffering Syrian.

“The Arab countries have sent a clear message: an end must be put to the suffering of the Syrian people and human rights abuses,” Peter Whittig, Germany's permanent representative to the UN, told reporters.

After seven months of bombing, democracy will prevail, though the country will return to the Stone Age, but it is usually not interested in Western countries!

The Libyan scenario should not be repeated unambiguously, and even the sanctions and the UN and all sorts of road maps invented by the bride for what and whom should not stop alone. The choice of the Zionic people itself, excluding from their composition all the zealots of whom there I am surely abundantly also inciteers of ethnic hatred.
And whether the citizens of Syria itself are satisfied with the same scenario of achieving "democracy" and the common good as in Libya.
I am for the direct intervention of Russia in this international mess!
      Stop breeding demagoguery ...
