Our memory. Museum of the Armed Forces in Moscow

16

This time we want to offer you a small photo tour of the Museum of the Armed Forces, the former Museum of the Soviet Army in Moscow. The museum is small, but as they say, "delicious." Many unique exhibits that are not to be seen anywhere else. And the exposure is no less, but even more interesting than many other museums in the country.

The essence of this small institution is versatility. Little tanksa little artillery. In total, which was in service with the Red Army and the SA, in its area can not be shoved, unfortunately. But what is is often unique.

And it was very gratifying that the museum staff managed to make exhibitions dedicated to Afghanistan and Chechnya. It was evident how much effort it was worth biting off precious square meters from the most interesting expositions. But they did. Which is very pleased.

However, judge for yourself. We made a small selection of footage, the most interesting in our opinion.

Let's start with outdoor exposure.

Tank T-38. Rare instance

T-28. This is not even in Kubinka.

Training plane "Dolphin"

ZSU in the landing version

"Flying howitzer"

Artillery Fire Control Machine

Landing BTR

130 caliber anti-aircraft gun mm

Grandmother and granddaughter

"Stalin sledgehammers"

In the Air Force Museum in Monino, I also saw such visitors. They come to "their" exhibit, stand for a long time and just keep silent.

And a little about the exhibits inside the museum.

This is PPD. Degtyarev submachine gun assembled from parts on the knee in Kovrov

Well deserved exhibitor. Without it there would not be a large number of exhibits.

Weapon allies

A separate exhibition is devoted to prisoners of concentration camps.

And these we also will not forget

Ivan Kozhedub's tunic

Alexander Pokryshkin Awards

This is a gift from Pilot Powers. Involuntary, really ...

And this strange sculpture stands not far from the entrance to the museum:

Had a visit here in the mid-80s. Of course, there were no such installations as in the last photo.
According to the creators of the Non-Militaristic Installation, the Apple Orchard will remind city dwellers of how important it is to value the world in which we live. The apple orchard is at the same time a symbol of peaceful life and proximity to nature.

He was still a teenager in the mid-80s. It took two full days to get around and inspect everything. The delight was - not to describe. Now the son will need to show.

Mda When I was there in the 13th year there were still some exhibits. :)
And the installation in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War was also impressive, where in the hall under the glass a lot of former Wehrmacht small arms were strewn.

He himself was a young man in the late 60's. It seemed big, the cinema hall worked. I remembered a meeting with a large group of Vietnamese military. Then he took his sons. The last time was in September 2008. The street exposition was closed, a number of halls expanded expositions on the theme of the history of the Russian army. What struck me! The museum instantly responded with its exhibition to the fighting to force Georgia to peace. Everything was done very quickly and very clearly. I recall that even the ticket was saved ...

I was there in 1982, I was 10 years old, the impression is indescribable. I walked all day with my mouth open. Thank you updated the memory, it's great that everything was preserved.

The cockades of Vlasov and Bendera are mixed up, if I'm not mistaken. For the museum, the Museum of the Armed Forces in Moscow is unforgivable.
