Media silence
Sucking rumors, gossip and intrigue, accompanying the struggle of prominent figures of the United States (and of the whole world, of course) for the presidency and without failing to report that the States accuse Russia of intensifying ISIS bombings (!!!), information about events, one way or another connected with Moscow, this is over. As they say, freedom of speech has won. Enlightened Europe - hooray!
For the sake of justice, it should be noted that only in some print editions appeared slightly sour from the time of the article about the highest rating of Putin or about the surprise, which gave Assad, unexpectedly visiting Moscow.
In this situation, I want to applaud “El Pais”, who is in splendid isolation, who 22.10.15 published an article by Pilar Bonet, a Moscow correspondent entitled “Putin: Syria can be a“ model ”of cooperation between Russia and the West,” that the Russian president outlines a plan to overcome the Syrian crisis. Based on international law, the Russian leader calls for the unification of all forces ready for real and genuine cooperation in order to end terrorism. The Russian leader advocated the creation of a roadmap for the reconstruction of the region. In his opinion, this is the only thing that can stop the influx of refugees to European countries.
At the same time, all channels broadcast about the distressing and tragic situation of refugees who spend the night in the open air or go in the rain, turning mud into porridge, or include interviews with these unfortunate people, many of whom are sick after spending the night at freezing temperatures. As a rule, such news is accompanied by daily discussions in the studio, endless discussions that do not lead to anything ... Sometimes it begins to seem that those on whom television politics depends are simply deaf. They can neither speak nor hear. Apparently, the only perceptible auditory canal is directed toward the United States. At other frequencies does not work.
