Aviation VKS RF in Syria made 88 departures per day. Video of attacks on militant objects

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published new data on aviation strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces on the positions of terrorists in Syria. As a result of direct hits from aerial bombs, the militants' ammunition depot in the area of the Salma settlement (Latakia province) was completely destroyed:

Destroyed ammunition depot, owned by terrorists, and in the province of Hama. We are talking about the object of the militants, located in the village of Jubb-el-Ahmar.

The aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck the militants' stronghold located in the valley of El-Gab:

From the press service of the main military department:

The aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic over the past day have significantly increased the intensity of the fire destruction of command posts, areas of concentration and storage of material resources of the terrorist organization ISIS.

As a result of our attacks, the detachments of the terrorist group ISIL are deprived of most of the ammunition, heavy military equipment and logistical assets.

All the terrorist’s logistical network for bringing ammunition and fuel from the Rakka province has now been set in motion. Today they are no longer caravans, but maneuverable groups of off-road vehicles, moving, as a rule, during the dark time of day with cargo for terrorists. There is also a reverse movement of terrorist groups from the front line in the east and north-east direction.

The Russian Defense Ministry reports that over the past day Su-24M, Su-25CM and Su-34 aircraft carried out 88 sorties. As a result of one of the attacks, the militants' command center was destroyed near the town of Anadan (Aleppo province). For destruction was used a bomb KAB-500.

From the message press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:

Strike attack aircraft Su-25 in the province of Aleppo attacked a column of militants, carrying fuel and ammunition. A fuel truck, three trucks with ammunition and two escort vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed.

According to radio interceptions of talks by field commanders in the provinces of Hama and Homs, the militants are experiencing an acute shortage of ammunition for rifle gunmen. weapons and rocket launchers. Some field commanders make demands to their leadership that, if the ammunition is not replenished in the near future, they will withdraw their gangs from the combat zone.

After completing the combat missions, all Russian military aircraft returned safely to Khmeimim airbase.

And here I was a little bit embarrassed ... How did you imagine how many lives of our guys we could save in both Chechen ones with similar pinpoint strikes ... And most importantly - that all technologies were already there - our liberals, led by EBN, lost ... them. There were both missiles and aviation (the Su-25T was mass-produced).

Threat On the other hand - there would be no liberalism - there would be no Chechen conflicts

Thanks to the Chechen campaigns, invaluable experience of military operations against terrorists has been accumulated, and now it allows our military in Syria to act skillfully. The bombing and ruthless destruction of bandits like cockroaches - this began and ended the second Chechen one. It essentially defeated artillery. Now similar actions are being carried out in Syria, when the overwhelming majority of civilians left residential areas and you can calmly level the terrorists with the ground and only then use the infantry, special forces, etc.

If we take the total number of aircraft and the number of departures per day (88), then it turns out that somewhere around 3 departures per pilot ... it's cool ...

Wow, they have increased the strikes, but now they are increasingly writing “strikes against fortified areas and firing positions” - that means they are working directly along the front line.

The offensive operations of the Syrian army on October 12, 2015

On October 12, parts of the Syrian army and militia launched offensive operations in several directions at once in the provinces of Hama and Latakia. Not everywhere were successful, but in the Sahel al-Gab and in the northeast of Latakia Ave., government forces managed to move forward.

In the north of Hama avenue, the main battles were on the flanks of the ledge with the cities of Kafr Zita and Latamna. The purpose of the attacks of the Syrian army in these areas is probably to surround the enemy group in these cities.

After massive attacks by the Russian airborne forces, government forces launched an offensive on the left flank in the direction of the village of Sukeyk, and on the right - in the direction of the city of Kafr Nabuda. As a result, the Syrian military managed to partially oust the militants from Sukake.

In the battles for Kafr Nabud, fighters of the 87th Infantry, 10th Tank Brigades and units of the National Defense Forces drove the militants of the Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups out of the city. Terrorists with the support of "moderate" militants from the "6th FSA Brigade" did not allow the government forces to gain a foothold and in the evening attacked from several directions at once.

As a result, the military and militias had to retreat to their original positions, leaving the city almost completely. Islamic sources said that during the retreat, government forces lost 58 soldiers (50 were killed and 8 were captured). Nevertheless, the army remained on the southern outskirts of Kafr Nabud and is trying to maintain these positions until a second assault.

The combat operations of the Syrian army in the northeast of Hama ave and Latakia ave were much more successful. On October 12, after a series of attacks by the Russian air forces and the Syrian air force, government forces launched an offensive east of Safsaf and took control of a part of Sahel al-Gab to Sermania. Islamist sources deny the offensive by the army in the area, but they cannot provide evidence of this (as in Kafr Nabuda).

In the province of Latakia, under the attacks of Russian aviation, the Islamist defense in the fortified area of Salma is gradually bending. On October 12, special forces of the Syrian army cleared the outskirts of Kafr Delba and entered the southeastern outskirts of the village of Salma. Active battles continued here all day and on the night of October 13.

And you don’t see yourself that sometimes gaps lie away from objects? It is not necessary to make a new approach. You can return at another time of the day, and increase the number of aircraft per departure. But the goal must be erased to the ground, if it is a camp, or some headquarters.

2-3 raids, this does not mean that the plane makes 2-3 approaches to the target. One object can be attacked 2-3 times in 2 and 3 days, and during the week. The emphasis is placed on the number of strokes, there was no talk about the intervals between attacks. So think!

Assad’s army began to use a fundamentally different tactic, which, according to Philip Breedlove, is also associated with the “hand of Moscow”. Instead of a desperate and bloody struggle on the whole front, as it was not so long ago, concrete and well-planned operations are currently underway. A typical example is the liberation of a second village in the north of Hama in a short time. Initially, the positions of the militants were carefully reconnoitered and then destroyed by targeted artillery fire. Further, the Syrian military without much difficulty cleaned up a bloodless anti-government detachment. Any help from other militants was excluded due to the massive bombing. About 20 jeeps with heavy machine guns, which were in a hurry to rescue, were destroyed. Commenting on this operation, Al Qaeda spokesman Imam Abdullah al-Muheizini said that if the initiative is not urgently seized, “the future will be dire.”

It turns out almost 3 sorties per day, a serious load on equipment and personnel. I hope they have a rotation.

Well done! We heard what we needed. Time is running out. It will be more difficult to work in November, the weather in Syria will worsen. Apparently, intelligence was straining. God help you, hollow bearded logs.

The number of Russian planes in Syria is clearly not enough for the victory of Assad’s army or for large-scale offensives. Pilots and equipment work for wear and tear, 60-80 sorties a day are few. That the war in Syria does not turn into tyagomotin, it is necessary to increase the number of aircraft, at least up to 150 units. Otherwise, I think it will not burn out
