The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation distributed the message that aviation The Russian Aerospace Forces participating in the counter-terrorist operation in Syria increased the daily number of attacks on militants and their infrastructure. Over the past day, from the Khmeimim airbase, Su-24M, Su-25SM and Su-34 aircraft made 67 sorties, striking at 60 targets of terrorist groups.
The targets for the attacks were militants ’command and communication centers, weapons depots and fuel and lubricants, as well as terrorist training bases in the racca, Lattakia, Hama, Idlib and Aleppo provinces.
As a result of blows destroyed: 6 control points and communication centers; 6 ammunition and fuel depots; 17 camps and terrorist training bases; 3 underground militant installations in the province of Lattakia; 16 fortified areas and defensive positions with weapons and military equipment; 11 areas of concentration of gangs; plant for the repair of armored vehicles; 17 units of automotive and armored vehicles, 2 installation MLRS.
In the province of Rakka, a direct hit by the KAB-500С aerial bomb resulted in the complete destruction of the command post (headquarters) of the terrorist organization Liva al-Haq. The Ministry of Defense reports that the interception data made it possible to establish that as a result of the attack more than two hundred militants, including two field commanders, were killed.
In the province of Aleppo, a blow was struck at a former prison building in which terrorists stored ammunition. Destroyed at least 100 militants.
