Saddam Hussein's Revenge

Capable connections of personnel officers of Saddam can leave "Islamic state"

The state of terrorists - ISIL (organization banned in the Russian Federation) - has become a military opponent of Russia. This happened not only because of the start of hostilities of our army in Syria on the side of the regime of Bashar al-Assad and the presence of the Caucasus on the maps of Islamists, but also due to changes in the ranks of the militant terrorist formation. According to the Russian Planet, former officers of the Arab Socialist Renaissance Party (BAAS) are actively on the side of the jihadists, which contributes to the aggressive phase of the war for the expansion of territories.

As a source close to the Islamic State explained to the Russian Planet, it is already known that Izzat Ibrahim ad-Duri, ex-deputy of Saddam Hussein and the secretary of the Ba'ath secretary, Izzat Ibrahim ad-Duri, ex-deputy head, entered the IG leadership. Thus, we can conclude that ISIS reassigns itself even to conservative groups of the Arab world, which were initially negatively disposed towards it. And here the question arises of the impact on the commanders of Hussein, who are combat commanders in the "Iblis state."

According to political analyst Sergei Aksenov, the brilliant actions of our aviation in Syria, as well as the carefully calibrated work of the Russian Foreign Ministry is beginning to bear fruit. Hundreds, if not thousands of militants, are being removed from their positions and trying to hide, to penetrate some into Europe and some into Jordan. Most likely, these are just thugs who participated in theatrical executions. The former military, members of the Iraqi Ba'ath party, would hardly have fallen to such chaos.

“It’s a paradox, but precisely because of their martial art, the IS and achieved all their success. Recall that the group recently nearly took Baghdad. That is, while some actually fought, others "cut the Bosch" into cameras. One with a bipod, seven with a spoon. Further success in the confrontation with the IS can be connected with the neutralization of these former cadre military, ”said Aksenov.

The political scientist is convinced that in the ranks of the IG they found themselves in general by chance: they fought as partisans against the Yankees who had seized Iraq. Americans were hanged by Saddam, and his Fedayins were in the category of "terrorists." If it were possible to detach these people from the IS, the group would weaken militarily very strongly. Most likely fatal.

“They need to be trite to seduce. Promise, for example, posts in Baghdad. Then, after the victory. And the amnesty, of course, too. It can be held directly on the party lists. Apparently, our military attaches, those whom the Iraqis can somehow trust, must do this. When Russian planes bombed them from the west and thrust the government al-Assad army in the east, and in the east Russian military attaches will be offered an honorary position and opportunity to live, a simple Iraqi warrior will throw his IG without hesitation. The thugs will be left alone with themselves, ”believes Sergey Aksenov.

Naturally, among the Sunnis are actively promoting, explaining that Russia is at war with Islam. The deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper Izvestia, Anastasia Kashevarova, reminded the RP that a video appeared on the network about the victims in Syria from alleged air strikes of our Aerospace Forces. The Baathists are specially targeted against the Russian Federation, the journalist concludes.

“The video is terrible no matter who did it. But this is a provocation. Russia does not bomb the civilian population of Syria. Air strikes are applied pointwise at weapons, ammunition depots, communications centers. But not by the civilian population. Of course, I, as a mother, cannot look at these atrocities, and doubts can arise in each of us. But I do not really believe, but I know for sure that this is a fake. And this will be enough. This is a fake - test for the lice of every Russian to surrender and condemn the power, this is what our foreign "friends" are seeking. If you have a heart and a mind, then do not be fooled by it. Russia does not fight against Muslims. The Islamic State is fighting against Muslims and representatives of other religions, ”Anastasia Kashevarova emphasized.

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, explained to the federal media, Izvestia and the Russian Planet, that the patrons of the Iblis state began to show anxiety and are trying to incite the Sunnis from the Baath Party against Russia. According to him, after making sure that Russian aviation is operating effectively, they began to play the Sunni-Shiites card. Reported statements that the Islamic state is not a terrorist organization. What is supposedly a Sunni, opposing Shiites, fighting against Sunni around the world.

“These are absurd statements! More than 60 of the most famous Islamic religious figures from dozens of countries around the world carried out the official fatwa declaring the Iblis state (ISIS. - RP) the enemy of Islam, the enemy of the Ummah of the Prophet (p.Av.). Most fatwa authors are Sunni. Moreover, I, like all my ancestors, was, is and always will be Sunni. I am the main Sunni on this earth! And I say that the IG consists of a rabble collected by Western secret services from all over the world. They first destroy the Sunnis. I ask you not to give in to these provocations of the special services. They gave rise to al Qaeda, Iblis state, destroyed Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, caused chaos in Egypt. Open your eyes to it! The guardians of the Iblisian state, who raised their heads in individual countries, act on the orders of their Western masters, who are concerned about the prospect of eliminating the IG and restoring peace in the Middle East. This is not in their plans. Their task is to maintain for decades the military conflicts in the region, to divert from other world problems, to keep raw materials under constant control. No one should doubt the firmness of the position of the Russian leadership on the Middle East problem. We cannot endlessly listen to threats against us, silently observe how an international terrorist organization is gathering at our side, destroying countries and shedding the blood of millions of people. IG days are numbered. For those who are looking for addresses, I inform you that I am the first pilot of Russian aviation who dealt a blow to the positions of the Iblis state. And now I am at the helm in the sky of Syria. My address and telephone numbers are known, ”Ramzan Kadyrov said in an interview with the Republic of Poland.

"I am Fedayin Saddam"

In 2003, the war began in Iraq. I can tell you how we saw it - the young military leaders and people involved in the patriotic cause. At that time, we were reading out literature that was already permitted - books by Julius Evola and Guenon, were evil anti-Americanists, and pushed the thresholds of the Iraqi embassy, where we were asked to send us, as Spanish volunteers, to help “good Saddam” to “beat bad Yankees”. The Arabs smiled at the magnificent pitch whiskers, but did not hurry to send us anywhere.

At the embassy, where we had already become accustomed, and without embarrassment, we moved along long corridors, then leafing through incomprehensible books in Arabic, or devastating the kitchen, we were taken for our own people, affectionately calling Saddam fedadins. Towards the summer, a letter was delivered from the son of Saddam Udey Hussein al Tikriti. He wrote that, despite the aggression of the imperialists, Iraq will survive, the gardens of Baghdad will rustle, and the good old life will begin under the wise leadership of the Ba'ath Party. Separately, he said thanks to the Russian friends, but refused to help, asserting that there was no one more devoted to the Iraqi army. Of course, all these were common words, and Uday himself would be killed in Mosul in a shootout in a month and a half.

We must pay tribute: the real Fedayin Saddam - and it was a volunteer police - lasted until the fall of the regime of Hussein and then joined the partisan movement. This organization was created by Uday in 1995 and became its commander-in-chief. True, the idea of Udei to turn this militia into an elite personal army failed. In September, the scandal broke 1996: Saddam Hussein suddenly found out that high-tech military equipment and heavy machinery strangely flow from the Republican Guard to the Fedaiins.

Of course, now the Fedains of Saddam are put up in an unattractive form - allegedly they carried out all the whims of their commander: throughout the country they captured beautiful girls for him, cut off tongues from opponents of the regime and intimidated the population. And in 1998, in the Shiite city of Karbala, the Fedayins in black robes and black helmets Darth Vader covered their faces raided people who they suspected of attempting to attack BAAS secretary Izzat Ibrahim - hundreds of people were thrown into prison and tortured.

Izat Ibrahim - the right hand of Saddam - became the chief military commander of the IS in Iraq. Photo: Jockel Finck / AP

This armed group took an active part in the executions of prostitutes organized by Uday Hussein. But at the same time, when the invasion of Iraq began, the command of the US Army declared: "It is not the regular units of the Iraqi army that have the most fierce resistance, but the so-called Saddam fedahins are fanatically paramilitary units."

During the war, Uday said that the war should be total and there should be no one left who could rejoice over the victory over Iraq. And then the massacre in Umm Qasr, in Basra, in Az-Zubayr, in An-Nasiriyah, in An-Najaf was already in full swing ...

By the way, in Arabic “Fedayin” means “sacrificing himself.” After the fall of Saddam’s regime, the Fedayins, the commanders close to him, launched a partisan movement in Iraq and fought fanatically against the US Armed Forces. When the Islamic State began to take shape in the province, many of the militia joined its ranks - this explains the victories of the Islamic State.

But what about Izzat Ibrahim?

Russia's interest in the defeat of the takfirist grouping in Syria and Iraq arises in part because of the traditional friendly relations between Moscow and the countries that took shape during the Soviet era. Therefore, according to experts, the union of takfirists from the IG and the Baathists is extremely unpleasant for the Russian Federation, since the Baath League has always been a part of the Russian orbit of influence.

In addition, the reluctance of the official Baghdad to deal with the militants could lead to the displacement of the current regime and the strengthening of ISIS in Iraq, which is likely to lead to the return of the caliph to Syria and further, according to plans to establish control over many Arab, African and Central Asian countries. The latter can not but worry Russia, next to which Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are located.

In a conversation with the “Russian Planet”, the President of the Society for Friendship and Business Cooperation with Arab countries Vyacheslav Matuzov noted that he doubted the active participation of Baathists in the IG. According to him, all the talk about the role of "Saddam officers" among ISIS is conducted only to disguise the role of the United States in creating this terrorist structure.

"It is unlikely that all of them can be classified as" militants "by the state of age and health.

The militants from Chechnya organized, for example, in a separate division. Like the Libyan under the leadership of Abdel Hakim Belhadj. And so everywhere. Even if there are "Saddam officers", they are aged and hardly play any important role at all. Is that in the flushed imagination of a large specialist in the Middle East, "Comrade Bagdasarov," calling for the formation of volunteer battalions from Russia, "- said his version of Matuzov.

Konstantin Sivkov, First Vice-President of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, Doctor of Military Sciences, believes that the officers from the BAAS are actually Russian allies. Many of them were trained in academies in our country, he recalls.

“Therefore, first of all, the Russian special services need to work with them, establish contacts and transfer them to the number of allies of the Syrian government forces. Because these guys are actually fighting not for the “Islamic State”, they are fighting for the liberation of their country from the occupation regime, which they consider the current Iraqi authorities, who were imprisoned by the United States, ”explains Sivkov.

According to the expert, the Iraqi military need to get in touch, look for common ground for interaction and explain to them the prospects for the return of an independent Iraq. This is the only right strategy will deal a serious blow to the IG.

“As for the range of proposals for them, it is quite wide. It can be suggested that they go over to the side of the Syrian government and guarantee the corresponding social status in the army. The second step will be a guarantee of participation in the political life of Iraq, a return to the Iraqi army to the same positions and, perhaps, even an increase, taking into account the experience gained. The most important thing is to guarantee them that Iraq will no longer be under American control, and they will thus be able to take part in the liberation of Iraq from the American occupation, ”said Sivkov.

Obviously, the military formations winning victories throughout the Middle East are precisely the Fedadins of Saddam, the personnel soldiers trained by Russian specialists. Bomb attacks, the defeat of the Iraqi grouping in Syria is the main task, but we must remember that the problems will not be solved only with TNT rugs. Moscow should resume friendly contacts with the Ba'ath. After that, the IG will fall. The army of Saddam can become a friend of Russia.

If these Fedayins are such great warriors, why did they merge Iraq and Saddam so quickly? Already on their land they could rest. And now, together with other candidates in the desert, they are chasing and regretting the past.

In all this, one can see how the United States acts, like an elephant in a china shop. They came, they destroyed everything, without thinking about anything.
In principle, there is nothing more to expect from these cynical slow-thinking people. they do not think about anything else except the dollar. for the American God, this is the dollar, this is the only thing they depend on, and what really bothers them. The threat to the dollar, the biggest threat to the usa

It’s good that Kadyrov act as McCain and urge Muslims to jihad against the mattresses. And what, they do not shun any means and establish their own rules, so it is necessary to play with them according to their rules. Kadyrov, one hell will not be anything)). It's not for nothing that in Crimea I bought a T-shirt with him, Putin and Lavrov in unloading)))

Then, of course, the Kremlin will say that this is not an official position, but the call will remain ... And there will be something for the hot heads of the Transcaucasian republics to do. They need some kind of goal.

I put a "minus", I'm sorry, but this is not possible, Russia needs to find friends, and not another "crap on its ... opu", therefore I recommend to learn more about what "jihad" is, because there is a small jihad and a big jihad, and between these There is a huge difference in concepts, I ask Muslims to respond on this issue!

It seems to me that the author is right that the former military of the Iraqi army and the fedayeen are needed, the more soldiers leave the ranks of IS, the faster and with fewer victims it will be possible to end this plague. “As for the range of proposals for them, it is enough wide. It can be suggested that they go over to the side of the Syrian government and guarantee an appropriate social status in the army. The second step will be a guarantee of participation in the political life of Iraq, a return to the Iraqi army to the same posts and, perhaps, even a promotion, taking into account the experience gained. The most important thing is to guarantee them that Iraq will no longer be under American control, and thus they can take part in the liberation of Iraq from the American occupation, ”Sivkov said. I agree with him. Our Foreign Ministry should begin work in this direction, if of course it has not yet begun.

but it is possible in more detail ..., it would be interesting to hear an eyewitness account.

People sat on the roofs, on the bridge and watched like a 3D movie. Do not believe me, but even with a wheelchair a woman walked in front of me! Almost at Sadovoy, and this is quite far even from the CMEA building and in another direction, the doctors picked up an ambulance for the wounded, I do not know the further fate. People nearby fool .... the impression is that there is no fear even nearby - they stand and watch. And with me one fell over and at that moment there was no shooting - obviously they worked with a silencer and stuffed civilians on the counter. Then they drove the army men with an armored personnel carrier, before that there was a guy in civilian clothes standing there like a poplar on Plyushchikha with “Stechkin” at the ready with both hands, they hit the KPVT on the roof. radios were shouting - the pilots were bombing the Kremlin, they were taken out with Khazbulatov. But when I surrendered to group "A" - "guys, I did not shoot, I have a machine gun in oil" and, but this is from the words of a number of ex- and it is opposite one, the very wiretap in which Bakatin leaked. Khazbulatov walked in silence. The group under the command of Zaitsev took them without firing a shot! The person with whom my life brought me, whom I trusted and who never said too much to me, has now passed away, said so - "I was in touch and the interception was going when we entered the House -" Moisten Alpha ". Yes - landing pulled up into the city when the tanks had already fired off - BMD were going from Smolenskaya, and before that there was only Vityaz and riot police on the street, and in minimal numbers, well, people in civilian clothes. This is only in the morning, and before that, when the cordon was removed from the House and Mokashev entered the CMEA building and drove to Ostankino in abandoned cars at night, in the center there is generally silence and no one, the defenders definitely destroyed one stall at night - he saw it himself, but those in the inner part of the Ring were not touched, the campaign was enough and did not reach Here's how it is brief and chaotic, but what I witnessed myself. Yes, here's another - there was a cop on the corner of the house before the shooting, as you can see from the PPS. Imagine a figure almost like a fat policeman's, well, maybe a little drier laughing in a greatcoat, over it a light bulletproof vest, well, on it like a bra on a woman, and in a helmet with Ksyusha in her hands she was in his hands like a toy and everything rushed from right to left for a couple of steps. how the first shooting began clearly from the roof - it formed near the house so it did not even face the wall - between the legs like a hedgehog and an assault rifle inside and with all its fullness - an adult knee-deep! I kind of AHHHHrenel from this kind, even for five seconds stood up in a stupor! laughing I swear to God - I haven’t seen SUCH like that before! That’s what an elephant would be like in a bun with a hedgehog!

From my impressions there was an ambulance standing in the middle of the street, people scurrying around, a trolleybus with its horns down and a feeling of something nasty happening around.
I really wanted to stay to see and fix everything in my memory, but the official need ... I remember the station, the confused cops and, lo and behold, the trains leaving on schedule ... for short.

The fact that they were ironed is one thing, but the fact that the SGA (USA) bought the general and he did not give a command to resist, that’s the main thing! The troops did not know what to do, they were disorganized, and so they were dispersed.

As former Iraqi army officers testify, the stupid and extravagant orders of Saddam Hussein and his son Kusai accelerated the collapse of the demoralized Iraqi army. Saddam Hussein and his son Kusai led the Iraqi army to defeat due to numerous extravagant orders and strategic miscalculations, while the combat units had almost no connection with each other, they were paralyzed, because they did not know what to do in which side to move. All this was combined with incompetence, poor preparation, cowardly leadership and mass desertion of thousands of soldiers who did not want to die for Saddam Hussein.

<...> The command structure was also in complete disarray from the very beginning. Since Saddam Hussein was terrified of conspiracies, he did not want to create a centralized command, but replaced it with a number of rival and warring factions, including the Republican Guard, Special Republican Guard and Saddam's Fedayuns. Their commanders simply did not speak to each other.

While these elite units were perfectly armed and received good money, the regular infantry units received almost nothing, and for everything they were given to the machine guns, one store each. The commanders of the regular units planned to undermine the elite units, distorting information and avoiding clashes with the advancing American army.

Many divisions were divided due to tribal hostility, which also hindered the coordination of actions. “We were like 10 separate armies waging our own war,” said Nabil Qusay, a former Baath officer and member of the Baath Party who fought the war huddled in a bunker in northern Baghdad, unaware of fighting in the city center. <...>
Personnel officers say that management betrayed them. Colonel Fike said: “Professional soldiers cannot fight without orders and an inspiring example from their leaders.” But instead of leadership, we had clowns. This is our tragedy. ”

The rules of war for 2500 years have not changed, divide and conquer, the author of the rights must bring discord into the "grouping" - later, some must commit suicide, others poison themselves, others disassemble a grenade at home and explode. IMHO.

Finally, at least one author on the site said that the Islamic State is not a bunch of fanatics with AK and the military success is due to the former military of Hussein, whom the Americans simply threw out into the street, seize power in Iraq and put power in the power structures loyal to them. And they became the core of the IG.

Yes, here on the forum the comrades already laid out this information ... but apart from the minuses from the young quacks of the patriots, they didn’t get anything))) and so many orientalists wrote and talked about this for a long time
Haji Bakr brought the military professionalism to ISIS with him and influenced the transition to the Islamists of many other former Iraqi officers and Ba'ath members.

The most unusual feature of ISIS is that the former Ba'ath members, the mid-level military of the army of Saddam Hussein, were actually able to take control and take advantage of not the most influential ...

      No negotiations with the terrorists.

A strange comment if you look at where it came from. I don’t put a minus, but I want to note that this is how the drums are broadcasting - no negotiations with terrorists, especially Russians, who are terrorizing the unfortunate Ukraine, the Syrian moderate opposition and even him with his own political steps.
If a person is taken away from his house, land, work - his own country, forced to live according to laws that are alien and nasty to him, put on his neck the boss-traitor, he willy-nilly, if he has at least a little sense of self-esteem, will begin to take revenge. In this case, of secondary importance is who to be friends with, hatred comes first. So who is he? Terrorist?
Return to him the house, family, work, return HIS homeland to him and he will cease to be him.

Negotiations are needed! Many officers and soldiers in the IS got by chance or in a hopeless situation and it is imperative to negotiate with them, because they are not murderers, but soldiers, and they must fight for their state and protect their people.

Everything seems to be a breeze, but we don’t really need a serious military conflict with the United States over Iraq. So it’s easier with promises.

The United States will never fight with Russia, as they are afraid of Russia. They can fight with Russia only with the wrong hands or in the media start some kind of pursuit against us in order to denigrate Russia on a global scale, as they do now.

Well then, clarify to the end that there were times when under Bashar's dad, Iraq and Surya were generally a "Union State", but not for long - "two birds in one den" did not sit still. Although Iraq sent a division to the Syrian front, to fight with Israel.

It is possible to deprive ISIS by the proposed method of regular officers. Isn't that what the so-called coordination center is doing? Those who sold for Saddam's pennies will also sell Al-Baghdadi. But this means measuring the thickness of the wallet with the Saud, but here "everything is not so simple." But to present materials that Al-Baghdadi, after the end of the war, made the decision of all fedayeen to count, but with factual evidence is an option.

What I like about Putin is that he doesn’t get personal!
We (Russia) never spoke badly about Saddam Hussein, and we have a starting point for negotiations with the Ba'ath.
It is necessary to take advantage of the old ties and persuade the Ba'ath to its side, and at the same time, it is necessary to hold talks with the current Iraqi government and obtain guarantees from them for the Ba'ath.
And then - we are on a horse, and striped-star - under a horse !!!

The theoretical, political, ideological base of the Ba'ath (PAAS) has been actively destroyed more than one day. On BV, without the hidden (or explicit) participation of renegades (traitors), nothing was done, by the way.
Comrade Sukhov and others like them are right at all 300% - here it is necessary to be more brutal! We are not cowboys, some sneaky or clownish descendants of Bandera; we and those people still have to establish life with them later and live next to each other.

Do not rely on frank friendship, not everyone is capable of it! But it is necessary to carry out explanatory work (a very difficult matter). Hussein fell victim to his own misconceptions and what, frank speculation, is true, against the background of the collapse of the USSR, then obvious to many.

If you have the honor and conscience, pride for your country, which was destroyed and bombed by the American armed forces, which without trial and investigation executed the leader of your great Arab state, if you have pride in your epaulets, for your ranks, for YOUR GREAT Iraqi The PEOPLE for which you are now responsible, you will be with Russia, with the state where Christians and Muslims live together !!!

Americans can only be envied. How clearly they worked in Libya, Iraq, etc. And Ukraine was taken from under our nose. And they do not care who and what says about them. They achieved their goals and that’s it. And with us, the leaders like the hunchback and the yolkin did not care about the country, but about themselves and their image. As a result, the country (USSR) is not. And where is the vaunted KGB and the invincible army? The country was lucky that it was headed by Putin, but the fifth column did not disappear. All these gozmans and hope are outspoken Amerian henchmen. They are at least in sight, but how many are hidden. So Americans need to be criticized, but much should be learned from them. In particular, it is high time to establish a service dedicated to destabilizing the situation in the camp of adversaries (I hope that there is one), but we need to work regardless of what Western colleagues say. They are not shy. Ashton Carter threatened us with terrorist attacks, and they need to organize some kind of ferguson in the states, let them scratch their turnips. It’s necessary to brush more bristly!

Are you suggesting that Russians become Americans? From creators to become destroyers?
      "...
      Like two different poles,
      In everything we are hostile:
We fight for light and peace
They are for the kingdom of darkness.
      ..."
We are different not only in goals, but also in methods of achieving them.

And he thinks badly. Who will negotiate with the Baathists? The second point, who will declare himself so in IS? The answer is unequivocal - nobody. But, you can divide Iraq into two states, North and South, and seduce the "group of comrades" with a tit in hand, and most importantly, in the hand of a living person, and not a dead terrorist smeared with crane droppings ...
