France returns Russia equipment from Mistral helicopter carriers

Information Agency TASSreferring to sources, reports that equipment is being delivered from Russia to Saint-Nazaire, including the electronic “stuffing,” from the Mistral helicopter carriers. According to the source of the news agency, the cargo included combat information and control systems, missile weapon control systems.
The French side notes that the entire set of equipment from the helicopter carriers destined for Russia will be sent to the Russian Federation by the end of November this year. It is reported that the dismantling and shipment of equipment, which costs about 700 million rubles, is carried out at the expense of French taxpayers.
As you know, earlier Paris sent Moscow compensation for the failure of the contract for the supply of two Mistral-type helicopter carriers. According to some data, the amount of compensation was about 950 million euros, according to others - about 1,1 billion euros. Materials appeared in the French press that Mistrals built for the Russian Federation could be bought by Egypt.
