Nadia Bogdanov - this is not Barbie!
... got cold. Has approached. I asked to see. They are such fools, with pride and joy began to show new Internet fun: the pioneers of the heroes in the foolish foreign entertainment images. I got a cold on my skin. I had heard about such a game before, but then everything calmed down somehow, and it was not possible to see with my own eyes. And here - on you, before the eyes of wild pictures: the faces of our pioneers, heroes, frozen in a new terrible vestments. I was especially shocked by the picture of Zina Portnova: a girl with a serious, courageous face, with a Barbie outfit at her head. It seemed that Zina was looking at me from the screen and asked: “Has it sunk?” ...
- Do you know who these guys are? - I asked.
-Well yes. Pioneers are heroes.
And so calmly I was told that these pioneers were selling chips in a nearby kiosk.
“We just don’t know this one, Nadia Bogdanov,” the boys added. - What did she do?
I am a bad psychologist, and a teacher and I, too, no. Probably, it was necessary to respond in some other way, stronger. After all, they say that one phrase can make a person reconsider his life. I could not do this. But she said:
- Nadya was in a partisan detachment. She twice died at the hands of the Nazis and miraculously saved herself. She was brutally tortured, burned a star on her back, poured ice-cold water on the frost and beat them with ramrod. But she did not betray her. And you turn her into a fairy Ding-ding. Someone will come to your great-grandfathers in the cemetery and paint a mustache and a beard on their monuments. And then she will laugh at it.
And I went away. The only thing that comforted me at that moment: I did not hear the laughter behind me - the boys were silent. And we walked with the little boy rather slowly.
And I thought about Nadya. I can not fail to bring here her terrible and full of inhuman courage history.
Three Second Births of Azure
This girl is the youngest of those who are awarded the title of pioneer hero. After all, when the war began, Nadia was only nine years old. And she was born in Belarus and before the war lived in an orphanage.
In the first war months, the orphanage was evacuated to the city of Frunze of the Kirghiz SSR. But Nadia was not going to live behind the back of adults. In the train, she collected active children from other orphanages, and they slipped away during one of the stops, deciding to go to war. The guys wanted to get to the front line, but were in Vitebsk, behind enemy lines. But this did not stop them, they wanted revenge on the invaders. Then it seemed that it would be easy to fulfill our plans: the Germans didn’t let a single adult pass without a search, but they practically paid no attention to the children - are there many of them homeless!
The guys decided to blow up a German ammunition depot. The explosives were procured only by them in a known manner. But they did not know how to use it - children are children. And the trouble happened: the boys and girls had not yet reached the warehouse, and the explosives exploded. All died except Nadi. It was her "first rebirth" ...
By some miracle, the little girl sought out the partisan detachment of the 2 of the Belarusian Brigade (according to some sources, the 6 of the second). And persuaded to take her into the ranks of the fighters.
In the meantime, the October Revolution holiday was approaching. The city is captured by the enemy, residents are tormented by uncertainty, languishing, waiting for liberation. I had to show them that the liberation would come. And the partisans decided to hang out in the city in honor of the holiday three red flags. This task was assigned to ten Nadushka and twelve-year-old Van Zvontsov. Adults to get into the city was simply unrealistic: the fascists searched everyone. And even if the hat smelled of gunpowder, they were immediately shot.
... At dawn 7 November 1941, two dangling kids came into town to sell brooms. Small, miserable, they dragged the sleigh on themselves. What suspicion could there be? Who would have thought that among the broomsticks are stored three red banners that little men want to hang out in a city captured by a fierce enemy? However, Vanya, who was not accustomed to partisan work, was very nervous. Nadia decided to calm him down. And, barely seeing a German patrol, she herself came up and asked to buy a broom from her. The fascists laughed and chased her away.
As soon as it got dark, the children set about completing the task. They hung the flags safely, but let down their care. Nadia made her way to the cigarette factory, collected a gift for the partisans, knowing that they had nothing to smoke. This was a fatal mistake.
Already on the road from the city the Nazis caught up with the guys and searched. Found cigarettes. They did not begin to talk, they were immediately taken to headquarters. The children held hands all the way and wept.
At the headquarters they were tortured, put face to the wall and shot over their heads. But without having achieved anything, they threw themselves in the cellar to the wounded Soviet prisoners for the night, in order to get rid of the next day.
In the morning before the execution, the prisoners tried to block the children by themselves.
- Beast! Spare the guys! - they shouted to fascists and fell under their bullets ...
From horror experienced Nadia lost consciousness. And it happened for a fraction of a second before the shot prepared for it thundered ...
After a while the girl came to her senses. She lay with the dead. Among them was Vanechka Zvontsov. Nadia got out of the ditch and went to the forest, where she was found by the partisans. This is how her “second birth” happened ...
After this terrible incident, the partisans for a long time did not let the girl alone on assignments. Along with her, the head of the partisan intelligence service Ferapont Slesarenko always stayed. But it was very difficult to keep a bold, quick girl in idle. Nadia was eager to avenge the fascists.
Once she, pretending to be a beggar woman, brought information to the detachment, thanks to which the partisans realized that the time was right for striking the fascists. And the blow was struck on the night after reconnaissance.
In this fight, Slesarenko was wounded in the arm. He fell unconscious, and when he came to himself, he had already lost a lot of blood. Together with Nadia, they are very far behind the partisans who have already left for the forest. Then Ferapont ordered the girl to leave him and go to the squad for help. Nadia did just that. But before the detachment was about ten kilometers, it was very hard to walk in deep snow. Nadya walked about three kilometers and came across a small hamlet. Near one of the houses where the police were having dinner, the girl saw a horse harnessed to a sledge. She quietly sat in the sled, sent them to the forest, found Slesarenko. And together they returned to the squad! Just think: a little girl saved an adult ...
... In February, 1942, Nadia carried out another task: it was necessary to blow up the bridge to Karasevo. The girl made her way safely to the destination and laid the explosives. But I did not have time to go far - I came across the policemen. They searched Nadia, found the remaining piece of explosives in her backpack. A partisan pretended to have found him here on the road. And here in front of the policemen the bridge blew up. They understood everything, tied up the girl and brought to the German headquarters.
What did Nadia go through here ... She was beaten with ramrod. Burned on the back of a star. Put on hot coals. They poured water in the cold. But nothing is achieved. A small heart that did not know mothering, because Nadya grew up in an orphanage ... Where did she find the strength to endure all this? ...
The fascists, having considered the bloodied, unfeeling girl as dead, were thrown into the cold, because our troops were already approaching, the beasts had to retreat. Nadia was picked up by the villagers of Zanalyuchka. And went out! But Nadia could no longer participate in the war: she practically lost her sight. So it happened her "third rebirth" ...
A few years after the war, Nadia was sent to Odessa, and there she came to see Academician Vladimir Petrovich Filatov. The doctor largely returned her lost eyesight, Nadya could see again! She returned to Vitebsk, got a job at the plant and did not tell anyone that she fought. But once I heard on the radio Ferapont Slesarenko. He said that he would never forget the dead comrades, and among them he called Nadia Bogdanova, thanks to whom he remained alive. It was then that Nadia announced that she had survived ...
She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, World War I degree, medals. All my life I lived in Vitebsk, raised four children. Nadezhda Bogdanova (Kravtsova) 21 August 1991 of the year died. And her squad was called Azure ...
