On the court session in the case of Savchenko
In the city court of the city of Donetsk (Rostov region) a second meeting is being held on the case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, who is accused of involvement in the murder of two VGTRK journalists. At the beginning of the meeting, Savchenko announced that she needed a lie detector and a projector to display her testimony on the screen. The court considered this to be excesses, and the meeting began without the technical means requested by the accused.
At trial, Savchenko said that she was an activist of the Maidan, after which she ended up in the Aidar battalion.
