Petro Poroshenko met with British Prime Minister David Cameron in New York. During the conversation, the leaders of the countries discussed, among other things, the situation in Ukraine, Interfax-AVN with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian president.

“Petro Poroshenko informed the British Prime Minister David Cameron about the situation in the Donbass,” the release says.
“The interlocutors agreed that holding the elections of October 18 and November 1 is unacceptable and undermines the Minsk agreements. President Poroshenko stressed that the result of such a violation of the agreements should be sanctions against Russia ",
told the press service.
In return, Cameron assured Poroshenko “in the readiness to continue supporting Ukraine in protecting its territorial integrity both politically and in practice - by sending military instructors and targeted assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message said.
