On a visit to the landfill!

As part of combat training aviation Of the Eastern Military District, an air regiment was transferred from the Dzemgi airfield (Khabarovsk Territory) to the Central Angular Airfield.
In the training program, the crews of the MiG-31 high-altitude interceptors, the upgraded Su-27CM fighters and the newest Su-30М2 and Su-35С work out the tasks of detecting and hitting air targets both individually and as part of a pair.

At the airport reigns normal prelaunch training.

The main difference from conventional flight training is the firing of air-to-air missiles.

as well as the destruction of the target cannon armament

The targets used are luminous air bombs SAP-250, dropped from a height of 10 thousand meters

Everything is ready, you can start ....

Su-35 (according to NATO codification: Flanker-E + [1]) is the Russian multi-purpose super-maneuverable fighter of the 4 ++ generation with engines with controlled thrust vectoring (UHT). Developed in the Sukhoi Design Bureau. Modification for the Russian Air Force is designated as Su-35С. Earlier on international air shows under the Su-35 index the Su-27М was displayed.

The “4 ++ generation” is conditional and only indicates that, in terms of the aggregate characteristics (ZOCT Scoring by 5th Gen Metrics), the fighter is very close to the characteristics of the fifth generation fighter. With the exception of stealth technology and AFAR, it satisfies most of the requirements for 5-generation airplanes.

During the flights, the techniques of simple and complex piloting are also worked out, including over the sea with elements of combat maneuvering (unfortunately I didn’t see this in view of the distance from the place where the task was carried out directly).

Someone just took off, but someone has already shot out and lands ....

And then, taxiing into the parking lot ...

inter-flight training begins again

and again in the sky ....

Joint flights will last two more days and will be completed by summing up, but by the first results, as the command of the two air regiments emphasizes, all young pilots successfully fired rocket firing and will be allowed to take on air defense duty.

Yes, cool report. I am glad that "there is fuel and a plaque has risen." Good luck, men, and so that the number of takeoffs equals the number of landings.
P.S. The report contains a photo of the Su-30SM, but they are not mentioned in the text. Either the author forgot to mention, or he accidentally inserted the pictures.

as the command of the two air regiments emphasizes, all young pilots successfully fired missiles and will be allowed to take combat duty on air defense.

Based on the photographs presented in the publication, only R-73 melee missiles were used in the training firing (pictured).

It is difficult to carry out the tasks of "air defense combat duty" using only theirs, to put it mildly request The "main caliber" in carrying out air defense tasks is the P-27. It is with them that they carry combat duty (pictured).

By the way, there is a Su-30SM with medium-range thermal missiles in the photo, unfortunately apparently there was apparently no use of medium-range radar missiles R-27R and R-77. But apparently, there are no conditions for the Central Corner airdrome to raise radio contrast targets into the air.

Yah no Rather, on more expensive medium-range missiles, they simply saved. And as for
new R-77, then I have never seen them suspended on planes of the 23-th regiment based Jemgah.

“The targets are the luminous aviation bombs SAP-250.” How to decipher it?
