White balls in memory of the victims of fascism
On the second Sunday of September, the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Fascism is celebrated in the world. For Donbass, fighting with new fascism, this day is now particularly symbolic.
On Sunday, 13 September, dozens of people came to the memorial "Your Liberators, Donbass" in Donetsk. Unfortunately, the day turned out to be cold and gloomy, but this did not prevent the arrival of respected veterans. The celebration was organized by the Free Donbass public movement.
The participants honored the memory of the victims of fascism - both the then and the present - with a minute of silence. There was a concert at which military songs were performed. Especially everyone was touched by a very young artist who sang "At a nameless height."
The head of the Free Donbass movement, a deputy of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yury Sivokonenko, wished veterans health, joy and peace. He donated to the museum of the Great Patriotic War a book called “The Great Victory in the Lens of Yevgeny Chaldey”. The gift was accepted by the head of the museum Lyudmila Dekurno.
About Eugenia Chaldea must be said separately. Almost everyone saw his photos from the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. In particular - the famous snapshot of hoisting the Victory Banner over the Reichstag. But few know the author of this and other outstanding photos. And an outstanding photographer was born not just anywhere, but in Yuzovka (which later became the city of Stalino, and today, Donetsk). His military photographs were used at the Nuremberg trials as evidence of the crimes of fascism. A photo of Marshal G.K. Zhukov, taken by Chaldea, was used to create a monument to the commander in Moscow.
Currently, an initiative group has been established in Donetsk to install the monument to Yevgeny Chaldea in his hometown. A question is being discussed for this monument to be posed on the centenary of the photojournalist’s birthday, in 2017.
Let's return to the rally in honor of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Fascism. It was also attended by the commander of the international brigade "Pyatnashka" Ahra Avidzba (call sign "Abkhaz"). According to him, there is not much to say, you just need to say from the bottom of my heart: "Thank you, dear veterans, for what you have done."
Veterans were awarded certificates of honor, flowers and memorable gifts. In addition, the organizers of the rally awarded several fighters of the current war.
The concert continued. White balloons were distributed to all those present. Which were then released into the overcast sky.
On the same day, a similar commemorative event took place in the Lugansk People’s Republic. The head of the LPR Igor Plotnitsky laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the Nazis OUN-UPA in Lugansk. Incidentally, this monument was damaged during the attacks of the already new Bandera, who came to the Donbass with a punitive operation. The head of the LC said that if for Europe everything ended in 1945, thanks to the Red Army, here Bandera continued to kill people for 10 years.
Today in Ukraine they are trying to make Bandera and his minions "heroes". Shout them "Glory." And the followers of this pseudo-hero continue to kill people - not only in the Donbas, but also in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa.
The true heroes are the veterans of the Great Patriotic War - those who are worshiped in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and are trying to defame in the territory of Ukraine, ruled by the Maidan junta. And these heroes are joined by new ones - those who defend the People's Republic, despite all the trials.
Meanwhile, the enemy is engaged in false propaganda in the style of Goebbels. The so-called "press center of the ATO" spread "information" about the "killing" of three civilians of the Novoazovsk region by the DPR fighters. This lie was refuted by the administration of Novoazovskiy district, the military police, and the Ministry of Defense.
As reported by the Donetsk Agency News, The Ministry of Defense of the DPR stated that the opposite side "is judging the DPR army by the deeds of its military personnel and the crimes that they commit in the occupied territory" and "is slipping to the level of the tabloid press."
But they themselves create many problems for civilians of Donbass, even now, in conditions of calm on the fronts. Thus, in the village of Panteleimonka, near Gorlovka, an elderly man and woman were blown up by a mine-stretch. With fragmental wounds, they were taken to hospital. And how many more mines laid by modern Ukrainian fascists, harbors the land of recalcitrant land ...
(Especially for the "Military Review")
