“In the Orenburg region, at the tactical exercises with live firing, the artillerymen of the Central Military District (TSO) inflicted a fire attack on the battle formations of the advancing enemy,” the release said.

According to the press service, “firing was carried out from the Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers, Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers, Khosta and Nona-SVK self-propelled artillery guns”.

“The tactical exercise took place at the Totsk training ground as part of the final stage of the camp artillery collection of the 2 Guards Army of the Central Military District. More than 1,6 thousand troops and over 500 units of weapons and military equipment took part in it ”.

And in the Kaliningrad region, training was conducted by the Baltic Marines fleet.

“At the Khmelevka training ground in the Kaliningrad region, a battalion tactical exercise of the marine fleet of the Baltic Fleet was conducted, during which the servicemen worked on coastal defense against the landing of a conditional enemy assault force”, said Vladimir Matveyev, a representative of the fleet.
