The Novorossiysk submarine belongs to the 636.3 Varshavyanka project. These are diesel-electric submarines, the main advantages of which include reduced noise. The Novorossiysk submarine is the first boat built by this project for the Russian Navy to pass all the necessary tests.

The truth is that the so-called "hysteria" here is purely ostentatious. In NATO, they are not foolish generals either, they sit and know what's what really. And they have long known, as well as you and I, how many, where and what boats will be located. And the media will make an ostentatious hysteria so that some are scared, while others once again write about diapers.

Sometimes it seems to me that the NATO command is deliberately sending its next ship towards the Black Sea in order to finally lower the level of VO comments (with these unfortunate diapers, "dryers", etc.) to some censor. Such a tough trolling wassat

What are you apologizing for? Because of the right to be called Russian? You live in Russia, which means Russian. Or is it important to you that you are Kalmyk, Buryat, Russian, Chechen, Udmurt and so on? There will still be a replenishment for the Black Sea Fleet. Go nuts in NATO?

On August 19, 2015, at Okskaya Shipyard OJSC (Navashino, Nizhny Novgorod Region; the enterprise is part of the VBTH division of the international transport group UCL Holding), a solemn ceremony of laying down a service and crew boat (communication boat) of project 21270, built by order of the Russian Ministry of Defense, took place. The contract for the construction of a boat of project 21270 was signed on May 22, 2015. The designer of the boat is Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau (St. Petersburg).
It is reported that the boat is designed to provide official patrols and the adoption of parades of the Russian Navy. The area of use of the boat is on the Black Sea, in the coastal sea zone with a distance of up to 50 miles from the place of refuge. The total displacement of the boat is about 110 tons, length 27,4 meters.
Earlier, from 2003 to 2009, four communication boats of project 21270 for the Russian Ministry of Defense were delivered by Severnaya Verf Shipbuilding Plant OJSC in St. Petersburg (Burevestnik, Albatros, KSV-57, Serafim Sarovsky).

in the USA, it seems that they have long abandoned the construction of new diesel-electric submarines because of their complete lack of competitiveness compared to nuclear submarines (and the old ones seem to be all decommissioned

Refused. But now they rented the Gotland NEPL with an aerobic installation. And it is possible that in the future it will start building something similar.

Well, this, among other things, means that the base in Novorossiysk is generally built and ready to receive submarines.

I’m ready. And parking places for submarines too

Volodya, I gave you a "+" for a healthy sarcasm, but you shouldn't recklessly believe our open press, which traditionally underestimates the performance characteristics of our weapons.

And I don’t believe it. It’s just that somehow a couple of years ago there was information about firing from a training ground on the combat fields of the training ground.
And then something went about 3 hundred kilometers. This does not mean that the Kyrgyz Republic has such performance characteristics. The question was asked by EMNIP about what range the boat shot.

And what, * Caliber * is no longer suitable for this. After all, it’s not all the same for him to scratch his BC, he seems to be produced in a tactical version. And the load depends on the tasks assigned to the ship. But 18 * beds * for various long products are ready.

No, not really good. Shooting at a subsonic target is not an Aegis test for lice. Here on the business center - another matter. But alas, there is no ballistics on them (boats)

There was no official base, but a whole brigade of diesels perfectly "lodged" in Cienfuegos ... So, not all that glitters is gold!

NOT her best place. Each time, go out along a duct with a length of kilometers 5. Yes, and the Cubans now have a base ... It’s only called. As a place of temporary deployment in those years, it could and was suitable. For constant think no

Did you decide to show your sarcasm? Hmm, clever. And the main thing in the case Is it a lot for you on two ocean fleets of 12 MAPLs? The Black Sea Fleet and the Baltic Fleet do not count, since there is no place for them to turn around in these puddles ... but there are still interests in Atlantic. But you are right, 7 pieces of Russia for the eyes, like a sea power. We will build ships of the coastal zone and consider ourselves a super-duper power with the coastal fleet.

No, not a little. But here's just one small, almost insignificant detail. The construction period of "Ash" is on average 4-5 years. About the same number of "Borey" boats are under construction. Not taking into account the lead boats - 11 boats of the "Borey" type were laid in 5 years, 2 were completed. In 6 years, 4 boats of the "Yasen" type were laid ". Completed ZERO. Backfill question, how many decades will it take to build 25" Ash "and the same number of" Boreyev "???
So, nevertheless, the realities voiced by our General Staff are closer to me, where the number of boats of these projects will be cut by 7 and 8 hulls

Do you think that they built one and only then lay the other? Then yes, in your years 200 hi laughing

That's about it. Workshop No. 55, where submarines are built, has three slipway lines. Now count. The time between the bookmark and the descent for Ashenes is about 3 years, for Boreevs it is about the same.
Bookmark and launch dates can be found online. For 6 years, 7 boats were laid. You need only 50 boats of 2 projects. And this means that it will take about 36 years. And so that they all were in combat composition - I think about 40 years, no less ...
