Attach Moldavia to Romania so that it “does not suffer”

51
At the congress of the Popular Movement party, the former president of Romania, Traian Basescu, proposed to rid Moldova of the “torments of the transition period.” In order not to suffer, Moldova must unite with Romania. Only this will give her a chance to be in the European Union. To launch the unification initiative, you only need to hold a referendum.

Attach Moldavia to Romania so that it “does not suffer”

Speaking at a conference of the Popular Movement party, the ex-president of Romania, Traian Basescu, put forward the initiative to hold a referendum on unification with Moldova, reports TASS. He recalled that he offered to do this to his Moldovan colleagues: Vladimir Voronin, Mihai Ghimpu and the current leader, Nikolai Timofti.

At the congress, Basescu explained his position: “Moldova’s chance to get into the European Union is an association with Romania. I told both Voronin and Ghimpu and Timofti that this is a solution for both states. ”

In addition, Basescu criticized the current Romanian President Klaus Johannis (who, as is known, declared the country's main goal to join the euro zone). “You can’t think of anything funnier,” Basescu said of this decision. - Obligation under the agreement on accession to the EU can not be the goal of the country. The goal of the country should be the unification of Romania and Moldova. "

Earlier, Basescu called Moldova “Romanian land” and proposed to make “the reunification of the two states the third largest national project of Romania after joining NATO and the EU”. As the results of a recent study, reminds TASS, in Romania, the project Basescu supported about 68% of citizens.

Other statements made by the former president at the congress lead IA "REGNUM".

According to Basescu, “Romanian politicians lack the courage to discuss this topic, and the Moldovan ones all the more.” However, the former leader of Romania is convinced that the right moment for the preparation of an appropriate referendum in both states has already come. This decision promises benefits for both Moldova and Romania.

“Romania will strengthen its position in NATO and the EU; the Republic of Moldova will be able to get rid of the torments of the transition period, which, judging by the events in Ukraine, will never end,” Basescu said.

Romania, he said, should “address historical errors ". Traian Basescu said: “Romania today cannot live by the conspiracy of two criminals, Stalin and Hitler, signed by two other criminals, Ribbentrop and Molotov. Today we live according to their agreement, which divided the Romanians into two states. "

Clearly, we’ll add on our own that the mentioned Basescu, and with it 68% of the polled citizens of Romania, Moldovans are not considered a nation. And if there is no separate Moldovan people, there can be no state with its borders and government. Must be a single and indivisible Romania. Hence, the Basescu project called “Great Romania”. In the end, most Romanians approve of this idea, so why not arrange a referendum?

However, Traian Basescu is cunning. Even if we discard the well-known historical events, forget about conflicts and the Nazi past, which seems to threaten to return somewhere, then it will not work to ignore the mood of Moldovan citizens.

If among the Romanians 68% would like to “Greater Romania”, that is, simply speaking, the accession of Moldova, then among the overwhelming majority of Moldovans the projects of Traian Basescu are not approved.

Opinion polls invariably demonstrate: the majority of Moldovans are against unification with Romania. In addition, according to various sociological polls, most of the country's population wants integration with the Customs Union, and not with the EU.

It is also important to know something else: among those Romanians who are ready to vote for the “Great Romania”, many have no idea about how Moldova lives. “Inscop” survey conducted on July 9-14 on July 2015, showedthat a significant part of Romanians (more than 40%) does not follow the situation in Moldova and does not know anything about the events taking place there!

Of course, these forty percent are hardly aware of the political News Moldova. And gentlemen should know them to potential "unifiers".

The Moldovan Socialist Party in the Parliament in the spring came out in favor of banning organizations promoting the idea of unification of Romania with Moldova (the so-called unionism). This initiative was a response to the May procession, organized by small supporters of the unification of Moldova with Romania in Chisinau. The press wrote that the protesters shouted not only calls for Moldova to join Romania, but also anti-Russian slogans.

“The PSRM registered a bill declaring all organizations and political parties that are in favor of overthrowing the state system to be illegal,” сказал party leader Igor Dodon. “We insist that this issue be put on the parliament’s agenda.”

"Vesti Moldova" remind that 5 of June in Chisinau supporters of the “association” held a rally and march at the same time (5 thousand participants) dedicated to the 203 anniversary of the conclusion of the Peace of Bucharest. The action was organized by the public organization “Action-2012”. Its supporters claim that the 1806-1812 Russian-Turkish war ended. The Bucharest peace treaty between the Russian and Ottoman empires "led to the occupation of Romanian territory between Prut and Dniester." Some politicians in Chisinau hold a similar opinion, despite the fact that Romania as a state did not exist at that time.

The collection of signatures by the PSRM for banning the activities of supporters of the “association” began in late July of 2015.

But forty percent of Romanians are apparently not interested in this issue. Like the former Romanian president.

There is also an opinion that Moldova may turn into a new hot spot. Too much of Ukraine. However, Ukraine will also be tied up here - what kind of "Great Romania" without a piece of Ukraine? Already, Basescu knows that there are one and a half hundred thousand Romanians living in Ukrainian Bessarabia. So, it is necessary, like the Moldovans, to give them a "chance."

Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland wrote recently in The New York Times that Transnistria could become the next Crimea.

Both Moldovan supporters of European integration, and supporters of the Eurasian Economic Union are now indignant towards the Moldovan elites, считает Secretary General of the Council of Europe. In the near future, the country may face serious economic shocks if the authorities fail to do everything necessary to restore external financing, suspended in anticipation of concrete actions to combat corruption.

According to Jagland, Moldova’s relations with Transnistria are deteriorating. A full-blown conflict is unlikely, the politician believes, but “in such a tense environment” the situation can get out of control.

As a result, we will add on our own the topic of a probable international conflict, in which not only Romania, Moldova and Transdniestria, but also Ukraine will be drawn, has already reached the level of pan-European discussion.

Apparently, Basescu and forty percent of Romanians do not care. The main thing is to attach, and there at least to fight with Russia. Romania is "great."

Leading Researcher at RISI Vasily Kashirin said Pravda.Ruthat the ethnocratic model of the state operates in Moldova, however ethnocracy has problems of its own self-identification: “Now the government includes the liberal party of Mr. Mihai Ghimpu, which is absolutely pro-Romanian, that is, advocating union with Romania. They do not hide it. Their electorate, stably voting for this party, fluctuates around the 10% of the elections. These same 10% of the Moldavian population have a pronounced Romanian national identity. They consider themselves not Moldovans, but Romanians. Another thing is that their party is still a minority, of course, they do not have the majority. ”

Only ten percent.

At the same time, Kashirin stressed that the influential politicians of Moldova understand that they are completely dependent on the West. And of course, Washington and Brussels will not give the go-ahead to change the borders in Europe. Therefore, the Moldovan authorities pursue a policy of gradual de-Russification of Moldova, which leads to the construction of the second separate Romanian state.

About exactly how Romania assumes at the expense of Moldova to make itself "great", told "Russian Planet" Andrei Safonov, President of the Association of Independent Political Scientists of Transnistria. According to him, Romania intends to unite with Moldova in the EU only together with Transnistria.

Bucharest intends to prevent the transformation of Moldova (including Transnistria) in the buffer zone between Russia and NATO. The expert explained that Romanian politicians see the following scenario: Russian troops are withdrawn, and instead of peacekeepers on the Dniester - civilian observers. The latter will close their eyes to the attempt to solve the Transnistrian issue by force. “In a word, the entire former MSSR should become part of Romania (no matter what sauce), and then the combined“ Great Romania ”, which left on the left bank of the Dniester and the approaches to Odessa, can safely, with Transnistrian“ appendage ”, join NATO. Perhaps this is how the Romanians put the question before the United States, hoping to get thanks for the fact that after the decision to deploy US missile defense elements in Bucharest, the United States has become America’s closest ally and confidant in the region, ”the analyst believes.

We summarize: the source of Romanian greatness is the United States of America. And if so, the Romanians and their politicians may indeed not be interested in the opinion of the majority of Moldovans. You can even not know anything about Moldova. What for? Join - let's figure it out.

Lost only about this: Uncle Sam "great" does not like. “Great” on the planet is only one.

How do you want the Romanians of Moldova to take their hands. However, it will not be able to enter the whole of Romania, only in parts. Probably another country will be divided.

How do you want the Romanians Moldova to get their hands on.

That's right. They liked to host up to 40-th year.

I am a native resident of Chisinau, like my grandfather and grandmother.
They were not bourgeois, but they had more than a hectare of land.
Themselves processed, harvested, brought to the market.
The family had 10 children and everyone helped them with the housework.

My grandmother did not like 2 things: cats and Romanians, because those and others climbed into other pans without demand.
During the Great Patriotic War, the Germans went into the courtyards and asked:
          - Womb! Is there a cock? Come on!
Sometimes, children were treated to chocolate.
Maybe in other regions it was different, because in Moldova there was a deep rear, and the Germans did not rage.
And the Romanians, like the Turks before them, broke into the peasant yards and brazenly swept away everything.

And regarding the unification of Romania and Moldova, I think so:
Moldovan politicians can talk as beautifully as possible about the brotherhood of our peoples and the desire to unite with Romania, BUT!
Then they will have to dissolve the Moldovan parliament, government, ministries and other lukewarm places and go to the Romanian boyars at best as deputies.
And who will voluntarily leave the "power trough"?
I am already silent about ordinary Moldovans: the older generation people remember how they labeled on Romanians, and what they were like.

          PS
Recently I was visiting an elderly couple.
The old man drank a couple of glasses of Cagora, and when it came to Romania, he spoke essentially:
          - “Romanians are kuryv with 12-th persons”.

BUT FOR THE ECONOMY OF MOLDOVA IS THE LAST DANCE!

For the Romanian economy too. One of the poorest countries in Europe is trying to annex one of the poorest countries in the CIS. Even if they act according to the scheme of a unified Germany, then a fall in the general standard of living is inevitable, frail Romania will have to somehow try to equalize the standard of living for both parts of a hypothetical single country, which will be painful primarily for the population of modern Romania.
And yet, yes, PMR, Gagauzia, and indeed, someone will certainly be strongly against this association, which is fraught.

If we go beyond the current political situation and diplomatic games, we can confidently say that the nadors of Romania and Moldova are indeed part of one whole. Judge for yourself gentlemen, one language, the same traditions, songs, dances, holidays, fairy tales .. As the Russian people are made up of Great Russians, Little Russians and Belarusians, so our people are made up of Moldoveni, Valahi, Ardeleni. But by the will of fate, one people was divided from imperceptible times into several principalities, and there was no "land digger" like Rurik, although there were attempts.
What am I talking about ... from the point of view of ethnosociology, we really are 1 people, and it would be logical to unite into one state.
From the point of view of internal political views, and to geopolitics in general (in this region), things are not so simple here. All the same, for 200+ years, under the influence of the Russian world, it divided Moldova and Romania not only territorially, but also to some extent culturally, conceptually.
Clearly, today's Moldova is an unstated state art. And I assure you, Romania would not enter the EU (today), would not cooperate with Hitler (once), but would exist by itself, as a separate (независимый) the subject of world politics, the idea of reunions would be approved by the vast majority of our (Moldavian) society.
      Sincerely, Native resident of Moldova.

As a former native inhabitant of Moldova, I can say that it is deeply purple for us ordinary people in Russia how and with whom you will live there. The main thing is that there would be no military rhetoric and escalation of war.
And as far as I remember the history, the Romanians, such a nation did not exist, but there were Moldovans, separated by rivers and oppressed by the Turks.
And these Moldavians were constantly saved by the Russians from destruction.
Only you Moldovans, indigenous people, do not remember this and you do not have gratitude.
I know for myself how the indigenous people kicked me out 2 years before the collapse of the Union.
Then the Russians were all bad. And now, little has changed.

Now they are reaping the benefits! Another thing surprises me, when all the events began in 1989, when all the events began, they said: "Under the Soviet Union, you learned what medicine, literacy and well-fed life are, under the Romanians the Moldovans who came out to the central street should have been beaten with sticks. The border passed through the" small raspberry " "and Iskra street (excuse me for the historical name)". I do not understand what the leadership of this country is trying to achieve, we all - Russians, Jews, Germans and many other nationalities and peoples have left. Now they are original, they just don’t know what to do with it (and they don’t know how to work and create) - as a result, as prostitutes try to sell themselves more. Who? And who pays more.

it is safe to say that the pressure of Romania and Moldova is really part of one whole

You don’t just have to turn everything upside down. Firstly, for a long time it’s not one whole since Moldova was assimilating with the peoples of the empire and then the USSR, and those who began to be called Romanians with Hungarians and all kinds of cygans in the 19th century. Secondly, when it appeared the first Moldavian state, and when is Romania? If we proceed from the similarity of peoples, then there should be a great Moldova, and not Romania. And the nationality of the people of this united state should be Moldovan. And if you really like analogies, you can imagine for example, for example, that the Russians at some point decide that they, for example, are Ukrainians and a common country should be called a great dill?
In general, all this is sad. Don't you disgust yourself? Probably the very last Papuan will not abandon his nation and his history, especially if the history was glorious and the ancestors were great. And Moldova just had both History and glorious ancestors, but what was there in Romanian history besides betrayal and which of the great ones it gave to the world?

If they begin to seriously pump in the information plan the idea of uniting Moldova and Romania into one state, then they will surely achieve success and prepare the electorate (Ukraine, for example, the people bought into the Euroassociation) for the desired result in the referendum. The result of the referendum is a very serious argument.
But recognizing the referendum on Moldova, it will be necessary to automatically recognize the referendum on the Crimea - so there is a double-edged sword.
And there is another hitch - who will give them Transnistria?)))))

The only reason why they still have not united is that they have been part of Russia for a long time, and a significant, if not most of the people have developed a negative attitude towards Western countries. In the south, where I live, there are pro-Romanians, but most of them speak Russian more often (the country is multinational, there are Moldovans, Gagauzians, Ukrainians, Russians, Bulgarians, Russian allows all these nationalities to communicate with each other), they look Russian TV channels, many Russian schools.

For example, I am a Moldovan, but by the will of fate I visited a Russian kindergarten, studied at a Russian school, and the Moldavian I know at the level of colloquial, became Russian-speaking, read Soviet books, and the west became suspicious and hostile to me.

The country's problem now is that we are not close to Russia on the one hand, and on the other hand, unification with Romania is potentially not possible. The country is torn to pieces. And to some extent Russia is to blame. Yeltsin drank CIS countries, including Moldova, which was so needed before that it was annexed to Russia twice. European prostitutes have a lot of money, a parliamentarian from the Communists came to our school, he transferred money on the fingers of whom and how much they bought, to whom 30 thousand euros, to whom 120 thousand. His former comrades on the phone admitted him. Why is Russia not showing the same activity in Moldova? Communists barely keep on membership dues. Will there be in Russia a couple of million euros to maintain the sphere of influence in Moldova?

You still don’t understand, everyone wants to get from us. And we need to think only about ourselves and about Belarus and Kazakhstan. And if we don’t benefit from sneezing, then do not sneeze.

Romanians consider Moldavians to be the second grade. For the Romanian, the Moldavian language sounds like a strongly collective-farm Romanian, as for us the Russian-Ukrainian surjik (Moldovan told). So Moldova is more drawn to us .....

Let them take it. Only without Transnistria and Gagauzia.
I think you can agree with the Romanians.

        "You say the Kemsk volost?"
Give them your apartment, you can add household members. And for these lands and for the people who are there for three quarters of ours without such "negotiators" they will figure it out

Romania’s desires are clear: 1) To snatch a piece of territory. 2) Cave in front of NATO. 3) Get a free rabsila. The desires of Moldova are very similar to the desires of Ukraine 2-3 years ago: 1) Eurointegration. 2) The desire for subsidies from the EU. The big question is that the PMR was forgotten, Gagauzia was forgotten. There are a lot of small questions to this: about finances, about infrastructure, about industry and agriculture, about culture, etc.

This is another "weak link" after the Donbass, to play on Russia's nerves. Only worse, because the PMR is in complete isolation. And just a go-ahead from the White House is needed so that Pridnestrovie will be declared the next "quilted jackets" preventing the freedom-loving Moldova in its noble impulse to merge in democratic ecstasy with European Romania.

... for me - they don't give a fuck about butter, not Moldova. Homilies were, are and will be only "captive Romanians". Now they are a prisoner of their own greatness, although "mare rymunesti" is their national fun for about 300 years ...

In the last millennium, the fate of these so-called "great" states was decided by the Empires (Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, German, Russian).
Previously, the empires fought over these territories.
And now, we need to bring this up in such a way that in the gap (geographical) between the two (let's call them Empires, the EU and the CU) these guys are rushing around, and no one takes them.

Like prostitutes, you can use it, but you don’t want to live together.

Great Romania, from the sea to the sea. I do not really like Pikul, but he wrote: Bucharest is a nursery of syphilis.

      (C) They only forgot about it: Uncle Sam doesn’t like the “greats”. There is only one "great" on the planet.

Not only did they forget about this, they did not take into account the main thing - Russia at the next return of its lands may not be as generous as at the end of the Great Patriotic War.

There are Romanians in their repertoire, Great Romania and blah blah blah ..... In the PMR, just as the "Romanians" were insulted, it will remain so. Although it is a pity for Moldova, good people live there.

Even the poorest EU countries need janitors, plumbers, harvesters ... they then left to work.

Oh, don't tell me! The Romanians of the Hungarians got a full night out where and how they would have to, living on what and how. No one in today's Europe needs parasites for the sake of the notorious "tolerant" society - the masks have been thrown off, it's only the corrupt press pushing, preserving the outwardly attractive image of a "free Europe", capable of making African and Middle Eastern refugees embark on an adventure!
