Many who are sitting high and looking far away may disagree with me, but after spending my day off in communication with colleagues and friends in the DPR, I draw the conclusion that suggested itself a long time ago: the Minsk agreements came to an end.
You can still sit a lot, make statements and deal with other husks and plethora. But the facts are stubborn things. And they only confirm the main thesis.
On the outskirts of Donetsk they again beat the Grads and howitzers. Around Vasilievka, hectares of bread and barns are burning in the village itself, without any possibility of extinguishing. For the same simple reason - the shelling does not stop.
The report from Vasilyevka of my friend Tanaya will be released very soon. As another confirmation. Although, what is there to confirm, if everything is already clear? And, most importantly, to whom?
The OSCE, which does not dare to stick your nose out once more and say the words across the terbat? No longer funny. And about the blindness of the observers, who see only what can be seen from Washington, they are already walking.
Or maybe Hollande and Merkel? Yes, it is clear that their heads are completely different.
Meanwhile, at night, technology is being pushed to previous levels. It is clear that it was not Ukrainian, that it did not leave anywhere.
On the one hand, one can freely express all sorts of "displeasure" and everything else, on the other hand - and how much can it be?
How much can you drop by drop this unfortunate people whose guilt is only in the desire to live as people live? How much can you mock, saying that will never be brought to life? Elections, individual statuses, ceasefire?
Many in the DPR are waiting for the south wind. The one who will blow away all this evil, bringing death to the cities and villages of Donbass closer to Kiev. And they are looking forward to it, because they understand that another winter without heat and light, in conditions of daily shelling, can no longer be experienced. And I really want to survive, because I want to live in the first place, and not to survive.
To live by their own labor, not by handouts from humanitarian convoys. To live by people of labor and land, and not by savages, who are kept out of mercy.
"Minsk-2" for the majority of the population of Donbass has long ordered to live long. And there was not much hope that Russia would be able to push Ukraine into a peaceful solution to the Donbass issue, when a whole crowd from the EU and the USA was standing behind Peter the Bloody. It was unrealistic at the beginning, now it looks like a farce.
However, when a political farce begins to turn a bloody hue, something needs to be done about it. And in the DNI understand it.
