“I do not want to make an empty hole in this place”

In Poland, a new stage of the war with monuments began. The city of Penengno was hindered by the monument to Soviet General Ivan Chernyakhovsky, who died in 1945. The bourmister of the city of Kazimierz Keido said that he would not give budget money for the dismantling of the monument: let the Poles take off and thus participate "in a symbolic act of restoration historical the truth. "

Ivan Danilovich Chernyakhovsky - Twice Hero of the Soviet Union (1943, 1944). He became General of the Army in 1944 at the age of 37. Under his command, the troops of the 3 of the Byelorussian Front brilliantly fought, participating in a number of operations: Byelorussian, Vilnius, Kaunas, Memel, Gumbinnen-Goldap, East Prussia.

The general did not live to see 39 years. Shortly before the victory, 18 February 1945, he was seriously wounded by fragments of an artillery shell on the outskirts of Melsac (East Prussia, now the Polish city of Penenzhno). Ivan Chernyakhovsky died on the same day. The memorial on the outskirts of Penenzhno was installed at the beginning of the 1970s.

Recall, official talks in Poland about the demolition of the monument to the Soviet general go from January 2015 of the year. Later, in April, the Penenzno authorities requested permission for demolition from their superiors. They discussed various options for "getting rid of" the Soviet monument: to give to Russia, to transport to the Soviet military cemetery, and also to send to the warehouse.

“If they do not take these steps, we will put it in some warehouse, since for us this object has the value of scrap”, - said the captain Penenzhno.

"Informally" the Poles have long been taking revenge on the monument.

In the 2001 year, recalls "Russian newspaper"Vandals have desecrated him. And in 2013, a special stand was erected near the monument with an explanation: they say, Chernyakhovsky participated in the liquidation of Polish Polish Home Army units near Vilnius, and therefore the general cannot be considered the liberator of Poland.

In February, 2015, recalls "Sight", Polish nationalists tried to disrupt the ceremony at the monument at the event, dedicated to the 70 anniversary of the death of the general.

This summer, the decision to demolish the monument came into force. This July 8 reported TASS with reference to the Polish Press Agency.

The decision to dismantle was taken by the authorities of the town of Braniewo at the request of the commune (volost) in it Penenzho a few weeks ago. Not everyone agreed with the decision: several public organizations and the Russian Embassy objected.

However, the Polish Council for the Preservation of the Memory of the Struggle and Martyrdom, which, under the Polish-Russian intergovernmental agreement, is responsible for the preservation of monuments of the Soviet era, believes that "the discussion has been exhausted."

According to the Council, the existence of the monument is incompatible with Polish national interests. Council Secretary Andrzej Kunert, whose words leads RIA News", stated that the Soviet general took part in the liquidation of the structures of the Home Army, and she was the armed force of the Polish government in exile. So, the Russian general helped to impose the communist system on Poland against the will of society and in violation of the law.

As reported by 4 August Corr. TASS from Warsaw, the authorities of Penenzhno began collecting voluntary donations for the demolition of the monument to Chernyakhovsky. This was stated by the bailiff Kazimierz Keido.

He recalled that he did not intend to allocate funds from the budget for dismantling. In his opinion, everyone who contributes to this initiative will thus take part in the “symbolic act of the restoration of historical truth”.

The authorities of Penenzhno estimated the cost of demolition at 70 thousand PLN (19 thousand dollars). The monument is supposed to be demolished in 2015.

“I don’t want to make an empty hole in this place, tear down a monument, that's all. It is important for me to use the elements of this monument for the construction of another monument that will unite us all, ”said the previously mentioned Keido.

TASS reminds that on July 10 Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin condemned the decision of the Polish authorities to demolish the monument.

«News about the demolition of the monument causes sincere regret and indignation, ”he said. According to him, “war with monuments is a serious political illness called“ unconsciousness ”.

“The Polish authorities mistakenly believe that by demolishing the monument to the Soviet general, they will create a new European history of Poland. Not at all, ”said the speaker. The demolition decision, he said, "offends the feelings of millions of descendants of Red Army soldiers, Russians and Ukrainians, Belarusians, Poles, Georgians and many others who died, freeing the Polish people from fascism."

The head of the lower house expressed regret that this happens in the year of the 70 anniversary of the victory over fascism.

* * *

So, the authorities of the Polish city are planning not only to demolish the Soviet monument, but also to put in their place something “unifying”. By the way, the officer could more precisely say what really "unites" everyone, since the victory over Hitler cannot unite.

Keido only suggested that a monument in honor of European friendship could be erected in place of the Chernyakhovsky memorial. Or in memory of the victims of the war.

All this is symptomatic: the idea of winners is eradicated from the historical memory of entire nations year after year. Another thing - the "memory of the victims." Or a cosmopolitan "European friendship", on closer examination, it looks a lot like friendship with Washington.

The war with the Soviet monuments is explained by something else. It has long been on the planet of the USSR - a huge pink part of the political map of the world. And if so, there is no one to protect Soviet monuments. The objections of the embassy and, moreover, of the Russian deputies, the Polish authorities, who will issue sanctions to Russia together with the EU, will not take into account. Today’s Russia has neither the power of the USSR nor the political will equal to that of the Soviet. The Poles, behind whom stands the “European friendship”, understand this, that's why they are kicking monuments. War with them is safe.

Place a monument near Count A.V. at the Polish border Suvorov, and let his hero Kosciuszko lie at his feet. To remember what happens when the Russian army begins to fight for real.

The Kachinsky monument near Smolensk is superfluous! There is nothing to think about.
The first thought is a memorial in Katyn! At the place of burial of the Poles make urban wastewater treatment plants! But you can’t! Damn, we must remain people, and not become Poles!

A monument to Chernyakhovsky with military honors must be picked up and taken to Russia

There is another suggestion. On the next branch there is the news about the bustle of the Czechs around the erection of monuments to their corps in Russia, the Poles are constantly whining with their Katyn and the president who has died due to his stupidity (or pride), etc. All these activities are spent on funds. So isn't it easier to use these funds to transfer our monuments from countries with amnesia to their homeland, where they will be in demand and in good condition. And all yelling yes demanding, send to hell with their "historical justice."

official talks in Poland about the demolition of the monument to the Soviet general have been going on since January 2015
We all know that Churchill was no friend to us, however:
Autumn 1944 of the year. London. One of the offices of the British Foreign Ministry. Churchill and Mikołajczyk and several members of delegations from Poland and Great Britain are sitting at the round table ...

Mikołajczyk: - The Polish government is not ready to lose almost half of Eastern Poland without first hearing the opinions of the Polish people. It is this opinion that will be decisive for the government.

Churchill: - What kind of “government” are you, if you are not able to make decisions ?! The soulless people who wish Europe to perish! Deal with your troubles yourself!

Churchill lost his temper. He was sure that Stalin would not cooperate with these Poles if they did not give him East Poland (hereinafter in italics - words of an Air Force journalist)

Churchill: - Do you want to overcome Russia ?! Forward! This is some kind of crazy house! I’m not sure that the British government will continue to recognize your ...

But the Poles continued to persist, provoking a new outburst of rage in Churchill.

Churchill: - And what was your contribution to the cause of the allies in this war? What did you throw in the common boiler? Take your divisions, if you wish! You are not able to face facts! I have never seen such an audience in my life!

The Polish question hung in the air ...

It remains to return to Germany the areas of West Prussia, Silesia, East Pomerania and East Brandenburg, the cities of Danzig and Stettin, i.e. everything received from the Russians, and in place of the monument to General Chernyakhovsky put a monument to Hans Frank - Governor-General of occupied Poland.

War with them (monuments) is safe.

Therefore, they fight so zealously, knowing that this does not threaten them with anything. As soon as the vile war with monuments begins in the country, wait for the events for this country to be even worse. Example: Russia of the 90s (demolition of monuments, renaming of streets, etc.), Ukraine today. In spite of the enemies we survived this time. Ukraine will not survive, in Poland it is possible that local nationalists will raise their heads in the same way as their neighbor.

It’s just that the Poles for a long time in one place have overthrown the thought of Greatness of Great Poland! And since it is impossible to realize it in today's conditions for a number of reasons, they, according to Freud, send energy in a different direction. self-affirmation through infliction of damage, harm to those who are weaker and can not answer. In this case, it is something that cannot give change - monuments. And since actions speak for their owner, we can draw conclusions about the low moral and moral qualities of the nation as a whole!

You can also collect money for dismantling, I think that we will collect it quickly. And it’s time to already unveil the truth about the Poles’s strides, because even according to the falsified protocol, slopped during the Yeltsin period, there were a little more than 2000 names in it, and the Poles put up a memorial in memory of 24 thousand.
