Wounded Gorlovka celebrated the tragic anniversary
27 July 2014 of the year - one of the darkest days in stories Gorlovka. A year ago, the Maidan junta subjected this small Donbass city to fierce shelling. The result - dozens of victims, many injured, damage to homes, shops and other buildings. And today Gorlovka is often shelled. But now people have already learned to hide in shelters, to comply with other security measures (but still, of course, it does not do without victims). And then - it was completely unexpected ...
The bus stop with the beautiful name "Melody" ... Typical houses, the ATB grocery supermarket, now renamed "Impulse", other stores ... A year ago, a cruel death tune sounded in this ordinary corner of an ordinary city. The shelling began at about noon, when mothers walked with the children, women bought food, in general, there was ordinary, everyday life. And it was Sunday, which would later be called bloody.
In this list - 21 surname. All sorts of birth dates, but (with one exception) - the total date of death is 27.07.14. Only one woman has the last date one day later. She passed away the next day in the hospital. The place of death is mainly the area of the ATB supermarket on Prospekt Pobedy. The first are the names of Christina Sergeevna Beetle, 1990, born, and her daughter, Kira Beetle, 2013, born. Subsequently, Christina will be called “Gorlovskaya Madonnaya”, her photos will cover the whole world ...
A year after the tragedy, hundreds of residents of the city of Gorlovka came to this place, where a modest monument in the form of a stone with a sign “Innocent victims of undeclared war” is now installed. They came with roses and carnations in their hands.
Memorial service was served. Then the priest, in his sermon, said that such a sudden, unexpected death in Slavonic is called “brazen death”. “There is a tragedy in our family - we are losing someone, and at the same time there is a replenishment in the Heavenly family ... God will have mercy on such people, but will we be rewarded with this grace? We will have to answer very differently, ”he said.
Then a short mourning meeting took place. In the speeches, sad statistics were voiced - this year 164 civilians were killed in the city, including 16 children. 506 people were injured.
There were poems about the current war: “I ask you, Donbass, hold on, for our happiness and for life. The shells are torn behind his back. Please Donbass, hold on, dear! "
Anatoly Kopylov, deputy head of the administration of Gorlovka, said: “Today we pay tribute to all those who wanted to live, wanted to work, wanted to be with us here, but they were not destined. Eternal memory to them.
The impartial metronome tapped a minute of silence, then the presenter read another poem: “Lord, please, we don’t want war.” The visitors laid flowers at the monument. Children's toys were also brought to the stone.
Many could not hold back tears.
The relatives and friends of the victims approached the monument and just stood with their heads bowed ...
At the scene of the shelling now almost everything has been restored, the shops continue to operate. Yet the wounds of the city are still visible. In many windows of houses on Prospekt Pobedy - instead of glass film or plywood ...
A year has passed since the shelling. On the night of July 26, Gorlovka was again subjected to fierce shelling. One person died, the power supply system was damaged, and many were left without light and water. And even now, while I am writing, this report is already in Donetsk, - the residents of Gorlovka inform in social networks: “We are again very loud”.
