Kiev plans to place the slogan “Crime Ukraine” on billboards in a number of post-Soviet countries
The large Kiev advertising agency Region Media has already sent its letters to Kazakhstan at several addresses.
“The initiator of the campaign is the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine,” the letter says. - This is a direct client of our agency in this project. The goal of the campaign is to expand the placement of the message "Crimea is Ukraine" outside Ukraine. At the moment, this story is available only on the territory of Ukraine. We are negotiating on the possibility of accommodation in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan ... The approximate budget is minimal. "
The editors of the Kazakhstan edition managed to contact the Kiev advertisers:
“Editorial: Do you really intend to enter Kazakhstan with this social advertisement?
- So far this question has stopped. We wanted and want to go to Kazakhstan, just here we have another policy - the election campaign started, our politicians are not up to that, and most likely this issue will be irrelevant until the autumn. Then we will return to it.
Revision: But we also have our own policy here. Kazakhstan wants to be friends with both Russia and Ukraine. It will not hurt you?
“I don’t think there can be any problem with this.” We have already discussed these layouts and talked about how to adapt them. Considering the fact that in Kazakhstan most of the population is Muslim, you probably need to remove the cross in the corner of the layout. Something like this…
Revision: That is your serious decision?
- Yes. Only I think that before the end of August this topic will not come out. And maybe later. ”
Then, the editors appealed to the ministry itself: “Did you give instructions to any advertising campaigns in Ukraine to begin negotiations on promoting social advertising in Kazakhstan,“ Crimea is Ukraine? ”.”
“We gave such an order in May - we turned to colleagues from advertising agencies to place such social advertising. However, no one helped us. If now your colleagues have a desire, we will be happy! ”, Said Deputy Minister Artem Bidenko.
Earlier (in May), this project was announced by the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets:
