The main purpose of the maneuvers is to work out and strengthen the interaction between the military personnel of different countries. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, Canadian and American military specialists arrived on the territory of Ukraine to assess the possibilities of training Ukrainian soldiers in the framework of the exercise.

Annual maneuvers of the Saber Guardian / Rapid Trident take place on Ukrainian territory with the participation of units of Ukraine, the United States and other NATO countries and the former USSR. In 2014, almost 1.3 was attended by thousands of troops from 15 countries.

Previously, there were also reports that in November Washington will expand the training program for Ukrainian security officials.
