The first two "Rafal" for Egypt

43
The French resource defens-aero.com published photos taken at the BA125 airbase in Istra (France), which showcased the first 2 fighters of the Dassault Rafale DM, built for the Egyptian Air Force, flying around. This is reported by the blog. bmpd.

In total, the first batch will include three two-seater aircraft with serial number DM01, DM02 and DM03.

Since May, 2015, eight Egyptian pilots and 22 vehicles, have been trained at the BA118 airbase in Mont-de-Marsan.

The transfer of the first batch to Egypt is scheduled for the end of July so that the fighters can participate in the celebrations (August 5 2015 g) in honor of the completion of the reconstruction of the Suez Canal. It is noteworthy that these aircraft were originally intended by the French Air Force, but were transferred to the category of export aircraft at the request of the Egyptian side due to the upcoming holiday.

The operation of the aircraft in Egypt will be controlled by two seconded French pilots and a group of technicians from the Air Force and the company Dassault Aviation.

"The contract for the purchase of Dassault Rafale fighters by Egypt (24 twin Rafale DM and eight single Rafale EM) worth 16 billion euros was signed 3,5 February 16 of the year in Cairo as part of a large package of five contracts for the sale of large quantities of French weapons worth 2015 billion euro, ”informs the resource.

It is noted that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates took over the financing of the package of contracts. Previously, they made a deposit of $ 10 billion to Egypt.

The blog reminds that "in 1981, Egypt became the first foreign customer of the previous type of Dassault fighter - Mirage 2000".

They are making an army of mercenaries from the Egyptians who will work if not for food, then for weapons for the benefit of the UAE and the Saudis ... Don’t worry the Egyptians, soon you will work out expensive toys (in the war with the Hussites / Iran / ISIS) that you did not give and who paid for your blood and life ...

P.S. By the way, Russia will also buy a lot of weapons, and what, the Egyptians are walking while "Daddy is kind" but only that Daddy is not kind but "Daddy is calculating" (See paragraph above).

The basic model of Rafal came out in 1986, in a modern modification there is already a completely different filling.

VUS 310101 "Financial support and economics of combat and economic activity of troops (forces)"
but there was not a technical military academy, which I graduated from, the military department belongs to the Air Force, shoulder straps were handed to the Air Force, and therefore I have, albeit indirectly, but to the Air Force.

What a Mistral. The contact is paid, the contract is intended for a friendly country that is going to use it to counter the Hausites and ISIS. France’s reputation after the Mistrales did not suffer much, much like Russia's reputation after the transfer of C-300 to Iran, which we stopped due to sanctions. Ours already said that the 6th generation aircraft will be both with the possibility of piloting a pilot, and in an unmanned version. I don’t find a rocket, it’s possible to use such a plane according to the situation, make a decision in real time to open fire or not, rockets for the most part (except for the tomahawk of the 4th model) cannot circle the target evaluating the situation, and if a situation arises in which you need to cancel the decision to hit the target, a rocket priced at $ 1,5 million having exhausted the fuel will fall, and the fighter will return to base.

In principle, Egypt has a small territory and a light fighter is enough for the Mig-35, F-16, Grippen. All the same, Rafal is an average fighter, and it costs 120 million per unit with afar and all the bells and whistles.

If you look from the economic side, then yes, of course. However, in the case of Egypt, the music is ordered by the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates (the same w..pa, only a top view). And they will NEVER give money for the purchase of Russian weapons since they themselves are allies of the United States to one degree or another.
The Egyptians simply explained popularly: either you take what we give or you fight with ISIS with what you have. All. Dot. Egypt does not have its own money.
But these countries may well afford to give the United States a slight flick for their attempt to destabilize the Saudis and the UAE in the oil market for the so-called "shale oil production". And in the case of claims from amers to say like "we do not know business, France is part of NATO, the money for Rafali goes to her, what's the matter?"
And this purchase will not particularly affect relations with Russia, since the GDP has agreed to build our nuclear power plant there, and this is much more important than the regiment of fighters.

East - a delicate matter, gentlemen. There, not everything is as simple as it seems to us.

"Egypt's slap in the face to its American ally" - so the newspaper Le Mond headlined its article. The Russian nuclear power plant and the French Rafale are not a return of the Cold War, "however, this is a message addressed specifically to Washington, which for a long time remained the privileged, if not the only, partner of Cairo. And the meaning of this message is more than clear."
In early February, Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a two-day visit to Egypt. One of the important outcomes was the signing of an agreement that opened up the possibility of Rosatom participating in the construction project of the country's first nuclear power plant. At the same time, Putin said that Russia could build Egypt not just a nuclear power plant, but create an entire nuclear industry.
A poster with Russian President Vladimir Putin on a street in Cairo, Egypt. Archive photo

On February 12, French President François Hollande confirmed the conclusion of a major arms deal with Cairo: Paris is selling 24 Rafale combat aircraft, a frigate and short- and medium-range missiles to Cairo for a total of 5,2 billion euros. "It (the deal) is truly historic: Cairo became the first overseas customer to buy Rafale in 30 years."

“Ignoring the security and energy needs of its ally Egypt, Washington itself pushed Cairo to seek alternative partners. Until this year, the United States was Egypt’s mainstay in energy. Now this is no longer the case,” writes Forbes.
"Cairo said it will continue to look for alternatives to the American monopoly on the supply of defensive weapons to the country. Egypt is strengthening ties with Russia and" has plans "to develop cooperation with China."
