Today, the press service of the SBU issued a message from which it follows that the acting general consul of the Russian Federation in Odessa was declared persona non grata in Ukraine. From the message of the press service of the SBU:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, according to the Security Service, declared the Acting General Consul of the Russian Federation in Odessa persona non grata.
In accordance with Art. 23 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine handed a note to the Russian side demanding to urgently leave the territory of our country and acting. Consul General of the Russian Federation in Odessa.
According to the chairman of the SBU Vasily Gritsak, the decision was made because of the incompatibility of his diplomatic activities, as well as for violation of the provisions of the above-mentioned convention.
He assured that the Security Service will continue to show foreigners working against our state, hiding behind status. Today, the Russian diplomat has left Ukraine.
Apparently, Saakashvili complained to the SBU that he was uncomfortable with the flag of the Russian Federation flying in Odessa over the building of the Consulate General.
On the eve of the Security Service reported that in the Luhansk region service officers detained a forester, who, as the SBU-Schnick asserts, "acted in the interests of terrorists." And when will the SBU begin to detain the real terrorists in the forests of Transcarpathia (Mukachevo)?
