Hubei class missile boats of the 022 project. Displacement - 225 tons. It’s all a matter of looking for them all, since 2004, up to now, 83 has been done. Therefore, just a few photos and information about these ships.

33. The 022 class Houbei missile boats replaced the 021 project huangfeng class boats that were commissioned between 1960 and 1980 years. The first in its class small rocket boat was laid in April 2004, at the Hudong-Zhonghu shipyard in Shanghai.

34. The tasks of the ship are to patrol the coastal waters of China, which consist in the operational control of the East China, South China and Yellow seas, in ensuring economic interests inside and outside the exclusive economic zone of China, in performing naval operations to resolve conflicts on disputed sea territories and the destruction of surface ships of enemy aircraft carrier strike groups.

35. For ten years, 83 Houbei-class missile boats, which are part of three fleets, were produced in the PRC. It is worth noting that these warships are made with a view to reducing the level of radar, visual, acoustic and infrared signatures. Thus, the hull and the superstructure have a slight slope, the hatch holes of the missile boat have uneven edges, similar to the American F-117 bombers.

36. On board the rocket boat 8 of fourth-generation ASCM missiles, each of which is capable of hitting a target at a distance of up to 50 nautical miles. Missile launchers are located in the stern. Besides them, there are other weapons systems on board - the 30-mm six-barreled AK-630 artillery system and two launchers with 12 ground-to-air missiles located in the bow of the ship. Finally, the speed of the ship allows you to literally get away from enemy torpedoes, since the latter have not yet reached such a high speed.

China's nuclear submarines are a topic about which there is little more information than nothing at all. Therefore, here we will have to manage only the general characteristics of the new nuclear submarines available to China.

Strategic nuclear submarines of the type 094 "Jin". Displacement - 9000 tons.

37. The design of an 094-type submarine began at the end of the 80-s - the beginning of the 90-s. According to unverified data, the help of Chinese designers was provided by the specialists of the Russian design bureau (Experimental Design Bureau) Rubin.

38. Construction of the first submarine began in the 1999 year, it was launched on the water in July 2004 year. The second was launched in the 2007 year. According to reports, both boats were tested without real ballistic missile launches.

39. The 094 Jin submarine is capable of carrying 12 ballistic missiles. A three-stage solid-propellant ballistic missile JuLang-2 is intended for armament of submarines of this type. It is a modification of the DongFeng-31 land intercontinental ballistic missile. Its maximum range is 7000 — 8000 km.

40. The first submarine was commissioned in the 2004 year and received the tail number 409. It is assumed that there will be at least two Jin class submarines in service. According to Chinese media, in March 2010 6-I was launched on the submarine of this type.

Strategic nuclear submarines type 096 "Tan". The hypothetical displacement is 20000 tons.

41. There is not even a single normal photo from this SSBN. However, according to available information, the SSBN type 096 has a length of 150 m, a width of 20 m. The boat has a two-hull design, two pressurized reactors and two steam generating plants. Speed - up to 32 knots. In addition, the use of high-strength materials will provide it with an immersion depth of up to 600. The submarine is equipped with modern sound insulation systems, which makes the boat quiet (the noise level is estimated to be 95-100 dB; the 094 has 115 dB). Analysts suggest that the Chinese have already completed one submarine of this type.

Multipurpose nuclear submarines of the 093 Shan project. Displacement - 7000 tons.

42. “Shan” type boats have a relatively short hull with streamlined “Albacor type” contours. They have a double-hull architectural-structural scheme and are equipped with one low-noise propeller. The tail plumage is a cruciform, and the front horizontal tail, as on other Chinese nuclear submarines, is located on the fence of sliding devices.

The power plant consists of two water-cooled nuclear reactors, characterized by low noise, and one turbo-gear unit.

43. The boat is equipped with the latest Chinese sonar and torpedo weapons. Six 533-mm torpedo tubes are located in the bow of the ship. Of these, you can fire torpedoes (including the newest remote-controlled, as well as having a homing on the wake trail), anti-ship cruise missiles YJ-8-II (different from YJ-8 by the possibility of underwater launch and maximum range of fire increased to 80 km) and, probably, underwater launch cruise missiles designed to engage ground targets.

44. The first submarine was commissioned in the 2007 year. It is assumed that there are at least two Shan-class submarines in service. It is assumed that by the second half of the next decade, China will build eight to ten boats of the 093 project.

[b] Multipurpose nuclear submarines of the 095 project. Displacement unknown.

45. About this submarine there is a bit of open information. According to the Taiwanese Global Defense magazine, China, in complete secrecy, will introduce construction of at least three fourth-generation atomic multipurpose submarines Type 095. The head boat of this class was built in the 2008 year. These boats are characterized as low-noise impact submarines, their construction is underway in Bochai, the plant is “completely underground” to prevent spy satellites from observing. The plant has an “underground pier” capable of withstanding a nuclear strike. Submarines are equipped with long-range cruise missiles for strikes against ground targets, anti-ship and anti-submarine missiles. Putting into operation new submarines will allow China to reduce the gap with the US in this area of naval technology "by 20 years."

Diesel-electric submarines of the 041 "Yuan" project. Displacement - 2500 tons:

46. Any exact characteristics of the submarine type 041 are not given. However, it is known that they are a further development of submarines of the 039A type (Song - according to the western classification). A strong influence on the architectural and layout of the Yuan had a Russian school design submarines. The 041 type boats are smaller than the submarines of the 877 / 638 submarine (Kilo - according to the NATO classification), but more than the Amur submarines (with the latter, Yuan is similar to the placement of horizontal rudders on the fence of sliding devices). This gave grounds for the Kanwa News magazine to assign its name to the 041 submarine - Chinese Kilo-Amur, that is, “Chinese Kilo-Amur”.

47. Armed with these boats will be torpedoes and mines, as well as anti-ship cruise missiles YJ-8 (C-801). For surfaced submarines are equipped with diesel engines MTU 16V396 SE84, which are produced in Shanghai under license.

48. On the 2015 year, 7 boats of this project are part of the Chinese Navy.

[b] Diesel submarines of the 636 Varshavyanka project. Displacement - 3950 tons. Built in Russia.

49. The hull of the boat is double, with 6 waterproof compartments. Rocket complex "Caliber" can be installed on the boats version 636M. TA reloading is done in 15 seconds. Stroke range:
- economical 3 node travel - 400 miles;
- in RDP mode at a speed of 7 nodes - 7500 miles.

50. Submarines of this class were supposed to be built in large quantities for export to the countries of the Warsaw Pact, therefore the project was named that way. The boat is designed to combat enemy submarines and surface ships, to protect naval bases, the sea coast and sea communications.

51. From 1998 to 2005, ten submarines of this project were built on the order of the Chinese Navy.

That's all. Presented to you at 90 percent is what built after 2000 of the year. There is only one moral here - we need to be friends with China, not forgetting about our Strategic Missile Forces.

Thank you!

Impressive and very strong, especially the number of ships, another type 095, an underground plant and an underground pier. Although type 095 most likely looks very different, and it is unlikely to be on a par with Virginia or Ashen, it seems to be only a matter of time. It is hoped that in China a government with aggressive intentions will not come to power.

There are no project 095 boats in China. It was a western mistake regarding the incorrect classification of project 093G boats. Which is not at all what is shown on model 095. There is indeed an underground plant and base there. But 095 is not. None. Now there is a serial construction of 093G, after which 095 boats can indeed continue to be built.

For submarines in the article pure fantasy:
There is more than enough information on Chinese submarines. And she is quite complete. All information can be read here on Chinese boats: http://sovpl.forum24.ru/?1-4-0-00000044-000-40-0#052
And for the 039A project boats (and their modifications) can be found here: http: //sovpl.forum24.ru/? 1-4-0-00000044-000-40-0 # 053

The boats of project 041 specified in the article do not exist in nature. This is the west originally assigned the number to the next type of submarines in China. From there it roamed everywhere. In fact, this is not project 041, but project 039A (initially), which then went through a series of modernizations.

Strategists 094 have already fired rockets at full range from the US coast at a firing range in China. Another thing is that for them there really aren’t full ammunition of SLBMs.

The boats of project 095 indicated in the article are just being built now. And the bookmark of 2008 turned out to be submarines of project 093G, about the existence of which there is not a word in the article.

No, not written off. Still in combat formation. I have it listed on the site. Another thing is that the author of the article wrote what, in his opinion, came into operation after 2000. And the boat of project 092 went into operation earlier than this year. Therefore, it is not in this article.

It is doubtful No. The boat "Xia" pr.092 was not very successful, and was built in a single copy. She did not spend not a single battle service as SSBN. Not so long ago, it was rebuilt to test new JL-2 missiles (8000 km range, up to 4 RPG IN, tests from 2001), is currently in service as an experimental and training boat.

Oh, we would ship them .....
And damn it, simple and cheap RTOs and corvettes - riveted in dozens.
And ours are muddled with only a dozen ships - RTOs are new nishtyak, but 23850 corvettes - the domestic marine wunderwafle turned out, and not a mass corvette (

The Chinese at sea are still very far from the United States, and on land to Russia. It is not only a matter of copying other people's designs. You also need to have many years of experience, which the PRC does not yet have. This is very similar to the situation of the 90's in the automotive industry, when it seemed to everyone that the Koreans would tear everyone. They didn’t break, and even today Korean cars are still far from German or Japanese, although they have occupied their niche and are making a good product. The Chinese are building a lot of ships, but what about their experience and quality of all this equipment? They waged all wars with numerical superiority. In Damansky there were many of them, and in 79 in Vietnam there were many of them. Barefoot Vietnamese defeated them! Everywhere the result is negative, there are no victories. On the sea all the more. Although, of course, we must treat the PRC with all seriousness. Our attempts to revive the fleet are clearly with more slippage than the Chinese.

Well done Chinese, what else can you say, maybe their ships are not as perfect as those of the Americans, technologies are lagging behind, etc., but the main thing is a real desire to become one of the leading maritime powers, but it is clear that the government and the Central Committee of the CP of the PRC are not spares financial resources for the development of the Chinese Navy, and most importantly controls the spending of these funds. The result is obvious. I would not be surprised if in 4-5 years the Chinese lay down their cruiser URO. We will soon have only barges and boats in the fleet, with such deputy prime ministers and ministers. Only one submarine is expected to be commissioned this year, just "hurray."
