Edward Basurin: Fighters "Right Sector" are moving to Kiev
Deputy Chief of Staff of the DPR militia Edward Basurin said during an interview with RIA "News"that the fighters of the "Right Sector" (PS) began to leave their positions in the Donbas and are moving towards Kiev. Earlier, the organization’s units were leaving the ATO zone, a representative of the Right Sector also reported, but on Monday this information was refuted by the PS leader, Dmitry Yarosh.
“Some of the fighters of the Right Sector really leave their places of deployment in the Donbas and deploy forces in the direction of Kiev,” said Basurin.
However, he stressed that the number of groups of Ukrainian security forces in the Donbass increases.
“According to the latest statement of Poroshenko, in the Donbass thousands of APU soldiers are currently fighting 64. They increase the number of their units and, thus, simply “play with their muscles” when they declare that they are interested in a peaceful solution to the conflict, ”he added.
It is worth noting that 11 July activists of the “Right Sector” came into confrontation with law enforcement officers and local business structures of the city of Mukachevo in the Transcarpathian region, opening firing of machine guns and a grenade launcher. As a result, 3 people died, 11 were injured. It was noted that the shooters fled into the forest, saying that they would lay down weapon, only after the order of its leader. At the same time, they explained their actions in the fight against smuggling. Dmitry Yarosh arrived at the scene, but did not give the order to hand over his weapons, negotiations began.
